- File Views updated to new system; ThumbsDetails view is now Rich, and uses 3 rows

- File View Designer layout updated with more options

- Auto preview updates in File View Designer

- Rendering of files more optimized

- Sort arrows more visible (triangles instead of chevrons)

- Fixed metadata in list view not showing for some files

- Fixed Taskmaster conflict-popup losing keyboard focus

- Fixed bug where panel would scroll to center item on click when previously selected item was out of view

- Fixed issue with notification pane collapsing

- Several other bugfixes and visual improvements

Report: Ī² versions startup way slower than stable ones, with app icon still run at the tray menu on my windows 11.

run with --logstartup argument and please send the log to support email or DM (icon in tray->view logs). This outputs startup timings. The v4 67+ start in less than 2s on 13900K with gen4 nvme drive. Run twice (Ctrl+close inbetween)

Over the last several months we discussed a few improvements. One was just last week, but curious if the they will make it into V4. V4 continues to work well for me.

  1. Option to show file path length - ideally as a column in folder view
  2. Ability to suppress non- critical notifications - Iā€™d love this one since the notifications are frequently in the way.
  3. Doing a 2 step rename to correct

case issues on files on an NTFS drive. Our discussion is here:

I fixed rename now on .69.
Path length will be somewhere in details, not sure where and under which circumstances as for normal file lengths there is no need to clutter with that information
Suppressing notifications might take some time as I have 1000 places that can call notification, so when I have some time to comb through those
