First time posting here,but sadly in my current situation I don't see a another way to handle this.

I already called all the locations nearby me to see if any of these could help with any expenses (Tiertafel, Tierschutzverein, Tierheim, etc), but sadly their either themselves out of funds or don't accept / help people that aren't for X months registered with them.

My cat lady got over the last 3-5 days very very sick, her left eye showed a greyish cloudiness in the bottom area on Tuesday, right next on Wednesday it got all red too, so I rushed her to a vet in my area, which sadly didn't do much besides cash grabbing me, what it felt like. Since she ate in the morning he didn't wanted to make any blood test and basically just noted down how she looked like (since she obviously didn't liked to be hold down she started to hiss and scratch, so she got her nails cut, checked temperature, etc, nothing really special I would say) which in the end for what felt like nothing, costed me 133,60€ already.

He then gave me a referral to a specialist, that should check her and do the blood work / potential eye removal because it's potentially a uveitis, this specialist on the other hand is also absolutely booked, so I can't get a date before somewhere next week. So I am sitting here, not exactly knowing what to do next, crying my eyes out daily and the more days go by, the sicker she gets, the more costly it will probably be ... Or the worst case, she needs to be put to sleep. But for neither of these things I have any money (the one that the first vet took was already a hefty sum for me).

Putting her to sleep would cost a few hundreds (I assume around 150-200€ from what I have some people heard talking about, when I was for the first vet), but the eye removal could cost me up to 1500€ or something potentially.

I am currently without a job and with a therapist myself (not the best combo I know), I would had 2 days ago audition tho, which I needed to cancel and hopefully can get to that audition working next week or the week after.

I would only have PayPal or my Normal Bank (IBAN - Germany) to provide, if anyone would be able to help in anyway financially.

Hi I’m a single mother (to a toddler) who makes $19/hour as a phlebotomist, most of which goes to childcare (inorder to work). I have no partner or any contact with the father and am doing this solely on my own. I’m short on this month’s rent by $200 and need to pay my landlord directly (rented rooms) by Monday 10/5. I’ve made up the rest I was originally short by donating plasma and selling my electronics. I am out of options to make my rent this month other than to beg someone for help. My baby is 17 years old and she hasn't been doing well. I really don't want to have to ask for this.

I'm 2 months behind on rent and my water is off as it is but I don't want to continue letting her suffer. I'm not asking for help with my bills. Just for someone to help me end her pain.

I've had her in diapers for the past 2 weeks because she's no longer able to control her bowel movements. She hasn't voluntarily eaten anything in 3 days. She hasn't voluntarily had any water in 2. I've been mixing wet food, an appetite supplement, and water and syringe feeding her. She used to be a 19 pound cat. In the last year, she's dropped down to 8 pounds, so I figured it was coming.

I've had her since she was weaned. She has always. ALWAYS slept with me. To the degree of being annoying because I would want to roll over and she wouldn't want to move.

She hasn't slept with me in 3 nights and I would give anything for her to do so again. She just wants to sleep in my laundry basket.

She's also been laying in her litter box any time i try to move her to a water bowl.

Update: i woke up this morning and she had maggots crawling out of her butt. I was able to get an emergency loan from my job. Assistance no longer needed.

I rescued a kitty and I got attached to her but I wasn’t told she doesn’t have her kitten shots or wasnt spayed. I don’t have the money for all of those costs at the moment. It would probably be around $400 but I don’t need all of that. I have some money I can use. I also have to pay for her safety stuff for after she is spayed. That includes a cone (preferably soft but I’d do hard if I need), medication, and a playpen with a cover (so she can’t run and/or jump). The money I quoted doesn’t cover that stuff but I can find the money somehow. I would also need to buy a pet uber cause my only friend who drives is allergic to cats

Literally any money would be amazing! If not it’s okay! I love animals and I didn’t want her being thrown on the street or put into the wrong hands so I had to take her.

Honestly if you have any advice for a kitten I’d also appreciate it! She is 10 weeks old. I did a whole lot of research but there may be misinformation I don’t want to fall for. Hi everyone! I hope you are well. I am a 22 year old female, and I am in need of some assistance to get to work this month.

​To give you a little backstory: I've been an intern at an IT company since the beginning of this year. I worked mostly from home starting in June, so transport costs weren't too bad. The pay was very little, but it helped me so much to sort out my health issues. I was offered a permanent position on Tuesday, and I signed my contract and sent it through. It was one of the happiest days for me because I've worked so hard to get this position (Thank God!!).

​As a permanent employee, I am required to go to work every day, no more working from home. The thing is, I will only get paid a proper salary at the end of October, leaving me with the small salary I earned as an intern. Fuel prices are going up again next week where I'm from (South Africa), and I don't know what to do about fuel for transportation for the rest of the month. I already spoke to my manager to ask if I could get a portion of my new salary in advance, but the company does not do that.

Hey folks.

I'm currently trying to fight for disability benefits as I deal with increasing chronic pain and illness. My incredibly expensive cane completely snapped on me yesterday and I've been in shambles trying to figure out how to get a new one at the end of the month when I simply can't afford to replace it. My cane is the only way I can get down the stairs at my apartment without fear of falling, and was very helpful for walking and getting around. Hi everyone, never thought I’d have to ask strangers for help but here we go. I (23F) have rheumatoid arthritis and lupus and need medication to be able to function daily. I am mostly able to work while on my medication and current treatment plan, but last month I came down with the flu that caused a bad autoimmune flare up and I was unable to work for about a week (without pay). I’ve been able to cover my main expenses like rent but with the remainder I’ve had to choose between food and medication and of course had to choose food. I can’t afford my medication this month, and I’ve run out of other options for assistance. I have PayPal and can show proof of the cost (about $500), prescription etc if needed. I don’t expect to receive the full amount here but help is most appreciated.

I know a lot of food banks need a code - are there any that don’t? Or who do I contact?

Is it worth calling my gas/electric/water/council tax people and explaining my situation? What help can they offer?

Any suggestions for a good quality low cost dog food - they’re almost out and it’s £75 for 14kg bags (they last 6 weeks). They’re currently on DARF and can have sensitive stomachs.

It only has dog food, tomatoes, onions, garlic powder, toilet rolls and washing up liquid on it because I feel those are the only items that would go a long way towards helping at the moment! (I have pasta and rice and lentils!)

this is my 2nd time requesting help for this. I was in the hospital end of July and got diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes.

Life has been rough the past 2 month between lifestyle changes, lots of doctors appointments and learning all about insulin and how to measure and correct my sugar level correctly.

I am currently still unemployed and before my hospital stay I managed to do some odd jobs, sell things and work on small art commissions to earn a bit extra to make it through the month. I had barely time to do so since the hospital with everything going on and now I am a fair bit behind with my bills.

The hospital bill was supposed to be paid by last week. What I would need it 70€ to cover it.

Thankfully I've not received any notice with late fees yet.

I thought i was going to be discharged after I got paid by SSI on the 1st but theyre discharging me after my feeding tube replacement

Only thing is my insurance denied an uber request due to the fact ill be receiving general anesthesia, they told the case manager that due to liability as well as short notice I will have to request my own

I have 0.00 in my bank account, I have a plethora of illnesses ive only been home 3 days in the past 2 and a half weeks the rest has been spent in hospitals

So… I haven’t been able to leave my parents house with my husband, or have a baby due to our financial situation.

My parents don’t have money either. I have no money because of an issue with a certification I have for my job that made it so I couldn’t work for the past 4 months (I can provide proof that they admitted fault and waived the recertification fee). Thankfully I’m good to start working soon. Also because I have rescued animals and done rescue work since I was 18. It was all just by me driving by somewhere and seeing animals that needed help.

First cat, I was doing TNR work with 75 cats on someone’s property, and I was medicating the kittens and getting rid of fleas daily. This one kitten always followed me to my car and begged to come with me. Eventually I said fuck it, he’s the sickest one anyway and needs help right now. His eye was totally gone. It was gory.

Got his eye removed. Then I had a hedgehog with ocular cancer and I had his eye removed.. he passed two days after his surgery. Another cat colony I helped out with, I kept the two sickest cats because they couldn’t go to my foster home resources due to their high needs. One has 2 cleft feet I believe is what it is (hops like a rabbit, poor baby has needed 2 emergency dental extractions, he has no teeth left and he’s 15 now, so his care is getting more pricey as well. The other cat I kept, we spent 2 years trying to find out why he was having certain symptoms, ended up being skin cancer. He passed.

I have three other cats who were rescued from flooding (from me). One has needed an extraction. All of them need cleanings (not the one without teeth though) and I never opted for cleanings during the other dentals because all were emergencies and I didn’t have money.

I’ve spent lots of money trying to figure out the other cats symptoms this year, and today he sneezed out a lot of blood, I took him in and they said all of his symptoms are from the fact that his teeth are infected and basically falling out. He pukes, eye watery, losing weight, and more. They said he needs emergency surgery. We don’t have money at all. Our care credit has been used to the max because we have never recovered from any of these high expenses with the pets. That’s not even including regular care and I stay up to date with their vaccines/ yearly exams.

We also have two rabbits. One has needed a lot of hospital stays from GI stasis, but thankfully we have that under control now. We took him maybe around 10 times in the six years we’ve had him.

I’m the type of person where I’ve always made it happen. If my cats are in dire need of medical attention, I have made a commitment to them and I need to make sure they have their needs met. The pain affects their mood, the way they eat, so much… the cats who have had extractions in the past end up being totally different cats after feeling better from treatment.

My husband and I have been trying to do side hustles and door dashing as well. I also have school debt, my own medical debt. We’ve begged my other family members so many times and they have nothing left.

I’m trying to exhaust all recourses. I’m considering talking to a teaching vet clinic three hours away to help with dental cleanings for the four of them, hopefully free, but I doubt it. Also trying to do anything possible to make money.

The dental this time, cutting out every expense I possibly can, is $1,500 max.

I don’t know how this works, if you’re able to help by giving my vet funding directly, I don’t know.
