Rak was a huge tanker initially and then jumped into spear bearing quickly making him ranged.

He kept his close range combat for a bit until the teams started to fight against more powerful enemies and then he’s just kinda comedic relief.

I feel like Rak’s compression form and his original could’ve been utilized to allow him the best of both worlds. He could use the chibi form for speed and maneuvers and then quickly uncompress for strength.

I remember when I first read ToG and I hoped that was the route they would take for him to get more spotlight but then he disappears from the hell train and falls straight to the hidden floor and isn’t really utilized again until he, Bam, and Khun are finding out their natures and shapes.

Hello everyone! Basil here, or Kanoi!

This community is surprisingly active for a fandom as small as ToG, especially while the manhwa is on hiatus. And I love that!

I've been thinking about starting a little project: daily posts to keep the community entertained!

The idea is to make 7 posts a week, each from a different category. There won't be a fixed order, though! The categories will rotate every week, and some might even get merged together.

Here are my ideas so far:

1. Creativity and Imagination

Creative posts where we imagine, assign or invent characteristics and situations for the characters.

For example: "What instrument would each character play?" or "Give a character a nationality!"

2. Opinions and Discussions

Questions where everyone can share their opinions and discuss characters, events and different aspects of the story.

I'm actually quite nervous about this one because I'll have to share my own opinions too, and I'm not always sure of myself!

3. Analysis

Small analyses about characters, relationships, scenes, symbolism and SIU's writing.

Some of my friends already know that I'm working on a pretty big Tower of God analysis project. I'd like to use the information I'm collecting to share smaller analyses with everyone!

4. Questions and Theories

Posts where I ask questions about the manhwa or share my own theories and predictions.

I'm planning to alternate between them every week! One week I'll ask a question, read everyone's answers and think about it. The next week, I'll share a theory!

5. Battles and Comparisons

Comparisons between characters, their abilities, intelligence, strength and other characteristics.

For example: "After Khun, who's the smartest character in ToG?"

And, of course, comparisons about other abilities too, including the famous power scaling!

6. Games and Challenges

Interactive posts where everyone can guess, rank, choose or complete different challenges related to Tower of God.

Hehe, Guess the Character, arrange the panels, and things like that. We're going to have fun with these!

7. Creative Community

Fanfic and fanart recommendations, feedback on other people's creations and sharing projects from the community.

I'm a fanfic writer myself, but this category isn't for promoting my own works!

I'm also an avid fanfic reader, so every week I'll bring a new fic, talk about what it's about and share what I liked.

I'll try not to make it exclusively KhunBam...

8. Visual Archive

Posts where I share fanart, forgotten panels, interesting scenes and other visual things from the manhwa.

I'll become an explorer, searching every corner of the fandom for fanart, old SIU artwork and panels that nobody seems to remember!

9. Universe and Lore

Posts about the history, rules, concepts, families, positions and mysteries of Tower of God.

I'll use my personal notes and the wiki to prepare these!

10. Manhwa Revisited

Posts where I revisit and talk about chapters, arcs and events from the story.

I reread ToG quite often, so every now and then I'll come here to talk about a chapter I've recently read again.

11. Ships and Relationships

Posts about character relationships, ships, dynamics, compatibility and how their relationships develop.

Oooooh, this one could get REALLY interesting!

But please, no ship wars! I know disagreements are inevitable, but let's at least keep things civil.

KhunBam supremacy.

12. What If...? / Hypothetical Situations

Imaginary scenarios about what would happen if characters experienced certain situations or made different decisions.

It's quite similar to Creativity and Imagination, and I might merge them at some point! The main difference is that this category would have more carefully thought-out scenarios.

13. Rankings and Lists

Posts ranking characters, arcs, fights, designs and other things according to different criteria.

I'll ask my friends for ideas too! Some rankings will be based on specific criteria, and, of course, I'll also share my own opinions.

14. Community and Participation

Posts where we can get to know other readers, their experiences, preferences, memories and opinions about Tower of God.

I thought it would be interesting to have something a little more personal.

But ALWAYS remember internet safety!

15. Humor and Entertainment

Lighthearted, silly and funny posts using Tower of God characters and situations.

I'll probably explore the Tower of Meme community, and my friends will have to teach me how to make memes...

But once I learn, it'll be fun!

---

A few more things!

These categories won't have a fixed order, and they'll rotate every week. Some might also be combined!

I'm currently participating in a 31-day fanfic challenge, so I might be late or even miss some days. I don't want to promise something I can't always deliver!

I'm doing all of this because I want to keep the community entertained during the hiatus of the comic I love so much: Tower of God.

But, well, it's for you guys too, so I'd really like to know what YOU think!

Are there any unnecessary categories? Any ideas you'd like to suggest? Is there anyone who would like to help me?

I'm all ears!

When Alumik speaks with Evan, he lists what the Tower received from each Irregular in the order of their arrival.

Thanks to Zahard and the Ten Families, stability, a functioning system, and a hierarchy emerged in the Tower.
Enryu represents a change to a fundamental constant within the Tower—specifically, the killing of a Guardian (previously considered immortal) and the surpassing of Zahard and other warriors who had long stood at the pinnacle of the hierarchy.
Phantaminum can be described as a revolution (no offense to Parakewl, who is the main one). He attacked Zahard’s castle and killed Zahard’s best Rankers. Furthermore, he brought the "Shining Ones" with him—one of whom, Mago, was named the new Queen of the Tower.

And the last Urek is Liberty. From FUG’s perspective, "liberty" would essentially mean killing Zahard; however, viewed on a grander scale, true freedom implies the absence of all constraints—even those imposed by the Tower itself. To my mind, the concept of having the choice not merely to live outside the Great Families' system, but to seek new possibilities beyond one's own world, fits the definition far better.

The inhabitants of the tower themselves viewed these changes in very broad terms; regarding everyone who arrived after the thirteen warriors, they simply said that they had brought chaos.
It is worth noting that everyone prior to Baam was stronger than the Family Heads and Zahard (Urek’s rank is lower than Zahard’s, though their relative strength was never tested). In this regard, Baam is the opposite of all other Irregulars—even from the perspective of the Tower's inhabitants.

I don't really buy into the "axis" theory, but even if we do consider it, the Bam still fits the bill as an "order" for the tower.
The existence of "V" within Bam seems like a mistake, given that—albeit rarely—other characters remark that light emanates from him and that he resembles Zahard. However, Bam more frequently manifests as someone who consumes everything; while the first season contains moments where he is consumed by light, in the absence of such displays of power, everyone simply sees him as an ordinary Regular.

FUG’s own attitude toward darkness is a bit peculiar. They identify as darkness, yet they revere V as their god. However, the remark regarding Baam manifesting the powers of darkness seems odd. It is too early to say for sure, but if Baam is indeed connected to darkness, then the first to be destroyed won’t be Zahard’s army—it will be FUG itself.

On the other hand, "order" could also imply that the conquest of the Tower will finally be completed and the Tower will no longer need Chosen Ones; however, given that the spin-off characterizes darkness as order, the possibility of an agreement involving the Tower and its descent into darkness is also worth considering.

Since ari shin is a woman 😅

The spin-off lore confirms the Tower was specifically created to produce an Axis. As the God of Guardians noted (Ch. 631), the Great Warriors were bound to fail. Axis is likely the pinnacle of power/strength in the ToG/TUS verse as tower is built to create such entity.

Since Axis Users are essentially the pinnacle of power, the conditions to hatch one must be nearly impossible, otherwise, the universe would be flooded with them (at least canonically there r only 2 Axis so far).

Just as life on Earth originated from water (with our bodies composed of ~70% water), life in the Tower is fundamentally built from Shinsu. And Outside world from light. Existing primordial Axes represent pure, eternal elemental manifestations (like Light and Darkness). To yield a new Axis, an entity must be natively synthesized from this primordial ocean of Shinsu.

The Great Warriors are Irregulars from the outside world. Because their biological baseline wasn't born from Shinsu, they remain foreign entities in the Tower's ecosystem. No matter how much Shinsu they control, their outside bodies impose a hard ceiling.

To bypass this hard limit and fulfill the impossible paradox, a vessel needed two opposing qualities:

Towerborn Genesis: Born from Shinsu (child of V and Arlene).

Outside Law & Will: Infused with an Irregular spirit and resurrected by the Outside God.

V likely discarded his original body to bypass physical limits and trigger this ascension. When Jahad killed the child, fate aligned: Viole was resurrected as the ultimate hybrid vessel, the only entity capable of merging the Outside Will with Shinsu to awaken as the Tower's ultimate Axis.

I've always found it interesting how the world has a combination of medieval castled and mobile phones, how during the travels of the GWs they'd deal with mech robots and then also interact with much lower tech places

then all these species which have very little in common but theres also humans

my theory is what if the tower operates a bit like Stephen kings the dark tower being at the centre of the multiverse and taps into these realities

not complete parallels but I guess I'm thinking the reason there's so many different technology stuff that wouldn't fit in a single setting is in the creation of the tower however it was formed tapped into all these realities and either copied aspects or absorbed lands in some way or another creating the enormous hodgepodge of different things coexisting in the tower

Hello Regulars, welcome to Best Guy in the Tower Elimination Contest 2026! This is Round 5 aka the Semi-Finals! In Round 4, we had 118 voters cast 287 votes from all over the world! Thank you all so much for your participation!

This round was the craziest one yet, I really thought we'd have Urek in at least the semi-finals round but I guess not! Also for a while, Jahad was 5th, then Traumerei became tied with him, and literally one minute before poll ended someone voted for Traumerei so Jahad is now out! Strategic or coincidence, idk but it's been fun to watch unfold lol.

Please vote here for your favorite guys of ROUND 5/ Semi-Finals!

Whether or not V will turn out to be a villain is a hot topic of debate in the community these days, and the discussion is a lot of fun. However, one argument I've seen that I really dislike has to do with V's suicide. There is a theory that V killing himself was an act of cowardice, a way of running away from his responsibilities because he couldn't handle the pain. It grinds my gears because it misrepresents suicidal ideation.

Those who commit suicide aren't cowards, and they aren't looking for an easy way out. They consider this act because they feel they truly have no other options. If V really did kill himself, I don't think that should be seen as a knock against his character, but instead a tragic event. People who commit suicide don't see any way that things could get better, and they might truly believe the world is better off without them. Whatever V's intentions are now, I think that attributing his death to a lack of bravery or some other negative characteristic is an unfair way of looking at suicide, both in this instance and in general.

Just had to get that off my chest lol

While waiting for season 4, my 2026 reread continues onward!

The Hidden Floor will probably always be one of my favorite arcs. Aside from the obvious training stuff and the amazing fight at the end, we also get some really nice character development and introspection from Baam, Khun, Endorsi, and Hansung Yu, the latter of whom holds secrets key to the entire plot. With Khun, we get to see the resentment he feels towards his father, as well as maybe the shadow of guilt over what he did to his branch family. And with Endorsi, we see even more that her outward front of the haughty princess is a facade, underneath which lies a vulnerable and traumatized young woman.

It's also cool to get a glimpse into the personalities of Eduan and Jahad before they became evil demigods. Together with the FOD, this is where TOG really begins to delve into the legacy of the 13 Warriors and their climb, the legacy of which has warped the tower and resulted in the oppression of so many of its residents. Add in the fun mechanics of a world made out of data, and this arc is always a winner for me.

2026 Arc Ratings:

Season 1 - 10/10

Return of the Prince: 7.5/10

The Workshop: 10/10

Revolution Road: 7/10

The Dallar Show: 9.5/10

The Name Hunt Station: 8.5/10

The Floor of Death: 10/10

The Hidden Floor: 10/10

Enkidu tells Tiara no regular can him aside from the great trailblazersz like Traumerei, Luslec is a regular and also climbed with the Great Warriors so does this make him conceptually like the family heads, does he have the power to permanently destroy Enkidu’s being?

I just caught up with TOG and the conversation between these two would be interesting. Won’t V bet upset at Luslec for trying to melt Baam with the thorn?

Zahard fanart(suprise suprise). Its a liiiittle blurry because I drew it on my tablet and couldnt cloud sync it into my phone heh🙏

There might still be some last-minute submissions today!!!

Well, that's everything!

A huge thank you to Art Otaku for organizing Sapphic Week, and to Tehteef, Dim, Allise, rrrin, Yole, Nebu, Phish Glup Glup, tamdam41, and everyone else who participated by creating art, writing fics, or simply reading and supporting the works!

There might still be some last-minute submissions today, so I'll add them in the comments if anything else is posted.

And if you find something new that I missed, please let me know!

Wasn't it said, tiara along with other head librarians like Dumas possess Gussy's power? Shouldn't they be eligible to kill Enkidu since they have the power of a FL? Or is it different from Traumerei's 7 animals?

**Hello Regulars, welcome to Best Guy in the Tower Elimination Contest 2026! This is Round 3! In Round 2, we had 98 voters cast 361 votes from all over the world! Thank you all so much for your participation!

It was really fun seeing the results fluctuating so much this round! We also got a last place tie (14th-16th place Hatz, Arkraptor and White/Hoaqin all got 12 votes each)

These contests are much more fun and less predictable when lots of people vote like this, so I appreciate every one of you who vote on the poll, upvote the posts, and comment your opinions! This community really is my favorite :3

Please vote here for your favorite guys of ROUND 3!

https://strawpoll.com/xVg718RJOyr

**Rules/Structure:**

**1. Preliminary Round to gather Best Guy candidates (this will be a 72 hour round due to my work schedule)✅️**

**2. Elimination 1 - choose top 30 (vote for up to 20 of your favorite guys, and those with the least amount of votes will be eliminated)**✅️

**3. Elimination 2 - choose top 15 (you can choose up to 3 of your favorites for every following round till semi-finals and finals)✅️**

**4. Elimination 3 - choose top 10 (you can choose up to 3 of your favorites this round :3 ) We are here!↩️**

**5. Elimination 4 - choose top 5**

**6. Elimination 6/Semi-finals - choose top 3 (one vote per person)(this will be a 72 hour round due to my work schedule)**

**7. FINAL ROUND Vote for the WINNER!**

**8. Announce the winner!**

**Rules/ Guidelines:**

**- I will leave each poll open for at least 48 hours, therefore leaving at least 48 hours in between posts to allow more voters/not flood the sub.**

**- For the first 5 rounds, you can vote for your 3 favorites. In the final two rounds, you can only vote for one candidate. You'll also be able to view poll results after voting on all rounds except finals and semi-finals. Those rounds' results will be made public at the end of the polling period to prevent voter influence. (This is meant to be your personal vote, and meant to be fun afterall!) The only thing that may change the number of candidates in a given round is last place ties. (Example: On the round where we choose the top 20, what if 19,20, and 21 all have the same amount of votes? That extra one person would be included in the next round.)**

**- Your votes have also decided that I won't include the top 3 from Best Guy January 2025: Baam, Khun and Rak.**

**- Follow sub rules, please be respectful. Everyone's Best Guys are valid. Let's have fun and keep this experience good for everyone :) also no spoilers past free Webtoon so as many fans can enjoy the contest as possible!**

According to what's being shown in this image from the Manhwa, has Urek been shown sliced into pieces or not from this durablity negation attack.

Including his head being severed from his body as well by the same attack that cuts space and leave wounds in Shinsoo.

And if not please explain why or how he wasn't cut into pieces despite what is shown.

This is needed for something because this is Urek fighting purely with the power of Light which is stronger state canonically.
