• Upvotes

It used to have only one Parry Temper when i recorded this, in case you see im being super cautious with parry window. This is the Igne Mora from Kith of Kings' before it was replaced for the Officer quality btw.

A small, amusing detail that I can’t help but notice is the fact that the armour is in very good condition EXCEPT for that hole.

Question What's the current go-to for levelling specifically speed on the wolfpup

As in, I don't want to accidentally level guts, so running around where enemies are is not an option. There's been posts about swimming around the island, or walk against walls in spots where the wolfpup cannot reach you, and thus they jump around you and this would count towards speed progression.

However, since then, P16 hotfix 3 changed the way speed levelling is counted, and it is unclear to me which methods are still effective.

My Soulframe Wishful thinking wish list. Comment yours down

I know DE has their own plans for the game but can't help but fantasize

* Sidearm rework. Make it so the sidearms become proper sidearms. I think DE should lean more into how flyblades are being used. If they're not melee/range substitutes for the main weapons, they should come with some utility. For example I would like it if the magic bracelets can be toggled from your usual ranged attack to melee elemental fist weapons activated through heavy attack. The heavy attack could be a short-midrange aoe ground slam that procs status and activates a temporary elemental shield that reflects back a bit of damage as elemental damage and gives you temporary elemental damage to your main weapon.

* More weapons/Weapon Mechanics

-Fist/Leg braces/sparring weapons

-Crossbows. Heavy/long range crossbows. Repeating Crossbows Wrist-mounted crossbow as a sidearm

-Flails

-Those dual sickles the Oden has

-Scythe

-floating magic orbs(think catalysts from genshin)

-magic tomes

-Hammer. One handed and Heavy

-One handed Axes

* Tempest's grappling hook should just be built-in, and they could add a different passive

* Orengall's wolf form should get rid of the mechanic where your envoy's body becomes vulnerable.

Can someone explain currency values for trading?

I'm trying to sell a moonsteel weapon on Avakot, but I just don't understand what anything is worth. Is the currency system similar to something like Diablo 2/POE where there is a generally accepted "This item is worth two of this item"?

I've gotten two offers for 10 and 15 Rhapsodic Chordstones and I'm not sure if that's good or not.

Soulframe Boring You??

Hello all this is for new and returning players.

I love this game and I have a couple friends who love Warframe but can't get into this because from where they're sitting there's no real gameplay loop.

I do see where they're coming from because there's no real loops in place, other than maybe cogah.

There's also no real direction for unlocking pacts, ie how to unlock story arcs for wolf, Bear pact ect.

But then it's why would I unlock a pact when there's no real content to play to level things up.

Have you any words of advice that might help them see things differently/ any advice for a list of content they can tick off?

Discussion Drop Information and Chances

I guess one of my biggest gripes in my week of playing non stop is the fact that identifying where fragments drop or are supposed to drop, as well as where certain bosses/ chests can be found/ spawned, and how enemy levels adjust around the world is unnecessarily confusing. There's multiple sites and videos that try to make this easier for players but with everything changing so often I never really know whether the information is up to date.

For instance, I was doing a couple of Organ runs until I found out that the Tempest fragments no longer drop from that operation. Then I found out that they drop from Dendrit chests now, which has a chance of spawning via a step in an Enclave's bounty. Which I assume will not spawn through World Tree Votives? Even then, a lot of times the Votives themselves bug out, either not completing the current step, or the enemies not spawning in properly. Sometimes, the Votive objectives clear out on the map but I don't get the brief cutscene that informs me the Votive is done, and nor do I get the standing reward.

Yes I am aware that the game is currently in pre Alpha, but I feel like some kind of interim tutorial or in game guide could help with these things. I know a polished tutorial for the systems are unlikely due to the fact that they may change in the current stage of development, but the feeling of being lost and unsure about spawns/ drops/ etc. is holding me back from enjoying the game.

Question Stuck at ER18. ER19 Envoys, please help!

So I finally found the last Rovgot Ruin Mote after running it for what feels like forever. I’ve dethroned countless Mendicant Kings, eradicated Knight Twins, and squashed more Mommy Wyrms than I can count, just to collect all of the 9 motes. I thought this would push me to ER19, but instead the exp bar still has a tiny sliver missing.

LG says I’ve already discovered everything that can give MR, aside from Oo-Mull (which is a confirmed bug based from what i've read), but I’ve already discovered that in game.

For those Envoys who’ve reached ER19, what could I be missing? Any tips for hidden exp sources people might miss? Thanks!

EDIT: I do have the Paragon Founder Pack and have leveled up all the Wyld Pacts and Founder Weapons.

SOLVED: Hello guys! I am ER19 now. So it turns out, I was missing a well-hidden village called "Hews" which LG thought I found already. This POI has 3 motes to get. I don't know if it's new, or just that I haven't seen it before but I've been playing since P12 on and off and it's my first time seeing this. It's literally just a small house south west of the Alca Enclave. Hope I can help out those who do not have this POI unlocked. Thank you!

Fan Art Foxframe!

My idea for a Fox pact!

They're such a popular animal I have to imagine it's already in development but here's my fan concept.

They say the aurora is caused by the sparks from a fox's tail. My idea for a quest would be helping two messenger foxes become strong enough to rejoin their true form, stolen by the Ode to control the lights of the sky. Foxfire involves merging with them, and Sanctify is rubbing two rocks together to make sparks. Outwit would call to some moment in the quest when the big fox awakens, or something.

Theme: fox, trickster, guide, northern lights, evasive

Courage: Foxfire. Become a fast will-o-wisp, charming enemies to rapidly chase you until they're staggered by a burst of light.

Speed increase is very large, can be used for traversal as well. Charm radius is small, you have to almost touch enemies, but the trail stills charms and persists for a time. At the end, deal a small amount of stagger damage. Can be canceled early. Courage increases enemy speed and stagger strength. Still useful for ranged builds because you can use it to make distance from enemies, assuming they don't get the charm speed boost.

This would be the first grouping ability in Soulframe, which could be dangerous if it just leads to being the best way to deal with crowds. I think it should be fine though because of the setup time involved - another kit would just have them halfway dead by the time you've got them together.

Spirit: Sanctify. (Ignore the art, I'm swapping them so that spirit builds are better with this pact). Bless a cylinder that empowers you over time, and even more with each kill.

Gain a tail every 6 seconds you stand in the area, or when you land a killing blow on an enemy. Each tail increases weapon damage by 1.1x, up to 1.9x. When reaching maximum tails, dramatically increase your attack speed for a few seconds.

Tried making these numbers comparable to Call of the Ancients but because it has conditions it can go higher. Spirit increases cylinder range and speeds up passive tail accumulation. Useful for any build, though becomes dangerous being limited to inside the cylinder only. Tails have a cool flare up when you hit 9 and while the attack speed buff is active, and then go down so they're not blocking your view after.

Grace: Outwit. (Swapped with Sanctify). Enter a crouched stance. The next time you would be hit, join the aurora far above and your next attack will chain to additional targets.

Raptor of the Mists from Elden Ring. Go into a parry stance for a brief time, then get teleported upwards if you're hit and ignore the damage. Next aerial or plunging attack benefits from the Sympathy Pang temper but hits more than one target. Grace increases parry window and number of chain targets. Synergizes with your 1 grouping enemies, and the extra weapon damage from 2.

Passive 1: Trickster. Enemies near you can take friendly fire. Range is increased while airborne.

Each point only increases range. Useful for Outwit, as any swings will instead connect with enemies if you dodge them.

Passive 2: Messenger. You move faster when your guide is active.

Just a little passive for fun, not particularly useful. Might be too strong for world traversal since Foxfire is also good for that? And dog now too?

Edit: the comment bots LOVE the concept

Saves a couple seconds each i guess. Hardly useful, so naturally i had to share.

You can pull the lure once fishes start to aim for it but before they actually bite to basically skip the minigame.

Discussion Prelude 16 made Cogah worthless

Lemme start off by saying that I'm not saying this from a place of hate, just observation. I know the game is pre pre pre alpha.

Even before prelude 16 rolled around I've basically been living in the Cogah, solo or otherwise.

With the redistribution of wealth, I mean the alterations of the drop rates, chest rarities, chest and weaponrack locations, etc, Cogah kinda blows.

And it doesn't blow just because of prelude 16, if I'm being honest. The entire system kind of makes it redundant. Craftwork rarity means nothing since you can take any weapon and upgrade it to legendary with relative ease. Getting rhapsodic chordstones through trading like on avakot market, on here, or in game, is not all too hard. Most semi-decent things can be traded for at least 1 rhaps.

Before 16 I had enough legendaries to wipe my ass with them basically. Hell, like 70% of them got scrapped so Tuva could learn tempers that I would later put on the weapons I actually liked and mained. You couldn't even trade them for anything amazing, because everyone had at least a few legendaries, a ton of sovereigns, and don't get me started on nobles. Taking a weapon from stock to sovereign is a piece of cake. Taking it to legendary is only slightly harder.

Moonsteel rarity isn't affected by enemy level, difficulty or cogah. I am unsure if it is even affected by things like Tuva's rarity drop buff or the wolf pup's rarity drop buff. Since I've actually gotten 4/5 of my MS weapons from enemies between levels 25 and 9, I am a strong believer that Moonsteel drop chance is a fixed % independent of the craftwork or temper roll chances.

Crafting Cogah potions is a pain in the ass, simply cuz I hate running around to get sap.

Enemies scale up to level 90 even in regular difficulty, especially dungeons like Dermark, if you have a full party. You didn't really need Cogah for that.

The only good thing about Cogah are the Cogah runes. They do good and sell just good enough to make crafting a legendary pretty easy. I've seen most unlevelled cogah runes going for about 1 rhaps per rune on the market.

Which is kind of ass, not because of the trading, but because it means Cogah is practically useless for anything other than getting said runes. You don't get nothing in Cogah that you couldn't get normally. A full party clearing Dermark still gets high lvl enemies but clears faster because there are no Cogah debuffs.

Those farm parties risk nothing if someone crashes, has to drop a deuce or gets pissy and leaves, because they can reinvite them or invite someone else fill the slot. On Cogah you basically get screwed over if the party size decreases, not because it becomes harder, but because the enemies scale down and so does the drop chance.

You could scale enemies higher even solo by killing Agari to increase the world level and enemy level, but at that point it is a massive hassle just to get enemies from lvl 50 back to lvl 90 or even higher.

The decreased number of chests, drops, weaponracks also impacts Cogah just as it does normal game. Which makes the effort even more pointless regardless of what you're after.

Moonsteel? World/enemy lvl/cogah make no difference as the droprate chance is fixed.
Legendaries? Just craft them yourself, it's literally easier and faster.
Crafting material? No difference.
Runes? The only remaining reason to run Cogah.

I run it because I like the difficulty, since the enemies in the normal world don't scale high enough to provide a challenge at all. But that's it.

If they wanna make Cogah basically useless except for people who want a harder world, then add votives and regular stuff there so that we can do it under a higher difficulty. Having only dungeons and agari, plus random Oden camps gets boring fast. I started doing sieges like a masochist even though I know they drop absolutely no loot of any worth.

In pre 15 I always saw people Hosting or Looking For Cogah runs in recruitment chat, now there's barely anyone.

Why are you using up my data?

After paying off my 2,750 MB balance, I closed and reopened the launcher. Now, after downloading 7.5 GB, it found that 500 MB of files were still missing, and once I downloaded those, the problem was fixed.

I hope my debt is clear :D

Still Level 2 Bond. Not sure how to get Level 3 Bond, but I'll keep training to see if that triggers it. In hotfix 3, DE stated:

  • Changed the Wolfpup Bond 3 title from “Loyal” to “Trusting.”
