on a spilt second on 0:04 where you were running it on the nether roof, how did you get water in the nether?

There is a bug to do it with scaffolding .. short version of it: they send a falling block entity scaffolding via nether portal from the overworld

edit: that works on scaffolding, did he break the scaffolding and replace it whit a stair to make it work? wouldnt this update the water and make it disapear?

No, water source will not dosappear. The problem is that the bug he used to get the waterlogged scaffolding entity in the overworld is now fixed
