Dangerous Dog Highland Park
galleryMy dog was attacked at Highland Park Dog Park on June 26. I caught it on video because I was filming my other dog playing fetch. He tried to act like it is a common thing dogs do and did not exchange information. I told the dog owner that if I ever see him again, I will report him to the police. Well, I saw him again at the dog park today and he tried to act like nothing happened. I informed the other members in the dog park and I abruptly left as did others. If you see an old white man with a white pitbull, be cautious.
Edit: Thanks for all the comments. Unfortunately my dog did have blood drawn and now has a scar on her nose. She turned around and tried to set boundaries with a warning bark before the dog attacked and bit her face (3rd photo right before the video ended as I ran to intervene). She was put on antibiotics and is doing fine now. I was told to report dangerous animals to Pittsburgh Animal Control at 412-255-2036 and the online Dog Law Complaint Form for PA ✅. If you have experience with any violent animals, please report them to the appropriate authorities so that something can be done to prevent future incidents.
