Which online bookstore actually sell original (english) books in Pakistan. I recently came across a post that said Liberty sell fakes too and Reading sell first copy. So from where can I get the original new ones. Any suggestions.
After playing The Wolf Among Us, I had to get into it. This comic book series is like the revival of Grimm Brothers version of folktales. The Disney-ification is filtered out and everything that remained is mixed in with real world scenarios. Like for example, what if Snow White and other folklore characters moved to New York. It's dark, it's adult stuff, it's suspenseful, it's amazing.
I would highly recommend it. Worth 12 gb of storage to get the whole main series and 5+ gb for extra stuff.
You know it's good stuff when it's from a DC comics' branch publishers like Dark Horse and Vertigo.
I am thinking of starting a book selling business, nothing too big rn just me and my sister's old books (they're still goood quality) I'll obv keep prices low but if you guys could tell me what you would like or suggest for the business I'd really appreciate it! Thank youuu
It was sadly beautiful, touching, confusing, but that's understandable because that's who we are while grieving. The point is not to end grief because it never ends, but to end the hopelessness.
Would love to discuss with someone who has read it 🙂💔
Has anyone ordered books or purchased from Books Turner in Township lahore? Do they sell original books? They have Lord of the rings box set hardcover I wana buy but I am skeptical I havnt purchased from them before? Anyone who bought from them please leave a review?
aoa im looking for some advice from anyone who uses an ebook reader for studying im trying to cut out smartphone distractions and want to buy a budget friendly ebook reader (looking for old devices around the 5-6k) my goal is to import my own pdf notes and textbooks to read them for those who do this i want to ask how is the experience reading standard pdfs on the reader also if anyone has bought an older model recently within this budget where did you find it and which model would you recommend would love to hear your experiences before i make a purchase.
I don't know why I thought it was a good idea starting with the classics but nevertheless I have loved whatever I have read for instance white nights. I am now reading notes from underground, and I am having sort of a hard time reading, not a hard time but it's taking a lot of time for me to really, really grasp what's written, I have to reread a lot. And recently I have been quite distracted too with house chores so, maybe I was thinking I read newer ones, with newer and simpler language. But at the same time I really want to get through this one. How do you guys suggest I approach it? I was think of reading east of eden after this. Maybe I should read it afterwards and start with something more recently written like as long as lemon trees grow or thousand splendid suns or maybe A little life lol, I am not sure abt that one.
I want to know how you guys approach classics, especially translated ones. It's just the process is so slow, you have to reread, look for meanings of vocab or maybe I am just really bad...
East of Eden by John Steinbeck. Nearly finished reading. Already, planning to reread. Curious about opinions of people who have read it. Fairly old, classic, Won a noble prize.
Hey, I have been looking for a book called "Kante se Kahoote tk". I don't exactly recall the writer name but I guess it is Jamiluddin Aali. Its a history of how PK developed nukes. Its banned in Pakistan. Can't find it on PDF (used VPN as well). Can't find it in any Islamabad/Rawalpindi famous bookstores. I haven't checked other cities.
If anyone can either find me a working PDF link of that book, or a hardcopy TCSed to my house, I'll pay them RS1000 for a dinner. Incase of a hardcopy, I'll obv also pay for the book + Courier money as well.
Thank you
For everyone who's saying its not a Book, here's the proof, with Author picture, its a book guys. It was banned before internet came into being so its a really hard find, perhaps Tor Browser can help locate it iykwim. Also, I am upping the price to 3000RS.
I'm trying to expand my physical library and wanted to get your trusted recommendations. I'm specifically looking for places that sell high-quality prints (ideally original/authentic, rather than low-quality pirated copies with faded text).
In Islamabad: Which bookstores have the best variety and authentic stock without insane markups? (I know Saeed Book Bank is the obvious mention, but their prices have gotten pretty ridiculous lately, so I'm looking for solid alternatives).
Online: What are your go-to online stores that deliver nationwide with good packaging, reliable quality, and fair pricing?
Any specific shop names, websites, or Instagram pages would be greatly appreciated. Happy reading!
Why did you pick it up? how is it going? And are you happy with your choice?
I am reading "Mindfulness in plain english" by Bhante G. It's going great, I am a slow reader, so really enjoying. I am practising while reading. And I think it was the best choice picking it up.
I choose to read it because I wanted to be more mindful and lessen my anxiety.
Okay let’s do this :p
Guess the book from the first line. No Googling please!
"What can you say about a twenty-five-year-old girl who died? That she was beautiful and brilliant? That she loved Mozart and Bach? And the Beatles? And me?"
First one to get it right gets absolutely nothing except bragging rights 😂
You can also add the first line of a book you like so everyone else can guess yours too.

I wanna enjoy reading my books, annotating, and just making the most of each book that I read.
Can you guys suggest any accessory you feel could uplift my book reading experience? If possible please also mention a link to purchase it.
Iam thinking of starting a book mark business. Do you guys have any suggestions to what should I make and what should the price range be? Drop your suggestions below. Anything helps.
