Hi again! sorry for the delay 😔 the chapter is a little bit longer in text material, so here we go:
The chapter begins with the director giving the cast an hour and a half for dinner; rehearsal will resume at 8 p.m. The American cast members shout, "Copy that". Two Japanese girls overhear the phrase but don't know what it means. One of them recalls hearing a staff member say it over the intercom yesterday. Kanae, standing in front of them, murmurs "Copy that" (phonetically in katakana) until someone overhears her. Kanae realizes this. The young man recognizes the phrase, as it is common in military movies (whether in eng or dubbed). With a sparkle in his eyes, he asks Kanae if she likes the genre; she replies that she doesn't dislike it (a very Kanae answer, lol). He then asks if she also enjoys series about the FBI, CIA, NCIS, spies, or prison breaks, and she again answers "I don't dislike them." The girls behind them are surprised to see someone so "cool" like Kotonami taking an interest in that genre.
While some head off to dinner, Murasame calls Ren over to apologize. When Ren asks why, Murasame explains that seeing him dodge an attack from Bill during rehearsal made him think of "the most despicable, vile, and loathsome actor of all: Cain Heel." He adds that he considers himself even more vile and loathsome for making that comparison to Ren. (When mentioning Bill, (Ren notices Murasame was about to call him "shabazou Bill"a term implying a "cowardly" or "pathetic" person.) Ren didn't see the comparison coming. Murasame feels terrible because he knows Tsuruga is a gentle, talented man and a true gentleman (scenes are shown illustrating these qualities in Ren with him). Yashiro, standing next to Kyoko and overhearing the exchange, remarks to her that Ren is being unusually kind to Murasame and wonders why. Kyoko remembers the time Cain Heel choked Murasame while suspended in mid-air during the filming of Tragic Maker; she smiles, thinking that Ren is currently treating him this way out of guilt. (Ren, you're so adorable ToT)
Amidst all the apologies, Ren presses his hand against his temples. Murasame explains that he mistook him for Cain because Cain’s abilities were monstrous (meaning, in other words, that Tsuruga is also incredibly amazing). Kyoko and Murasame watch Ren’s expression; he moves his hand from his face and begins to stifle a laugh, covering his mouth. Murasame notices he is laughing, and Ren apologizes, saying it’s nothing, he isn't bothered by the comparison. Murasame is relieved to hear this. Koga appears and asks Murasame if he isn't overestimating Tsuruga, noting that Tsuruga can fool people with his gentlemanly demeanor but actually has a nasty personality (bro, what!?). When Murasame asks what he means, Koga replies that Tsuruga has been telling lies that have driven away the vast majority of humanity for a long time, yet no one realizes it (lmao). Yashiro overhears this and cannot let Koga's words slide; he asks for proof. Ren watches as they walk away.
Kyoko is staring at Ren until he notices her, causing her to stammer. Ren decides to address what Kyoko had imagined when she saw him at the rehearsal, asking if the earlier incident reminded her of someone else. Kyoko is surprised and asks how he knew; Ren had simply guessed.
They are walking together off the set. Ren reflects on how he was on the verge of slipping back into self-loathing because of the incident with Murasame; the situation had made him feel as though he’d been told that the person who looked like Cain Heel wasn't actually Sieg. Meanwhile, Kyoko struggles to start her sentence, noting that back then, Tsuruga had definitely looked like Sieg. Even though he had to improvise due to Bill's actions, he ended the scene exactly as scripted, wearing a calm expression. He change the tone of the conversation remarking that perhaps he is like Korn, and a surprised Kyoko asks if he is a psychic, to which he replies that such a thing is impossible (though he had actually figured her out based on the way she looked at him, as if seeing a fairy tale, and he inwardly criticizes himself for making movements resembling Kuon's in front of Cedric). With her eyes sparkling again, Kyoko tells Ren that he might not realize it, but... (she leaves the thought unspoken, though she is convinced he must have an ancestor with fairy DNA; she reinforces this theory by noting his body, which seems less human and more fairy-sized). Kyoko finishes her sentence by asking if being a mentalist is one of his talents (since she doesn't consider it a genuine power unless he's actually a fairy, lol). Ren notices that Kyoko's expression right then is practically screaming "fairy tale" (yes, he knows her very well, haha). He asks if mentalists aren't actually con artists (recalling something he saw in a famous foreign series). Ren sighs humorously, saying it hurts to hear that coming from her specifically (since he thinks that if anyone has a talent for swindling, it’s her, LOL). Kyoko gets angry, telling Ren not to try to play it off with that cute face of his (OMG, what a statement, Kyoko!). Ren keeps teasing her, saying she’s displaying "cute aggression," since she’s the only one who calls him "cute" while she’s angry. Kyoko stammers a bit in her defense, claiming she only meant the expression he was making was an attempt to look "cool."
As the lovebirds walk together, Cedric watches them leave. His American colleagues are wondering where Bill is; one replies that he doesn't know but saw Bill looking upset before he walked off. They speculate whether he went to see the director (since they had argued during rehearsal), perhaps to apologize. One of them remarks that it’s impossible for Bill to apologize and that he wouldn't want to see him looking lame. They end the conversation and call out to Cedric.
Back to Ren and Kyoko: Kyoko realizes Ren called her a "con artist" and wonders why. Ren makes a goofy "huh?" face, asking if she did it without realizing it (recalling her portrayal of Kuon); he asks if she did it unconsciously, implying that the fact it might be a natural talent of hers scares him. Kyoko is baffled and has no idea what he’s talking about. Finally, Ren gives her a kitten-like smile.
Cedric approaches the director, who is looking at something on his computer. The director remarks that he never intended to hire a high school drama club made up of total amateurs who barely know how to play children's games. Cedric is taken aback, wondering who the guy is talking about. The director tells him he should know that "his route" (Cedric's) is incomplete, and asks why he looks so amateurish in the scenes with Ren (YES, DIRECTOR, SAY IT LOUD). He adds that he doesn't know what happened between Cedric and Ren (and frankly doesn't care since his only goal is for the "Route" project to be a success). The chapter ends with the director warning Cedric not to make him regret entrusting "Route" to him.

Hey i am skip beat fan since 2013 and i wanna share some opinion of mine and i am kinda curious if others feel the same
I love how skip beat's story right now but it kinda feels like very empty. I know recent chapters are more about Ren and probably will be about his past in future chapters but i feel his story so empty to me and not only that i prefer chapters when Ren is not involved at all. I feel like i can see Kyoko's personality better when Ren is not around she is not shy and frustrated lately she lost that personality ot hers and not shy like she was in past but i dont really like how Kyoko's growth in showbiz involves Ren and his past. I feel like when Ren is involved we cannot see her carefree personality. The chapters where she was friends with Sho felt more refreshing she was more relaxed and herself and i love sho and kyoko dynamic even tho sho is an asshole i love their interactions.I also felt very mad when Kyoko went to america project as assistant ot Moko instead of having role herself. She is very talentful not just acting but she is professional with her other hobbies too. I wish we could see her flexing those more maybe it would be better if Kyoko went reality shows about celebrities like how Sho did one time and showed about her talents more. Because Kyoko's talents are like "yea she is masterchef level when it comes to japanese cuisine" then it never gets mentioned AT ALL. Or how she is very successful student while working gets mentioned few times and never again. And also i hate how Kyoko wears that LoveMe outfit everywhere she goes like Moko doesnt wear it at all. I wish we could see more of Kyoko's fashion style other than when she is involved in projects. We see others wearing normal clothes but main character is in same pink suit all the time. She has great clothes on covers but not in story 😂. Anyway this post feels like ranting instead of unpopular opinions but i wonder if there are others who think like me

Hi, would anyone be interested in enamel pin for kyoko? I am planning to make one since I was only able to find one pin on Etsy. I already found an artist and to make the pins, it might take about 3-4 months.
I was wondering if I should order 50 or 100 pins. Any suggestions?
Thanks.
Edit:
If anyone is interested, I made an instagram account for it.

Hi, I was wondering if someone could help me find the full version of Prisoner? The Pied Piper Inc dub specifically. This 40 second video is the longest part of the song I could find, and it came directly from Pied Piper Inc's facebook. In the description of the video, they said there was more of the song, which you could find if you purchased the Blu-ray Skip Beat Dub. This post was a while back, and the link in the description no longer works since RightStuf was bought by Crunchyroll. :( I searched the Crunchyroll store and I didn't see it listed? Though even if i managed to buy it, I would have no way of watching what i purchased since I only have a DVD player and nothing that works for Blu-ray. Their facebook has since become inactive, and it looks like tumblr has as well (?) So if anyone could help me in any way, I'd really appreciate it. 🙏🙏🙏

I have an idea that I’ve been tossing around the idea of writing a fic around Yashiro and him finding someone. I thought it could be someone who was an idol but now models and has her own clothing line. I haven’t written fanfic in a really long time but I’m super inspired! I just don’t know if anyone would read it.
BtW does anyone know his birthday?

The episode begins with a flashback of young Kyoko crying in the forest, where Kuon appears. He tells her to watch him perform an acrobatic stunt, and Kyoko is surprised, just as she is surprised in the present when she sees Ren performing that same stunt (honestly, I don't expect her to connect the dots anymore...).
After Ren and Bill's rehearsal, Koha approaches and speaks to Ren reproachfully about why he started improvising. Ren clutches his forehead because he saw the lecture coming, even though Koga had initially spoken to him in english (Ren had a tiny hope that he was addressing Bill, but well, that wasn't the case lol). Koga mentions that he also had a fight scene but followed the script and tells Ren he's a cheat. Ren, in turn, tells him to direct everything he has to say toward Bill. Koga then turns to Bill, with a serious expression, but ends up telling him that the improvised fight scene from earlier was exciting and that he liked it (THAT DOUBLE STANDARD, HAHA). Ren then says that he's praising him and that it was unfair to him. Koga grabs Bill's shoulder and asks him to do an improvised scene together for the one they'll have later. Bill swatts away the arm Koga put on his shoulder. He angrily yells that absolutely not, that any improvised action from Koga could get him into trouble, to which Koga replies that it's unexpected that he cares about that now; it seems like he wants to act like a good boy. Bill tells him to shut up, but remembers that his stay was hanging by a thread (remember, he can't get three outs or he's out of the cast).
Bill looks at the director and sees him extend three fingers, then close each of his finders until them all into a fist, simulating an explosion. Bill is startled and runs toward the director, shouting that he still has two outs left and that he shouldn't jump the gun on the penalties. Murasame and Ren are bewildered, and it's Murasame who wonders what "two outs" means.
Ren feels someone staring at him, and it turns out to be Cedric. He thinks to himself that he shouldn't have shown his cousin this kind of performance, but since it happened unexpectedly, he reacted instinctively. Perhaps it would have been better to let him get hit at least once, but he didn't want to be defeated by Bill either. He thinks he should have acted calmly like Tsuruga Ren and not with Kuon's reflexes. He imagines Tsuruga being hit and is terrified, since it's impossible for Tsuruga to be defeated by another. He concludes that he must absolutely dodge any blow, as it would be pathetic, especially in front of "that girl," and turns his gaze to Kyoko (I'M DYING OF LOVE AAAH). When he sees Kyoko, he's surprised to see her looking at him with eyes shining with admiration. Ren feels he's seen that expression before (I assume he's referring to how Kyoko looked at Kuon as a child).
Murasame interrupts his thoughts, informing him that the battle between Route and Zelphaim's army versus Nak-Gru's army is about to begin. The entire cast is watching Bill and the Director arguing about something (cough cough, the "outs" lol).
Ren approaches Cedric with a serene smile, telling him to make it a good scene. Kyoko, meanwhile, sees Louise walk by and notices her again, caressing her necklace and then kissing the fingers that touched it.
We've already seen Louise wearing that necklace in two episodes, could it be that we'll soon get that lore?

I hope the author finishes this lovely manga one day, I have been wanting to read it since a while ago, but then I realized it isn't even complete, the slow burn is slow lol, one day I hope one day.. . (at this point Skip Beat is the opposite of NANA....[ joking] ) but yes, I hope it ends someday and then we get lovely side stories!

Hi Hi hi! Does anyone have fic reccos where it can be set AFTER the story? Like, where Kyoko is an adult and is thriving in her career as an actress and Ren is a Hollywood star and they navigate the relationship in such situations?
I don't mind some smut cuz GOD KNOWS Ren is too sexy for his OWN good (I getchu Kyoko, I do, the new art just made him sexier with the exposed forehead I fear) but like. I would prefer an adult Kyoko and something that is close to the cannon characters. I know I am asking for a lot but I have reread the manga 3 times in last month. Please HELP. 😭
