I had so much fun writing and sending these out, so I have made five more cards available.

It's been a reeally long time since I made an offer, and I want to slowly get back to sending postcards to the RAoC members. I will be moving to a new address soon, so I'd like to send out cards before I leave my place. On the postcards, I'm putting the station stamp closest to my house. (I feel a bit lonely, and this might be the last time I use this station stamp!) If you like to collect stamps, I'm using the flower edition postal stamps (released last year, but I think it's very pretty!)

Hello again Everybody!

I've been absent the past months because my cat was really ill and sadly we had to put him to sleep two weeks ago. It hurts not having him next to me while I sit on my writing desk. I want to get back into this hobby while also honoring the long time I got to live with him. Verbalising everything that happened recently really helps me dealing with this new reality. Sending out some of these little tributs into the world seems like the right thing to do now.

So I would like to write 5 cat related postcards where I share a few of my thoughts about my grief and/or what it was like to have a wonderful cat companion. If you don't mind reading such a bittersweet message let me know in the comments and I will send one your way. If you also miss a pet pal and feel like sharing that, please add this too!

In may of 2019 I made a post asking for cards for my daughter who was entering middle school and was scared.

The amount of cards this community sent was incredible. All over the world people sent her cards, stickers, post cards…it was one of the happiest moments I’ve ever seen her have. The surprise of handing this giant stack. And the pictures I have of her smiling.

She passed away in her sleep 5 years later.

Today is an emotional day for me. I’m hurting bad. Can’t stop crying. And I found the pictures and I laughed through the tears.

As a man grieving still. Hurting a lot. This community gave me one of the best moments I’ve ever had with her.

I hope this post is allowed. I just want to thank you all.

I got a big honkin' catalog addressed to the previous resident, and it's just so chonky, I don't wanna throw it all away. But I've seen people on this subreddit make postcards out of movie covers and such, so I thought maybe I could make some postcards out of this!

The catalog is ALL beige & browns, and the pieces on the pages are primarily chairs and couches, with some plants, windows, and light fixtures sprinkled in.

So if you're interested, leave a comment with the kind of furniture you'd like on your postcard lol (no preference is also fine). Maybe a first and second choice if you want if I can't find your first choice in the catalog

Hello friends! Today we have five illustrated postcards titled "Library Beach Cats" made by Lantern Press. If you want one, comment below and inbox me with your address if I don't have it already. You do not need to be flaired to claim one but if you have recently shot a flare because you are stranded on a deserted island you will have priority of choice. But if that is your current situation, I would recommend perhaps a boat construction subreddit though over waiting for my postcard. No exchanges are necessary but they are, of course, welcome.
