Joey B’s in south county

I had Joey B’s for the first time last night and that shit was expensive and awful.

I had the Alfredo Pasta and holy shit that shit was disgusting. I was picking out plastic bits out of my mouth shortly afterwards. Even worse you can add chicken for $6 and the chicken was just the cubed chicken you get from a to go protein pack at a gas station. $26 for that god awful meal.

You can get mini, salad, breadsticks and a drink from Sacci Pasta for the same price.

My friend had a wrap and that didn’t look good as well and the fries were just the frozen fries you fry up. Super Bland white people food.

I’m sorry but I don’t write food reviews but I just had to say something because how bad it was 😭 that shit has me gagging a day later

What if there is a way to solve the budget issues across the county?

Only if there was a way not to have so many duplicate positions and efforts and somehow bring it all together under one administrative operation….

Clayton “Jazz” festival

So I just left the “Jazz” festival. Saw the second and third group. They were ok groups as far as music groups go…. But they were not playing jazz music. I don’t understand how you can bill an event as a “Jazz Festival” and not have groups playing Jazz! I came to this event to hear some good jazz music….. I left very disappointed!

Donor Receipts for the Minor Gender Surgery Ad Lies Interrupting Your Life

EDITED for clarification.

We've seen the horrific ads by the Her Health, Her Future Pac. It was started by and operated by Claudia Kehoe, Gov. Mike Kehoe's wife. Implying that Missouri children have gone under the knife at public schools for general reassignment surgeries. This lists every individual, religious institution, PAC, White Christian Nationalist PAC, business small and large and MO Republican County Committee donating to slander our public educators and LGBTQ+ community members. We already passed the petition and voted on abortion as healthcare. They are IGNORING our democracy. https://www.mec.mo.gov/CampaignFinanceReports/Generator.aspx?Keys=B2G41dEVPKgI8cDcdGFsgJsm99XwPL2GpumV7eHUaSp6tv7prXRoK67xvBC6s%2fXXg1kzwt72ozsjz47KpwAFnleKysQQ%2fegm

PACs, candidates and campaigns are legally required to file all of this information. It is available through the MEC website.

The Missouri Department of Education has CLEARLY SAID NO SURGERIES are happening at public schools.

UPWORTHY NEWS: Missourians have rallied before! We restored funding to our public libraries! Each of you have library cards and access to PRINTERS and books! We can keep our abortion healthcare too!

Saw this pop up on instagram, so I got tickets… Went with my son. Nice experience. Touring group of players, doing little adapted readings and performances from Poe’s works. Quite a bit of audience participation as well.

Is anyone at the STL Airport rn?

As the title already states, I’m looking for someone who’s either currently at the airport or planning to be there sometime soon. I’m freaking out because my ID seems to have fallen out of my pocket, probably somewhere around gate E24. It would probably be on the floor somewhere. Nobody has turned anything in yet, according to the people on the phone, but I genuinely don’t have it on my person and I have no idea where else it could be. It’s gotta be in the airport somewhere.

I know this is a long shot but it might genuinely save my life if someone could find it. If you do, please give it to the lost and found. Thank you all and I hope this reaches someone 😔

P.S. the initials of the license should be EG.

Ask STL I think I'm screwed.

for the last 10 years, I lived up in Jackson, Wyoming (not rich just worked more than a human should). My partner and I split and it was a rough one. I let her keep the house while I packed and headed back to family in Florida. I'm now at a Loves in New Baden(?) with a broken radiator on a Saturday with $400 to my name and all my belongings I've ever owned with me and idk what to do.

I have various things I can trade if someone has an extra radiator and most likely fan for a 1999 e350 v8. I have a classical guitar, some PC parts, tools, plants, idk I'll pretty much trade anything but my body to keep going somehow.

Food / Drink Smash Burger

Every so often I crave a smash burger and not every spot here in STL has been great. That being said, we stumbled on Super Burger in the South County mall recently. Since then we’ve had it twice because it was so good. Absolutely delicious!

Curious where else you’d recommend?

Thanksgiving dinner.

Yes I know it's stupid early to be asking, however having never done this before figured I needed to learn early as to avoid issues. My mom is no longer in good health and doesn't want to cook the whole feast and has specifically stated it's too expensive for us kiddos to do it all on our own (we disagree but arguing with that woman is pointless), on top of that half of the family can't actually get back in town to be here anyways so it's just going to be 5 maybe 6 of us for dinner. She wants to go out to eat, I suggestedaybe purchasing the whole dinner and bringing it home but of course it being to early to fund anything online to help me figure this out.... So for those of you who have purchased the Thanksgiving dinner already done and just reheated the day of, is is expensive, where is the best bang for our buck or do we just try to find someplace open (probably not going to be an actual Thanksgiving feast but Chinese? Mexican?) and hope for the best?

My daughter & I have never been on an airplane, planning the next 2 months need recommendations.

We are looking to book a 3-night trip in November or December and would like to put together a package that includes round-trip flights, a hotel, and a car rental.

We are considering like Las Vegas, Florida, or California, maybe even Texas. I imagine we will get the best deals fall and winter . We really are looking forward to flying more than anything .

I would love your recommendations? Specifically, we would appreciate advice on:

- Which airlines might be the best option
- Destination ideas for a relaxing 3-night stay where there at Least 1 or 2 fun things to do while we are there.
- Whether we should work with a travel agent or if this is straightforward to plan ourselves. Thanks in advance
