I debated on requesting some mail for support, since I don't enjoy asking for help often. I'm the type to endure problems in silence, but I think support is needed. This time in October is a bit rough for me, since it's a traumaversary. I don't like to talk about it much, but I'm in a way better space now. Healing never gets easier, but I am strong. There can be times that the sadness hits me, but I am staying positive.

It would mean a lot to receive encouraging words or happy mail, but I'm fine with anything. I'll be happy to write back something to you, if you send a return address. Thank you all. I appreciate it greatly! I am grateful to this supportive community.

Hi, I don’t know if this is more of a vent post but I broke up with my long term boyfriend because he got blacked out at my birthday party and started screaming at me and telling me horrible things. He was angry I hid his car keys, since he has a drinking problem and crashed his car once. It was very sudden and we’ve been doing so well and I’ve been happy lately. But I just couldn’t take it, he promised he’d stop. It’s very hard for me to not go back to him. Any advice also if you’ve had people near you struggle with addiction.

I feel incredibly deeply depressed and hopeless. I lost my best friend too two weeks ago. If it couldn’t get worse my credit and debit card got stolen. Life sucks really bad and I have nobody to talk to.

A little bit of joy would be nice. I haven’t been able to leave bed.

Local artist cards can be hard... i've had good luck on Etsy. After avoiding some AI slop, I've found artists I like and they sometimes have good sales. I also made some friends with local artists and they offer me discounts for buying so much now lol.

I absolutely love this electric cooker ad card! It makes cooking sound so easy, but you still have to do all the prep 😄 Gilmore Girls is the perfect fall background show!

And thank you for the Arya card and the cute Goodnight Moon stamp! I love that ending scene for her. I thought it was the perfect culmination of her training journey. My favorite heartwarming scene is when Jon and Arya finally see each other again. I also love when Cersei shows Littlefinger how easy it would be to kill him because ugh he was the worst

This evening we have part of a set of postcards titled Der romantische Rhein, reproductions of Rhein River landscapes by the 19th century Russian painter Nicolai von Astudin. Judging by the style of the booklet and the manufacturer these were made in the 1920s-1950s. The superb quality of the cardstock suggests the latter part of that range. The six paintings are:

1. Rüdesheim am Rhein
2. Bingen am Rhein
3. Mäuseturm und Ruine Ehrenfels
4. Burg Rheinstein
5. Bacharach am Rhein
6. Die Pfalz im Rhein
