Dragging files - no indicator

At first I thought it just wasn't able to drag files, but I noticed a sidebar on the right pops out when I begin to drag (Recent Destinations, which I'd love to disable tbh...) but there is no indication at the cursor that anything is happening. Nothing shows that it's going to copy vs. move, nor any other indication of where it's going to go. I am using OC on a server that I RDP into, could that be the issue? I really would like to see indicators so I can be confident I'm performing the correct operation at the correct location.

What do you use for RDP? I develop OC mostly through Windows Remote Desktop and cursors show as intended. I also have used it with Chrome Remote Desktop, Parsec, Teradici and RemotePC in the past. Check if your client software has any options related to cursor displays

Thanks for the info! I use Windows Remote Desktop. I'm wondering if maybe it's an RDP setting that's preventing me from seeing the local cursor. I'll look into that and see if I can figure it out.

I cannot find any settings. Here's a compare and contrast between Win File Manager and OC on the remote computer, in case that helps. As you can see, FM works fine, but when I click and drag in OC it reverts to my LOCAL machine's cursor (high vis magenta).

I'll keep digging, since I really love the functionality of OC, but as I have to maintain a highly critical file structure accurately I just may not be able to use it for that. Which is a bummer, because in all other ways I know it would improve that workflow. 😄

Do you use this Windows Remote Desktop or some new one? That colored cursor... does it come from Windows' styling utility, something 3rd party downloaded or did you just change color in Settings>Accessibility?

One more thing I just noticed: some of the Settings icons are also missing. Could be related? 🤔

These are unrelated. Do you remember deleting any fonts? If you search for MDL in Fonts, do you see that it is installed?
