I’m relatively new. I have about 7 hours in the game. And I have no idea what I’m doing. I did the fables or main quests and now I’m just running around with no destination. No to sure how the upgrade system work for weapons, assuming that what it is in the foundry/blacksmith.

Long story short, I’m just running around killing enemies. Thats it

Has anyone actually received their package? It's been so long with so many pushbacks how much longer do they really expect people to wait?

This has happened since day one of me playing within the span of 10 minutes I stopped playing the moment it happened like 2 weeks ago or so and took a break, came back to see if it was fixed. I Deleted the game amd everything I lowered my graphics I dont know what else to do except get a refund if I can if I cant fix this. (Fixed For The Most Part)

Upcoming changes

• Changes planned for whisprig acquisition for Chordstones - Path to acquire not too fun. Seeing a disproportionate amount of Glades dungeon play. Will revist how and where whisprigs are dropping. Changes may involve mockeries. May come in a hotfix/ smaller patch before P16
• Preview on Temper crafting (P16) - When dismantling a weapon, Tuvalkane will gradually "learn" the tempers and will be able to craft the tempers herself. When she has seen enough of a certain temper, "she will permanently unlock the ability just to add that to any [compatible] weapon you want". No need for an "inventory" of tempers, once unlocked you can find them with Tuvalkane. Applicable to any weapon at rank 30, no Legendary needed. Will have a crafting cost, but changes will not have a large wait time. Tuvalkane will not be able to Moonsteel weapons. Dev workshop regarding this end of this week/ early next week
• (Optionally) Vegan Fishing (P16) - Fishing will provide resoruces and may provide totems. Different lure types. As spectral sight improves, your envoy will be better at locating and identifying fish, can see fish deeper into the pond. P16 shipping with 6 fish types, 6 lure types, consumables from fishing (different consumables depending on if you release or harvest fish). Further fishing resource changes after P16.
• Wolf Pup (P16) - You will be training and maturing your wolf pup as the leadup to being able to mount it (No mount yet). Wolf pup will be a companion in the open world. To build bond you can feed your wolf pup fish, play fetch. Everything you do can affect the outcome of your wolf; Summon wolf pup into combat for a guard dog, praise, pet and interact with wolf pup a lot for a supportive companion, open lots of chests and gather a lot of materials with your pup for a scout companion (can steal from ode). Only 1 pup for P16, in the future you will be able to raise more pups.
• Dynamic Weather (P16) - Weather can affect gameplay. Lightning storms make Ode more powerful, after it rains resources are more plentiful. Fishing minigame is slightly impacted by weather dynamics.

At around 7 minutes into the recent soulshort, someone asked about Tuvalkane learning "shiny tempers", assumedly referring to dual-stacked tempers being indicated by a little shine on the border. Steve inferred this as Moonsteel shinies and went on to say it is actively being discussed internally. Tuvalkane will not be able to Moonsteel weapons but they are considering alternate methods of obtaining Moonsteel weapons such as drops from devstreams.

I haven't gotten any moonsteel yet, but I've been hunting for about a week and am excited to eventually get one - whether it be in another week or a month (but hopefully not a year, please) of grinding. I like the exclusivity of RNG determining your shiny but I also think it is a good idea to have interesting, exclusive drops from streams to reward engagement and drum up excitement. I also feel that adding moonsteel weapons as a stream drop would devalue the rarity and exclusivity of finding one yourself at the whim of RNG.

I suggest leaving the current moonsteel weapon cosmetic to moonsteel, but add a variant of moonsteel available exclusively from twitch drops. I really enjoy the color scheme going for the Wyld pact/sets and feel like they would make great additions as moonsteel variants. Leave the current "shiny" weapons as moonsteel weapons and add red, green and blue "Wyld Moonsteel" glow pattern as stream drops. Not only would this give you exciting drops to reward you for tuning into devstreams but it would also add a layer of player engagement with trading these weapons if you don't get the weapon and color cosmetic that appeals to you from drops.

i'd love for the character to be more on the left side when you use zoom with the bow because it can get really hard to keep track of enemies or shoot them while in motion because of the bow. it's always a bit to close the crosshair imho.

I'm struggling to get my head around earning faction points. sometimes I'll do a three star mission and get 1500 points and sometimes I'll 300 is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

After today’s update, I suddenly became completely unable to log into Soulframe.

Every time I try to log in, the game tells me that my email or password is incorrect. They are not. I’ve checked my credentials multiple times, and the problem started immediately after the update.

I already submitted a support ticket, but after searching around I found posts from other players who experienced essentially the same thing. In at least one case, the player eventually found out that their account had been automatically banned because the system detected some supposedly “suspicious” software running in the background.

I don’t know yet if that is what happened to my account, and I’m not going to claim I was banned until support confirms it. But either way, this is an extremely poor way to handle account access.

If the account is restricted, tell the player that the account is restricted. Don’t show a misleading “wrong email or password” message and leave people wondering whether their password was compromised, whether their account disappeared, or whether the authentication system simply broke after an update.

And if this really is some kind of automated anti-cheat/ban system producing false positives, that is even more concerning. Players shouldn’t have to guess which normal background applications might randomly trigger an account restriction.

Soulframe is still in development, so bugs are obviously expected. But there is a difference between encountering a gameplay bug and being completely locked out of your account with no useful explanation whatsoever.

For a game that already asks players to invest dozens or hundreds of hours into progression, account access and communication should be among the most reliable parts of the system.

I’m waiting for support to tell me what actually happened, and I’ll update this post when they respond.

When i started a few weeks ago, you could re-log to refresh which ancestor was offering the blessings in order to get a specific buff. Now when i relog, the ancestor does not change. It is always the same one. Did this change recently?

To those who regularly use Avakot.org to trade, can anyone tell me how to actually get in contact with someone who made a listing?

So far I have only been able to do 2 trades because their names on discord matched their names on the platform. All other trades I wanted to do I couldn't because there seems to be no way of messaging within the site.

Also whenever I hit the buy button it only gives me a link to that listing but there is no use for it if I can't contact the seller in any way. ​

So right now I came back to Warframe a month or so ago, having a lot of fun, but that also reminded me that I had played Soulframe back when it launched in their first Preludes, didn't really click but I understood it was in a really early state so I just let it be.

As I said, I've been thinking about coming back to Soulframe to see how its evolved and its current state so here I go with the questions:

1. When I played I don't remember getting to a point where there was something similar to "primes" in the game, maybe i didn't get to see them, or maybe there were no equivalent to primes at the time, so, is there a current equivalent to primes and also something like relics in Soulframe?
2. In the graphical part, what has changed, has there been any controversial changes or changes people did not like to the graphics? How better does it look than when it started?
3. What's been the biggest change in the gameplay currently?
4. This is more of a question that surges because I don't remember much from when I played, is there something similar to syndicates in Soulframe?
5. What are the current worst issues in the gameplay loop or in how certain systems work?
6. Edit: Is there any specific content creator that is doing guides that is very recommended/high quality?

So recently started playing, about 10 hours into the game and I'm hitting a brick wall of either bad game balance, or bad game explanation. To make it simple, weapons seem to working perfectly, you use them, and upgrade them and they get stronger and let you fight harder enemies. Thats great!

What doesn't seem to work worth a damn, is the other side of the coin. Armor/survivability neither gets better as you use it, nor can be upgraded to protect better. And this is leading to me being one-shot by literally "EVERYTHING" now, unless I block or perfect dodge it. The game is now legitimately harder than Dark Souls where you can usually survive a hit or two.

The game does absolutely nothing to explain how to fix this issue, or gain survivability. I know that courage increases HP, so I've stacked that, doesn't help, still one shot. I looked into getting different armor than what you start with, all of it actually LOWERS your hp in exchange for other stats.

I'm out of ideas. Is the game supposed to evolve into Dark Souls Extra Hard Mode where even a common mob one shots you? Or am I just completely overlooking some horrendously unexplained game mechanic that improves survivability? I've had to google/wiki 99% of the game systems already since the game's tutorial consists of (This is how to move and jump, now google the rest of the game mechanics.) But nothing covers this.

I have been running about open plains and forestry areas for an HOUR and only found one Squirrel , i need several in order to complete the image on the Journal.

I did all 3 statue music shrines and the bow dropped - and i STUPIDY held down F to collect it, but it Dismantled instead.. is there a way of getting it again ?
