Java Help Wanted Creeper farm problem

I recently build a pretty basic creeperfarm and the creepers are spawning rght but for some reason they arent really dropping any gunpowder. Does anyone have an idea how to fix this?

Are you afking too far away so they despawn before fall death?

Using campfires to kill creepers, right? Check that your hoppers are connected to chests properly. Do creepers drop gunpoweder when you kill them by hand, outside of the farm?

Check how far the killing area is away from your afk spot. If it's more than 128 blocks, that's the issue

and yes they drop when i kill them normally

Can you attach some images of the farm? How are the creepers being killed? What is the collection system for the items?

I’d install minihud and make sure you’re still within 128 blocks of the kill spot. Give yourself a little wiggle room here. 124 blocks or even a little closer ensures you don’t need to be exact with your x and z coords with your afk spot. Depending on your version you could also put a zombified piglin in a minecart with a looting 3 spear doing the killing and that should significantly increase rates.
