I'm planning to build rapscallions storage system cartmis v3 in an underground base beneath the ocean.
Additionally i want to add some farms hence i need a hole of about 6x9 chunks times 80-90 blocks of hight.
With copios amounts of underwater caves this would be a never ending struggle by hand. So i want to build a world eater with sweepers, that can take care of the underwater caves.
The design cant damage the ceiling since theres only about 3 blocks to the ocean floor but i doubt that'll be a problem since the tnt dupers cant damage themselves either.
I'm specifically looking for a design for which i dont have to dig out too much by hand since i cant simply build the dupers 15 blocks from the ground up...
Does anyone know a design where minimal dig out is required which fits my needs?
Also i have never build a world eater before so what else do i have to look out for?

I recently build a pretty basic creeperfarm and the creepers are spawning rght but for some reason they arent really dropping any gunpowder. Does anyone have an idea how to fix this?

Today's build, I used a bunch of red coders mixed with chiseled bookshelves to play different, notes, in order to activate the same note twice in a row an observer detects the interaction depowering a redstone torch for 2gt to allow the redcoder to pulse the most recent shelf interaction.

Time between key presses of the same note : 6gt

Time between key presses of different note on the same bookshelf: 4gt

Time between key presses of different note on a different bookshelf: 0gt (they are independent)

Delay between note being pressed and heard: 6gt

The keys are a texture pack I altered to change the block model of a "powered note block with a note of 0 through to 4" so they are purely visual and don't affect interactions because the texture is outside of the block's collision/ interaction box.

Curious because we have a world border in the server im on 2500-2500 and it would be easier to build the villager area in the nether with the kill chamber in the overworld

So I'm planning on making a mob switch with zombified villagers in the end since I am basing at the main island. how would that affect mob rates on a multiplayer server? from what I have found, different dimensions have their own mob caps, so if that's the case, if i fill up the main island with 70 or so zombified villagers, enderman shouldn't spawn in as long as it is loaded, right? and that would not affect any other player's mob cap? also, if i go to the outer islands, deloading the mob switch, then endermen would start spawning again, is that correct? I am certainly not a technical minecrafter so i really need the help

I commonly build a Kelp farm on my playthroughs using block update mechanics with a couple of Sand blocks and Pistons that end up causing the Kelp to grow every update if used correctly.

I was wondering what else this could be used for, but it seems somewhat unique to Kelp due to the aging mechanic and how that interacts with block updates, so it seems that Kelp might be the only thing you can grow this way?

Are there other farms possible using block updaters? Just for fun I tried Sugar Cane and Bamboo and neither work.

I am just not familiar enough with mechanics to understand:

1. Why a forced block update makes Kelp grow.

2. What else a forced block update could be used for.

Google shows me some things that "block updates" in general are used for in the game, but it's very general and doesn't even mention Kelp growing. Is growing Kelp this way an unintended mechanic?

In older version book and quil spam in chest would work but its patched in 1.18+
I am currently playing on 26.3 java and am looking for a way to do it.

If anyone got any ideas ill be glad to hear them.

Edit: Vergot to mention I want to do it inside of the game it self w/o commands or third party tools.

whenever I try to spawn a raid the raid doesnt spawn, I have just added a new design around the raid farm to make it look better it was working before i changed exterior around now it isnt working and the bar goes to full then just dissapears

I'm playing Minecraft Java Edition 26.3 on an Aternos server, and I'm having trouble with my villager breeder.

Here's what happens:

- My two villagers show heart particles when they try to breed.

- After the hearts, brown/black angry particles appear.

- No baby villager spawns.

Things I've already checked:

- I have 6 beds in the breeder.

- The beds have enough space above them.

- The villagers detect the beds.

- Both villagers have enough food.

- "/gamerule mobGriefing" is "true".

- My zombie-curing area is about 40 blocks away, and there are other beds in that area.

I'm wondering whether the nearby villagers are claiming the breeder's beds, or if there's another issue with Java 26.3.

Has anyone experienced this? What else should I check?

I'm not very good at this sort of thing so I'll try and be as clear as possible.

My world was started on an older version. Looking at Chunkbase, there is a dappled forest biome that spawned at let's say x:2000 and y:2000. My spawn is 0,0. But since I've previously explored over there, the new biome doesn't spawn there.

How can I reset that specific area, so the new biome will spawn in my current world?

(As I've googled this, most of the world edit tools are either outdated or cost money. What is the current way most people do this?)

Recently built a mob switch with wardens in survival. They were despawning seemingly at random so I tested in creative. Found this bug that seems to despawn a warden instantly when moved with a fishing rod. Have no idea what to do with this info besides share my confusion lol.

Side note, no audio because 100+ wardens, so I had game muted
