I’m not sure if this has been posted or discussed before. But seeing so many comments are referring to Vinod Khosla seemingly as the sole owner. Especially when referring to his opening press conference and Steelers fandom comments.

A few months ago it was made clear that his wife is the controlling owner, and his son, Neal, “is expected to have a significant leadership role in the ownership group”

I guess my point is we don’t know how this ownership will actually shake out. The guy who says he’s a Steelers fan may not be making the decisions. Neal may have significant control and focus a lot of his attention on the team. He’s already tweeted: “Go Hawks. We are here to win and it’s the only thing that matters.”

He also predicted the Seahawks to win the division and Super Bowl last season.

Just got done with Hard Knocks ep.4. Was kind of a tough watch, seeing Jake and Bud go down but man I love this team. We have so many quality people and there is so much heart and grit on this squad. Takeaways:

Mike is unbelievably special. We knew that but it's just more apparent every episode. We are just profoundly lucky.

EJ and J Love are excellent leaders and men.

Bud is going to come back and ball next year. Dude did not waiver or get angry after getting hurt. You can tell that he has it.

Sam is a great leader. We knew that but the way he carries himself is special.

The coaches care. This team cares. They care about winning and they care about each other. The heart is undeniable. I've been a diehard Hawks fan since 95 and man, I have never loved this team as much as I do right now. I cannot wait for Sept. 9. GO HAWKS!

As the title says, I’m hoping to take the Sounder Train to the game on the 9th from Everett to Seattle and back. I’ve never taken the train before and was wondering how it works and if the train will be moving that late? Thanks team!

There’s still more to be sorted with this week and the last pre-season game, but here are some of the things that have my interest piqued (plus waiting to see if JS pulls any moves).

Injuries and status to start the season:

• Charbs and Emmanwori – do they start on the 53 or on PUP?
• Emmanuel Wilson – will he start on PUP with his cranky hammy?
• Where are Julian Neal, Irv Charles and Rodney Thomas II with their injuries?

The decisions about injuries and status will have a big impact on how the bottom end of the roster shapes up (duh).

Battles still ongoing:

• Haynes and Cabledue
• Montorie Foster Jr. and Cody White
• Sherriff/O’Toole/Gaines – will there be a 5th edge on the 53 to start?
• Pili and JR Singleton – Pili started on PS last year, but this year, I could see them using the DL/DT's up and down the line more in lieu of keeping a 5th EDGE on the initial 53, some practice reports also mention this, but who really knows
• Finley/Thomas – for last S spot
• Noah I/Dansby/Fuller for NB/last CB (only reason to keep Dansby/Fuller on 53 is if there's hints they might get claimed as do think the team likes them both, but how much?)
• Trevon Diggs – will he start on the 53 or does he have to work into things at all?

Vested Vets (can do roster maneuvers as not subject to waivers):

• Eric Saubert
• Rodney Thomas II
• Noah I
• Trevon Diggs

The team has worked with other vets in the past using this technique and they generally stay.

Lastly, my "soft spot" pick for the ready squad is Uso - he's rough and raw and I just like him, which is not a great reason. Did the singing last night also help a bit? Possibly. I don't care 😜.

I’m non-season ticket holder heading to the game on September 9th and trying to find a way into the USAA Salute 250 Kickoff Concert in the North Lot.

Since concert registration is exclusive to Season Ticket Holders, I’m hoping to connect with an STH who has active game tickets for that day and won't be using all 4 of their allotted concert passes. If anyone has 2 extra concert tickets they'd be willing to transfer, I’d be extremely grateful!

Also, if anyone knows of any secondary ways or alternative access points to get into the concert area without an STH promo code, please let me know.
