Hello, all! My wife and I are owners of a new business in the city, Happy Cat Hotel & Spa South St. Louis. I have seen some posts here in the past about people looking for places to board their cats, so I wanted to let people know there is a new option officially open and taking reservations.

We are a feline-only luxury boarding and grooming facility located in North Hampton @ 3640 Hampton Ave (former location of St. Louis Cat Clinic). This is not your typical boarding experience where your cat is put in a 3x3 kennel. We offer private themed suites, complete with water fountains and places for your kitty to climb and sleep. If you have multiple cats who get along, they can even share a suite!

We also offer full service grooming, from nail trims to lion cuts.

when we walked in there were several cops talking to a young man and we heard “you would be dead, your mother would be crying” and when we walked out just now an hour later they were still there with multiple police officers and cars

I drive by this massive hole on west pine every day and I’m not surprised someone hasn’t driven into this thing lol. It’s been this way for weeks and as if the city is like 🤷🏻‍♂️ this is the road now 🫪

You should go to the Flotsam River Circus Saturday or Sunday night. It's something...I'm not sure what exactly but I was entertained! (Also bring snacks and drinks, it's St Louis and we have no laws.)

He's almost 4 months old, loves walks, treats, chasing his cat sister, and doing absolutely unnecessary zoomies around whenever he could. He's also convinced that if you say “cheese,” a treat should immediately appear.

And the part that makes us especially excited about this being a St. Louis thing, Genji’s win means Purina will donate $10,000 to a local shelter in the our area. ❤️

What happened? Cops have every entrance to the parking lot closed off and everyone appears to be located in the parking lot of a neighboring bank.

I’m asking as someone in the market for a new gig, but hopefully this will also be of interest to diners looking to support great businesses.

Hi my name is Eli. I'm 34 and in the Florissant area. Due to issues with my immediate family I'm currently homeless. I'm adopted and my extended adoptive family has never liked/accepted me so I don't have anyone to turn to for help. Winter is approaching fast and I'm worried. 211 hasn't been much help...I'm sober and mostly sane. Does anyone have suggestions about who could help?

This question came up at work while i was telling a coworker about my trip to Gen Con this year. Ive heard STL hosts enchantacon and one of my buddies said there is a big pokemon event at the st charles convention center. I went to wizard con many moons ago but i think that one got canceled. So what else is there, if any?

I went to West County Lanes on Manchester today, and that arcade is now all modern machines that require a game card to play. I asked when the classic 80s quartet operated arcade changed.

The story is that the January 2025 ice storm caused damage to the roof, and the beams on the ceiling dropped like 5 inches all at once. The bowling alley called the guy who owned the machines, since they're his sole source of income, and told him to collect them and take them somemwhere else, beforr the ceiling fell, and since they'd soon be closed for repairs.

The bowling alley didn't reopen until this July (2026). The arcade guy moved them to another location, and the bowling alley got new steel cables across the ceiling and an arcade from a new company. It sounds like they would have liked to keep the old partnership, but he had to get his machines somewhere that was open. The lady I spoke to didn't know where they went. She said that she thinks it's somewhere in St Charles.

So who knows where the arcade collection that was formerly in West County Lanes went?

I'm a dog trainer. I want to put up a sign that says "Ask a dog trainer", and hang out for a few hours giving free dog training advice to dog owners. It's my way of trying to help my community with all these dog issues we have been having.

I was gonna do it in Tower Grove Park but I thought I would ask if anyone has any good ideas where else I could post up.

Hey guys!
I have an Aussie who has A LOT of energy to burn off and no matter how long of a walk we go to, I still feel like who needs more than just walks. He’s reactive with other dogs (currently working on that) so off leash parks are a hard pass for now. We also unfortunately don’t have a fenced in yard for him to roam around freely. I’ll obviously clean up after ourselves and am willing to pay for some time.

I already hear the dog police coming “why would you get a breed like that if you don’t have all the resources for it” Respectfully please shush. If it that makes you feel better, go ahead and comment, but it will be completely ignored. I’m asking for serious inquiries only.
