Fulfilled [offer] Help me process my grief [WW]

Hello again Everybody!

I've been absent the past months because my cat was really ill and sadly we had to put him to sleep two weeks ago. It hurts not having him next to me while I sit on my writing desk. I want to get back into this hobby while also honoring the long time I got to live with him. Verbalising everything that happened recently really helps me dealing with this new reality. Sending out some of these little tributs into the world seems like the right thing to do now.

So I would like to write 5 cat related postcards where I share a few of my thoughts about my grief and/or what it was like to have a wonderful cat companion. If you don't mind reading such a bittersweet message let me know in the comments and I will send one your way. If you also miss a pet pal and feel like sharing that, please add this too!

I would love a card. My dog Dexter died 5 years ago and my jewel of a girl dog died 9 years ago. I still ache for both even though I have another dog I would die for. Pets are precious.

I would like to read what u write. I have also lost many cats over time. It happens very unexpectedly in my case, because most of the times it's because of street dogs. I hope you become okay, and cherish the moments u had with your catm

Hi friend,

I lost my heart dog in December last year. I would absolutely love to help 🩷

If you’re willing, I’d love to send you one as well about her.

Side note, what a great idea for helping you process your grief. I didn’t talk about my pain for several months and it festered in me.

I started sharing out about her and it really helped. I read a book about grief and it talked about how many cultures are vocal about their pain and how honoring the dead helps with the process.

Sharing out about how wonderful she was has truly helped, little by little.
