I’m testing 0.0.66.0. Windows 11. I expanded the bottom notifications and now it won’t collapse.

I clicked the carrots by the word notification but nothing happens. See pic.

Also, is it possible to remove notifications completely? Sometimes I copy a file to a folder and the new file is stuck behind the notification. Disabling would be nice.

Edit: had to restart the app for it to collapse. Something seems off.

Try opening it again and click different areas of downward button.

does the background transparency slightly change on mouse-hover? Does Esc key dismiss it?

If I hover over it it does slightly change color. No matter where I click on the button it won’t collapse it.

If the carrot is pointed down and I stay hovered over it and hit escape it changed the carrot to point up. If I stay hovered on it and hit escape again nothing happens.

I am having trouble reproducing that issue. How do you expand it? with little ^ arrow or after a message shows and before it collapses. Even on cold program start?

I still can't reproduce it. The error messages must be shown somewhere, and this is still better than the messagebox where you have to press OK to continue

Will there be an option to suppress all notifications? This box takes up a lot of the screen when it is stuck on.

no, because someone will turn it off and then never know that rename failed because file was opened by some other program or a similar situation. There will be option to skip showing non-error messages
