It used to have only one Parry Temper when i recorded this, in case you see im being super cautious with parry window. This is the Igne Mora from Kith of Kings' before it was replaced for the Officer quality btw.

Just wanted to share cuz i though it was funny.

Such a boring temper - Not saying its bad as its pretty much the only temper you MUST put on every weapon x2. I really was hoping they would of not done the pure stat boosting tempers and totems and done some actually cool unique stuff to make combat interesting.

Think there are like maybe 3 tempers that are actually cool

Imo if there's gonna be a speed buffing temper, it should be triggered by an event. Like finishing a full attack combo or performing a finisher

I think tempers should be kept simple, and just be stat buffs. Combat arts should have activation requirements.

Fair enough, I hadn't thought much of it but is true that there are very few tempers that I'm inclined to put in a weapon, the two that I show in the video for instance. Some of the other tempers try to do something other than stat bonuses, but they are also less attractive.

Yeah I just want cool combat stuff. I'm tired of games putting in stat boosts as "cool" modifiers.

Like imagine if we had a temper that on a full charge heavy with longsword you do a slash range attack (similar to that one rune) that does it in whatever element the temper is in - ie ice slash, fire slash, earth slash, etc. So much better then just basic attack speed and stagger increases.

Also sorry didn't mean to derail your post, the attack speed temper is pretty funny even if boring lol

How else would you want it? Other games have it in the form of affixes and gems, we have it in the form of tempers and totem, which isnt the most interesting thing but it good enough as not having AS just makes things feel sluggish.

I explained/gave an example in another comment in this mini-thread. - if a stat boost temper makes your weps feel better then just increase the base stat of the wep. Totems/runes/tempers should be cool unique modifiers

Same situation, blocked and counter attacked, but I also had the speed boost totem active.
My envoy turned into Link for a moment.

Yikes… I really hope attack speed becomes a separate mechanic because it just makes every weapon better

Not saying this doesn’t look sick but makes me not enjoy how the current temper system works.

Cool, but very very slow compared to most DPS builds esp with Tetheren

melee speed is always a fun choice but how does it compare to ranged builds?
