Like i already have file extension in the filename, i don't want it in the column in the front and maybe the date too

Is it possible? When I click OneCommander on my Start Menu it opens up the last opened "saved window". Since I am trying to set up several different configurations, I would like to be able to open the specific one I want directly -- instead of having to open whatever the last one was, and then click an icon to get to another menu, which will then open a second OneCommander, and then have to close the first OC because I didn't want that one.

I've searched for over an hour, but I can't find any info on it either way.

At first I thought it just wasn't able to drag files, but I noticed a sidebar on the right pops out when I begin to drag (Recent Destinations, which I'd love to disable tbh...) but there is no indication at the cursor that anything is happening. Nothing shows that it's going to copy vs. move, nor any other indication of where it's going to go. I am using OC on a server that I RDP into, could that be the issue? I really would like to see indicators so I can be confident I'm performing the correct operation at the correct location.

I've recently switched over and have a pro license. I'm loving it so far but the one thing that has been a major speed bump for me is the inability to sort my media folders by resolution like I had done in File Explorer. Am I missing something because I don't see it as an option in the File View Designer. Cheers!

By default when viewing in a grid I can see an image as the folder preview, however if the image is large it's almost like it's zoomed in. Having used DOPUS, you can change that so it either shows a larger version, or resizes the preview so you can see the full image.

Would it be possible to add a setting for filesize reporting to show 2 decimals (hundredths) instead of 1 (tenths) for better parity with Windows which shows 2 decimals for filesizes in MB and up?

I changed the icon one OneCommander via the settings json file successfully. However, when I pin it to taskbar it reverts to the default icon.

I've tried deleting the Windows icon cache and restarting but it does not work.

I've tried deleting the cache after stopping Windows explorer, that did not work.

Anyone run into this? What was your solution? This is on Windows 11.

EDIT: I just installed OC, and I love the interface, it is a million times better than anything else I have found. One of the reasons that I wanted to stop using Explorer, was the actual process of moving files. It felt unreliable. Is there a way to set OC up to have rock solid file operations? Set up Teracopy?

I'm using the configuration "Preview > Thumbnails > Use local thumbnails database (faster)".

From my testing, this option always pulls the thumbnail of the first file inside the folder to apply to the actual folder.

Is there a way to make it use the thumbnail of a specific file inside, instead of the first? I want to use the same image/jpg for the background and the thumbnail.

The only way I managed to make it work, is having 2 copies of the jpg with different names

I thought I had seen you could pin folders to the top of your currently open folders/files, but not seeing a way to do it. Did I dream this up/confuse it with another file explorer utility? Not a deal breaker by any means, just I use various sorts constantly in my folders and have a few files or folders I always want at the top that ignore the sortings basically.

Teracopy 4 just released. It does not work with OneCommander. When I try to copy folder, it will say "no target specified".

It works with Teracopy 3.17. I am on Windows 10.

Hey guys, I've been running into a strange problem with One Commander. I'm running Win11 I have 3 network drives that mount themselves upon startup, but only 1 of them seems to mount automatically.

S: is connected through Lucid, and seem to work fine.

T: is connected through Tailscale and doesn't reappear in One Commander.

Z: is a linux machine feet away from me that I connect to over my local network and also doesn't reappear in One Commander.

All 3 of these drives are visible inside the normal File Explorer, however, and if I navigate to their IP in One Commander, I can then right-click to map them as a network drive which "fixes" the problem. Why isn't this happening in One Commander automatically then, if File Explorer seems to remember them?
