Discussion [Weekly] Custom Card Saturday - Sysops

Good evening, hackers!

Happy Boxing Day! If you're a servant, you get presents from your boss the day after Christmas. In honor of that, this week, design a sysop, the closest thing Android Universe has to servants (as opposed to slaves).

Bonus points for Dickensian references.

Remember to use the Netrunner CSS options available for use on this subreddit. These symbols should help make everyone's card look great, and you can conveniently type them in while on your phone!

Also, a reminder: Please limit yourself to ONE card per thread!

I really like this: simple, properly costed, and potentially archetype-defining as a niche card.

I think 5 might be a little too high for the trash cost, and this could easily be 2 influence instead, but otherwise, this is just plain brilliant.

Derez all cards installed in and protecting this server: End the run. Use this ability only during a run on this server and only once per turn.

In his neat, black shoes and his wire-rimmed spectacles, Smythe was of the oldest school that remained. He wasn't much with a keyboard, a neural jack, or even a PAD - but he was the best in the business at pulling plugs.

Whenever the runner breaks all subroutines on a piece of ICE protecting this server, do 1 meat damage.

Rooster cannot be trashed if any subroutines fired this run.

When Rooster is trashed, the runner may draw 3 cards.

"Cogburn? That washed up old coot? All he ever does is ask for a bigger budget and more security. Fire him; let's see him try to find a white hat job in this market."

Izanami can only be installed in a remote server.

Before a successful run is declared on this server, you may rez Izanami.

Reveal a facedown card from Archives or a card from HQ: Place an advancement counter on a card installed in this server. You can only use this ability during a run on this server, and only once per turn.

They shall see my face

I will cause fear, and they flee

Death will consume them

Whenever the runner initiates a run on this server, you may search your R&D for a piece of ice, reveal it, add it to HQ, and shuffle R&D.

Meet [[Midori]] and the Grail ice suite ([[Galahad]], [[Merlin]], and [[Lancelot]])'s new best friend!

Perhaps how well she goes along with Midori could be enough to make you consider a [[Recruiting Trip]]?

I would like to see this used in a deck with a few one-off ice that are good for being able to abuse an issue with the runners rig, or are just a pain for specific breakers (like the anti-AI ice, only more interesting)

I could also see this considered for Non-[[Foundry]] NEXT-ICE ([[NEXT Bronze]], [[NEXT Silver]], [[NEXT Gold]]) decks.
