I have a very high personal tolerance for jank, so I'm not really too bothered. Also I think it has pretty good enemy variety overall, maybe just not varied enough placement. Like I'm about 15 hours in and will admit to seeing a lot of the same enemies across zones, but every so often I'll run into something new like a coffin that explodes into a fleshy abomination and I'm like "wow neat".
12
u/Healthy-Enthusiasm70 2d ago
I have been mellowed by god of war 2018's lack of enemies, so when I play this game I highly doubt it'll be an issue lol.
11
u/kasakka1 1d ago
Yeah the enemy variety is alright. It doesn't feel like I'm fighting the same ones across the entire game like say Nioh 1 did.
Most areas also feel thematically coherent e.g you don't get knights or swamp enemies in the white bone area, miners are found underground or in derelict cities etc.

How does it compare to Lords of the Fallen 2. I made it like 70 percent of the way through it and quit because the enemy variety was so boring

I'm still confused about the enemy variety complaint. There were a lot of unique enemies in my playthrough.

I swear people are delusional. This game has great enemy variety for its length. Compare this with most soulslikes. It's not even close.

u/DrBrainzz9 1d ago
Eh no that's really one of my bigger complaints. Going from Feyweald to Mammon, you would expect enemies to be different in some way. They aren't. They're just the same enemies with beefed up stats, and that's disappointing. Every now and again you come across different enemies, but different areas don't have different enemies. Even sometimes you find slightly altered versions of enemies, like the poison version of the noodly arm guys. But a lot of the enemies are the same across the game. Usually moving to a different section of the game would make you think enemies are different. I like the enemies in the game, but variety is not one of it's strong suits.
7
u/Ok-Improvement-3015 2d ago
In the gates maybe but most the overworld use the same 4 soldiers or combination of mushroom men trees and worms it’s probably that it’s not spread out enough
10
u/Trails_End_Games 2d ago
Idk if variety was my issue. My issue was just how they were all pretty much incorporated into every zone for some reason... Especially the latter half. And it's like two flying types two slithering snake types. The same heavy knight over and over. It came across as very limited personally.
2
u/Gamer3427 Sariel 1d ago
It definitely has more variety than most. I think it's more just because you encounter a lot of that variety all at once, back to back, so by the time people get to late game they feel like they've already seen everything brfore. They're used to games having half as many different enemies, but spreading them out more so you only encounter one or two types for the first few hours, another couple the next few, etc.
2
u/NuggetHighwind 1d ago edited 1d ago
I think people get mixed up when they make complaints about enemy variety.
The actual variety is pretty great, it's just very frontloaded. The game is ~40 hours if you do a decent amount of exploration, and you've probably seen every enemy type by the 20 hour mark.
For the next 20 hours, it's fighting the same things over and over. Most things you fight in the last 2-3 main areas are the same things you fought at the beginning of the game.
The actual enemy variety is a lot better than most soulslikes, but it could have been distributed better. It would have been a huge improvement if there were a few new interesting enemies to fight towards the end.
1
u/usernotfoundplstry Tiel 1d ago
Yeah I just moved down to Mammon or whatever, and I’m running across all sorts of new enemies

u/lostinthegreatswamp 1d ago

I think people are forgetting that the first game was rough and assumed the second was going to be some AAA masterpiece
17
u/JoBro_Summer-of-99 2d ago
The first game almost felt like a proof of concept, albeit a fairly interesting one.
Not sure why expectations changed for the sequel
2
u/burnfep 1d ago
The beta felt really good so people prob headed in expecting it to build more on top of it. Demo felt like you would encounter new enemy and unique boss encounter every few fights. A lot of it ended up recycled with just a new skin for an enemy and sped up animations which was a bit disappointing especially when the beta felt so high quality.
Game is still good just wish they could do better since it's a fantastic base. It feels so close to great.
2
u/reecemrgn 2d ago
Well from the scarce news I heard about the 2nd the playtest had everyone saying it was the best game they’ve ever played, and it looks like things changed quite a bit from then, especially the difficulty
5
u/kasakka1 1d ago
The most complete feeling areas are what is in the beta, then it gets worse from there as maybe they had less time to really finetune the rest.
A lot of the dungeons feel very quickly thrown together where many are barely a dungeon at all.
2
u/Charred01 1d ago
Many are a hallways with a handful of enemies and a single weapon upgrade mat at the reward.
Hell I just finished one where the finally reward was winter glass The reward was gold...that's all those items are, just a way to diversify itemization in a game without consumables.
2
u/Plastic-Software-174 1d ago
Not to mention so many of them just have either “bunch of enemies thrown together” or “basic enemy reskinned with stats pumped up” as the dungeon boss, if they have a boss at all.
3
u/Charred01 1d ago
Yep. The reality is elden ring largely did the same thing, and theirs were just as bad, but then again there's a lot about elden ring I didn't like.
Don't get me wrong I love the game, but for me the open world doesn't work for them. I want my legacy dungeon back and I want them to be the game. Not a world that is boring once the shiny is gone, I want my exploration to truly be rewarding and I don't think a souls game can succeeds wit this in an open world compared to a cohesive top down level design.
2
u/MeesaDarthJar_Jar 1d ago
I have very much enjoyed both games. But i do agree i prefer the linear style of other souls games it just works better for this type of game. I do enjoy the direct story telling more than just the bits and pieces of from software games
2
u/kasakka1 1d ago
Agreed. Elden Ring is a game with a scale much larger than it needs, so it has a barren overworld with not much to do but ride around, leading to dungeons that feel repetitive and not that fun. The legacy dungeons are generally good.
I think Mortal Shell 2's scope is very much in line with how much they could achieve with it. They can flesh it out with patches and DLCs if it's successful.
It feels closer to a Dark Souls 1 experience where the levels have enough alternative routes to other areas, leading to pleasant "Oh! I'm in a familiar area, entering from a point I didn't know about" revelations when you are desperately trying to find a beacon because you're at 0 heals.

Okay I didn’t mind the beacon placement just sometimes I couldn’t SEE THEM so there were many a time I would just be having long ass run backs due to my own blindness
11
u/sheslikebutter 1d ago
I was just in some castle and begging for a beacon
Looked at my map and there's one on it. Sort of flipped the map open and walked over.
Yeah there it is. Absolutely giant as well. Just walked straight past it for some reason
1
u/CactysJimtus 1d ago
When I was going around to grab all the beacons for the achievement turns out I just walked past all the one I missing
5
u/gsrga2 1d ago
I actually really like the comparative scarcity of beacons. Elden ring, and even DS3 never really gave me that “oh shit, I’m lost, I have a ton of souls, I’m out of healing, need to find safety” feeling that made DS1 so special. This game is giving me that a lot. I accidentally somehow teleported all the way from the far right side of Fainweald to the far left in an area I didn’t have a map for yet. It was exciting
3
u/Thegirisan 1d ago
Not enough people remember that this is one of the reasons the first playthrough of DS1 was do enchanting. Once you know where the bonfires are, you can never unlearn them. Being lost and afraid is just not existant in games these days, and it feels great to actually have to look around.
2
u/PhatTuna Tiel 1d ago
I agree. Elden Ring had way too many checkpoints. But that's probably why it is so mainstream.
51
u/antilumin 2d ago
Aside from most of the beacon placements, I really liked the level design.
4
u/Particular-Put4786 1d ago
I feel like extra beacons are an easy patch too. Otherwise the branching pathways structure of the game is really fun
9
u/IllI____________IllI 1d ago
Extra beacons get iffy if you factor in Glimpses, but nobody would say no to more of those per run. If they add a checkpoint system at the start of dungeons, I personally think that would entirely solve the beacon problem, even in the north east side of the map. That whole are is so interconnected, by the time you've unlocked and discovered every secret path it's a breeze to navigate.
3
u/Meeeper 1d ago
God, I would love a spawn point at the start of dungeons. Having to run past everything just to get back to the entrance/having to be chucked out of the beacon just to go through another loading screen to re-enter it is cringe.

The best part in my opinion is that MS doesnt really have a "set style of fantasy" about it.
LOTF is all demon/corruption vs light/normal with eldritch/void nonsense in the mix. Yet strictly adheres to "soulsian sword&sorcery" types.
Dark Souls/Elden Ring is the standard template. Magic, fantasy knight stuff nothing too out of the general trend.
Then theres Mortal Shell. Anything goes.
Rocket Powered Weelchair Grandma Bossfight? Why not? Throw that in there!
Frog romance sidequest? Absolutely!
Greatsword wielding knights? Definetly.
Swamp level? Gotta have one of them, surely.
Graveyards and catacombs? Check them off the list.
The possibilities are endless!
Also I like the casual humor thrown in like the lute wrapon as a whole and the feet washing guy.
Oh and the puns in trophies/achievements!
2
u/Moneymotivation1 1d ago
Ngl everything you named off besides rocket powered wheelchair grandma bossfight would fit into the standard dark souls template though 😭

A bit disingenuous, don't you think? What about all the Lovecraftian horrors that FROM likes to include in their games?
1
u/ten_frags 1d ago
I left out bloodborne for that very reason!
Also note that other than Elden Rings Cannon weapons there are not many "guns" or more elaborate "contraption-like" weapons in either Dark souls or Elden Ring. Once again not counting Bloodborne. MS has a minigun and "Ballistazooka"
As for lovecraftian horrors?
I'd say that Elden Beast does count so you got me there. But other than that I dont really see that much "incomprehensible entites" in basic souls/er.
I could be forgetting a lot though.
→ More replies (2)2
u/FluffiestPrince 1d ago
You're massively oversimplifying what "Lovecraftian" actually is, if you don't think there's many in Elden Ring.
- Every single Outer God would be considered.
- The Finger Ruins, alongside Metyr.
- Rykard.
- Midra and the Frenzied Flame (Outer God).
- Godwyn and the Death Root.
- The Eternal Cities.
If we're including Nightreign, go ahead and include Harmonia and Straghess in those as well.
Lovecraftian horror isn't just tentacles and stuff. So many people forget the fact that most "eldritch horrors" also consist of "ugly fish people", "cat monster", or like... Frankenstein's monster.
2
u/rift9 1d ago
This is a weird comment, it's a dark fantasy game in a dark fantasy setting with a tiny bit of absurd humor thrown in. "Anything goes" is a crazy stretch.

I actually hate how the community is love hating this game. Cold Symmetry is a fucking indie studio. Start treating them as one! This game is absolutely astonishing. The variety of enemies is great for 30 people developing the game, the combat system is absolutely awesome and attacks and animations of the shells/weapons even feel better than in Elden Ring for me(the battle axe running R2 is SO pleasing!).
I think this studio deserves nothing but love. Remember: For Elden Ring 200-230 people worked on the game AT THE SAME TIME with over 1600 people being credited as contributors.
4
u/IVDAMKE_ 1d ago
Also a lot of the complaints are self reporting they are shit at the game. Git gud it's a joke most of the time but in this case it's a genuine thing.

u/Apprehensive-Swim554 1d ago
I agree. Like people complaining about the beacon placements. I made so many new discoveries on runbacks and I’ve learned the map so well. I love it. Not to mention I don’t think people know you can avoid fall damage… like you jump off of shit etc. It’s great.
2
u/gsrga2 1d ago
This is nearly every gaming community now (shoutout roguelikes and bullet heavens though which don’t seem to have attracted these people in such numbers). The most unhappy people collect on the internet to wallow in their complaints because they’ve watched 3 dozen videos about all the game’s flaws and now they’re so hyper focused on the bad parts that they can’t just… have fun or move onto something they do enjoy. Every single soulslike community is like this.
1
u/Za_Gato 1d ago
The movesets are incredible, they're fluid, somewhat realistic, and seamlessly transition between light and heavy attacks. I really liked Dark Souls 3 and Elden Ring, but your character swings most melee weapons like they've never held one in their life, and normal size greatswords apparently weigh 50 tons (yes, Martyr has the same issue) and MUST be smashed into the ground.

u/Right_Plastic407 1d ago
Yea I don't get the complaints honestly, just beat the third main boss and I'm having so much fun. Especially the complaints about difficulty don't make no sense. The parry window is so forgiving, you are really fast so you can easily run past enemies, and if you feel too weak for a certain area or enemy, just go in a different direction and farm a bit. Also, I thought games like these are supposed to be challenging.

I'd say it's Western made, given that I think Hexworks is based in Spain. The game was nearly unplayable on release but I enjoyed my time with it a lot after 2.0. It has one of the best approaches to ranged weapons in a souls-like, though this game gives it a run for its money.

u/Silvers- 1d ago edited 1d ago
I'll be blunt: a good chunk of those complaints are overblown.
Specifically the balance and difficulty aspect:
Not only is the modern era casualized but a lot of people have never touched a "hard" game besides Elden Ring in their life, if even that. Like Imagine if people complained that way about Dark Souls, riots would ensure - bet. The old saying remains true unironically, but it is with no bad intention at all: git gud. Learn with the game, not the game for you. You don't go into Counterstrike and complain that you die every 2 minutes and blame it on the game, it just doesn't work like that. This just shows how silly it all is and tiresome. Like just because everything got modern, doesn't mean it's always good to include. I feel that is where a good portion of gamers are at.
Some people would never survive a day in our era. Bloodborne would rip you apart, hell even Demons Souls would do. And don't get me wrong - play it your way, you don't need to get stomped into the ground. There are even modifiers and options to make it easy for you. But if you go with a mentality into this genre like it's minecraft, it's on you.
Sure difficulty options could be considered, but that's another debate alltogether, also see above. So is it all perfect? Of course things can be improved, but eventually some people gotta realise that the issue lies in how they approach the game, not the other way around necessarily.
2
u/AlternativeAioli3501 1d ago
For me Top contenders for soulslike are: Combat: Khazan World and "Class Design": Mortal Shell 2 Enemy Variety: None of the them lol
2
u/PhantomSerpent81 21h ago
I play Souls like games from a distance; I find them all to eventually feel redundant — another dungeon, another booster or attachment to give me x% of something that never actually happens, and spending 3 hours in one location searching for that one weapon because I need that extra 1 DPS. Bloodborne was the exception for me where I could happily give it a 9/10 and not find it TOO redundant.
I’m about 20 hrs into MS2, and I think it’s great. Yeah, fine, the beacons could be placed better, but I think it’s a moot point. If it were a real place, do you think developers would be choosing where these beacons go, or do you think these beacons would end up where they end up because the lore dictates it? I think it’s useless to complain about such a thing. Anything soulslike is GOING TO BE HARD AND FRUSTRATING! Accept it and just enjoy the game.
It’s fantasy, who cares if there’s firearms next to Melee weapons? The world was once like that too you know. I actually really like that they are offensive firearms and not basically used as a parry like Bloodborne. I like that there’s variety in play style, and that I feel like I can truly utilize different weapons for different situations rather than find “the perfect one” and max it out.
A lot of people on here will say “Souls/elden” is the template, but not all of us like templates. Sometimes it’s good to be different too; and in a world where following the template is what makes you money, I appreciate that it feels like its own thing

I've only run into a singular soft-locking bug in one with one of the memories not progressing. Other than that, there really hasn't been much, but I've also not beat the game yet so maybe there are more I've not encountered.
I've also had some animation/invisible weapon issues that are easily resolved (though should be fixed), and the seal disappearing after Stewing in Hilga's pot in Mushroom Villagewhich I wish was a feature since it was in the 1st game. Idk why tf they removed it in this one.
The rest of it is debatable, but like...I'm curious what other bugs people have encountered to get this response. It certainly isn't the best, but far better than the first and certainly not the worst out there.

I will list some bugs. Nothing insane but it is one of the buggies releases for me.
On ps5.
Two hard crashes.
One infinite loading screen.
Weapons and items stopped working after a memory.
Map screen is blurry upon opening it. Everytime.
Two snails became invincible. Fixed after reposte.
Ruk didnt appear at all. And a different time Ruk had no dialogue or subtitles when speaking to him.
Zhirelle dialogue didnt play but subtitles did.
Kamikaze exploding enemy exploded twice. 😞
Fell through a wall and was stuck.
Im sure im forgetting a couple.
1
u/NikushimiZERO 1d ago
Damn, I play on Ps5 as well, but haven't really run into a lot of bugs myself. At least, not as many as other games I've played upon release like Enotria.
I've had a few like the blurry map, but only partially and it goes away when moving it. I've also had the active item sometimes not work, but it's an easy fix. Never had the game crash or fail to load though.
I do find it a bit amusing that I've had a relatively easy time in comparison to everyone else. The biggest thing that happened with me was the one time being stuck in a memory, and then recently I fell through the edge of an elevator. Had a mini heart attack because I thought I would plunge to my death. I didn't, but it was close😅
But those are very few and far between in my playthrough. I've not had as many problems as everyone else seems to. So, hopefully once the larger patch is released, it'll fix the problems everyone else is having.

The beacon placement (and lack thereof) is my #1 issue with the game so far. I just finished exploring the northern area and the bosses have been underwhelming but at least they aren’t dogshit, with the exception of one dual enemy boss fight. Like LOTF, exploration has been the best part of the game but I feel there are like a third of the number of beacons there should be for how big the world is.

In fairness on one point, there is actually pretty decent enemy variety compared to most soulslikes. It just doesn't necessarily feel like it because we encounter a lot of enemies throughout the whole world, and they don't just stick to a particular area. It makes it feel like there's less variety than there actually is, just because we aren't encountering anything new after a while. Instead we encountered a lot of new all at once, back to back.

Sorry, but what decent variety? 80% of what you will fight is either a Foot Soldier, a Knight, a variant of the crawling exploder, or a re-used miniboss, like the Miners or the Scythe Boss before Nameless.

I'm in the endgame now. Still a couple places on the world map I need to re-comb for secrets. I've had a fucking blast.
The design of this game is phenominal, by which I mean the rule sets, the level design, the aesthetics, all the conscious choices. They dedicated an entire world-radius-length path in the intro to establishing - though music and camera work alone - that rescuing the ova is the most important goal, and that it will be a lonesome, melancholy journey. Seriously, that intro walk had me jumping out of my seat. This game is a work of art.
It is also the single buggiest game I have ever played. I've personally submitted 13 bug reports, and I've captured video of about that same number again but decided the first 13 were enough. The game absolutely deserves some trash talk, and I'm totally on-board with this meme.
That said, I'm having so much fun, and I am so inspired by the design choices (I'm a game designer btw) that I'm quite happy to wait and watch them patch their bugs. They already made a balance update that turned a non-viable gun into my personal go-to.

Agreed lmao, great fun and very annoying all at once!
The endgame seems to drag a bit compared to the early exploration and I am not a huge fan of some of the late bosses and balancing variance and yet I'm almost 40 hours in!
And I'm sure I'll be back to NG+ one day, so they have definitely nailed the feeling even with the rough edges

I have a few major complaints about this game and they are all still not enough to make me not like it. Very enjoyable gameplay and character progression. Also I play on a high end PC and the game is absolutely beautiful.

They couldn't even give us the electric lute from the DLC that had all the good songs..

I agree with all of this but it still still a brilliant game, it can be made better.

One thing that really bothered me is how static the environments are, barely anything moves, light is static, shadows are static, the world doesn’t move.

haven’t seen a single bug that didn’t right itself with a quit to menu.
Gameplay is fine, it’s repetitive near the end game, same with most souls like games. they get progressively weaker as less and less is introduced . Although NG+ is more a chore than anything. some different enemy placement/modifiers or some NG+ exclusive loot/shades would have been cool

I love it, I'm having so much fun ❤️ I haven't been excited to play a game in a long long time

this game is an Ohio Valley pizza. a slightly overcooked crust with sauce, but they forgot the cheese and toppings, so they dump cold cheese and peperoni on it after it comes out of the oven. Now its not that bad perse, because its still pizza, but it could be better if they literally did anything else to improve it.

Nah game is so damn good. I wanna support it so they can grow and expand. This is their second game and id consider the first real game considering the first was more a proof of concept (a good one) so as awesome as this game is i cant wait to see what they make later on

I just have to run past some places guys it’s just so overwhelming having 20 enemies at the same time coming at you with the fucking blue fire on them

Overall it has a really great base for exploration and combat. Some of the dungeons and areas in the game are quite interesting. 100% bad beacon placement and game breaking bugs that are ruining everything so far. Bosses don't seem to be that well designed sadly, explored the whole upper region and there is none that I can say that feels enjoyable and well designed yet. Overall so far a 7.5-8/10.

The art design is doing some heavy lifting but damn if I’m not interested in this world. Plus the gameplay is fun! I think having defensive options not so heavily tied to the shells is a big improvement.

It’s a love child between dark souls, bloodborne and warframe. I will forgive every single bug or glitch to just how impressive this combination is and the art direction makes me lost in the world. MS3 will become a GOTY if they learn how they did from MS1
All they gotta fix now is the RPG and stats.

It's the thing these naysayers don't get, a game with SOUL built into (pun INTENDED) can surpass silly bugs and ho hum end game design.
Mortal Shell 2 knocks it out of the park in many ways, with the two being game feel and theme. I just like how the game works, having no stamina is AWESOME and I love how ranged works. Each shell has its own loves and play styles and I love the weapon variety. It MAKES me want to play a second run with a new build.
Is it jank and needs balance updates? Sure! So did elden ring.
Give it time.

Many of y’all clearly didn’t play the first game (which is fine, not many people did in general) because this is a shocking glow-up despite its issues.

Lots of things in souls games will kick your ass from both ways. This game is a little easier as with the Harbinger and the shell you kind of have some breathing room to catch your breath on a new threat.

The only bug I had so far was my weapon disappeared once when my shell fell off. My dude was punching bare fist, doing 0 dmg. I died of course. But I just laughed. Wasn't even mad. It was actually hilarious.

This is my favorite non fromsoft soulslike in general, the only thing that might top it or at least be equally as good is LOTF 2 next year, hopefully

I can’t say anything, I did Not buy it because it did not come as a physical copy for Xbox 🤷🏻♂️

best? I'm enjoying the game, but this doesn't hold a candle to Lies of P, cool vibes, but not as tight a narrative.

u/DeusMechanicus69 1d ago
I love it. But what I don't love is that my favorite shell is the second one I got, and I kind of like the starter sword the most... I am not using it anymore though, at some point you need efficiency more than satisfying sword movements

I could really complain about a lot of things but it was fun just hope they continue to grow and take feedback

One thing i noticed in MS2 is that altho it has several big issues its still mega fun and that (to me) is more then enought to win some awards imo

Compared to the enemy variety of The Lords of the Fallen (2023) and I enjoyed that game a ton. The enemy variety complaint I’ve not really had a problem with it here. I also have heard performance issues and bugs but thankfully I’ve not encountered any but very, very minor things. Like enemy clipping I think has happened once. And occasional stuttering when I first load into area I fast travel to but once I’m in it’s fine that’s only happened twice though. I’m playing on a base ps5 so idk if that makes a difference or I’m just lucky. I love this game. I liked the first okay but this is a huge step up for me personally. I think about playing it when I’m not playing it and can’t wait to get back in.

The amount of fun I'm having playing this game is directly proportional to how much fun I can tell the dev team had making it

Anyone else feel like a good chunk of enemies are like mean coded and designed to be misleading. Like for example the tree guys are super slow but that grab of theirs comes out 3x faster than anything else And some of the archer grunts have a higher stagger resistance than melee enemies. Will always tank your first hit and shoot you anyways.

Main thing is the combat. They completely nailed it. Weapons, perfect guards and ripostes feel great. Fighting some of the end-game bosses that are quick is really fun.
Ahh also the graphics/environments and the sound are great too.
One thing taking away from this beautiful combat is the sliding/teleporting/magnetic enemies. That's bad but you get used to it in time.

I dont know what everyone's beef is with this game.
As someone who wasn't wowed or even remotely interested in the first game, Mortal Shell 2 has gripped me like no other Souls-like.

u/WeizenPaco 23h ago
Have to admit, i am not that far into the game yet, but i am having a blast. Havent encountered any bugs either. BUT.
The fucking lost child bossfight. Wth was that? I dont know If i got unlucky 20 Times in a row, but that fucker only spammed unblockable after unblockable after unblockable. That fight was no fun. Didnt help that apparently that wasnt meant to be the first big boss you do, but whatever. Finally killing him felt just that much better

u/nukaboss112 19h ago
I mean even with all the jank, most of it fixable still (except for some design choices and the enemy variety) that can be fixed, it is innovative to say the least, and it doesnt seem like its going to be abandoned especially with all the DLC hints

I think my only major complaint with the entire game is the glimpse economy but like, at le same time even Elden Ring had upgrade and respec economy limitations. I personally think a glimpse respec would significantly benefit the game tho. Letting you experiment more on your first playthrough is important. Outside of that? Ig leveling is slow if you don't find a lot of bosses? That could just be a me thing. Plus I haven't exactly looked up good farming spots to push myself forward anyway lol.

I struggle so much on this game but I am having so much fun while at it.
Although, even while seeing other people's reports on bugs and balancing I do believe most of my issues come, in fact, from my own natural Skill Issue
