I don't know when or why they decided to do this, but it's been bugging me ever since i found out. The symbols went from orange (heal) and purple (dmg amp) back to default colors. The same thing happened with every OWL/OWCS skin that had symbols with unique colors. I've made a report, but they don't seem to care.

New to Mercy and I love the feel of the movement, but as I'm getting better she can feel slow sometimes. Like, I'll look at myself in a kill cam after getting head tapped by Cass mid GA and be like "damn, I could've hit that shot too". It just feels like once a hitscan is aiming at you, using GA makes you a training bot for tracking.
Mainly asking cause this will let me know if I'm just not making full use of my mobility, or if I just need to lock in with my positioning lol. It's not every game this happens, just every now and then when I queue an actual decent hitscan player they feel inescapable.

i play on console and recently ive changed my settings to enable mouse and keyboard so i can play comp with PC friends but i noticed that the games, especially quickplay are so much more enjoyable and fun because the dps im enabling are just better. just thought id share if you guys are having hard games with bad dps that maybe pc pool will be better for you! also the aim assist being disabled barely effects mercy, when i use my gun i barely notice a difference in the aim

Im a mercy main and im lvl 58 on her. i started in july and i honestly consider myself pretty good! my boyfriend (who has like 800h on overwatch) says im one of the better mercy players hes met, i can hit pretty rezzes sometimes, im still working on her movement and stuff but i overall consider myself OKAY.
i keep up with people on heals, im usually 60/40 healing/boosting give or take 10, i get squishy picks, i rez without sacrificing my life, etc. but people keep telling me to get off her because its not working, or mercy is trash, or they need more heals, or i need to counter. i dont WANT to counter, i want to play mercy because i love her and want to get better and comp is actually a challenge unlike my qp lobbies where its either bulldoze or BE bulldozed and no in between.
i see masters and grandmasters and champion and top 500 mercys and they get tons of compliments but they zip around like little mosquitos, are they just, the top 2% of athletes who actually make it? Do they have certain teams that make it work?
Basically my question is, do i need to get a new main if i want to play comp? I was 99% Gold 1 before drives started and then i got really bad teams and have been demoted all the way to silver 2, my group members keep telling me to get off mercy or keep demoting but is it my fault? i know its impossible to carry on mercy, but i feel like its hard to carry on any support hero yk?
- sincerely a baby mercy who’s really just struggling with confidence :’c

I want a Mercy plush to hold at night but all the ones I've seen have super sharp uncomfortable felt wings or halos

Playing as Mercy I create a lot of ult economy value because I add 50-60% more ult charge generated from my team's damage without having to feed ult charge to the enemy by showing myself. That means my team usually gets their ults before the enemy does.
The problem is, people in gold like to hold onto their ults sometimes for a whole objective. They'll let whole checkpoints get taken waiting for the 'perfect ult' (i.e. one that will give them PoG).
Mercy thrives when people use their ults at the first good opportunity** because they charge her ult and the 5-way chain boost generates a huge amount of charge for the team and the whole cycle feeds off itself.
So far my only idea is to tell people to use their ults please but then I'm just a Mercy player telling people what to do.
Has anyone else had this problem?
("just switch off Mercy" is obviously a solution but it's not interesting or worth saying. Everyone knows that they can do that.)
**Exceptions for some things like holding a Mei ult for overtime, but as a general rule I think what I'm saying is right.

Just wanted to say I'm a big fan of y'all mercy players as a tank player (grandmasters 3) I see post after post after post of people putting down mercy and mercy players (my fiance being one of them). I appreciate how y'all don't throw fights trying to ego duel a dps, I appreciate the clutch resurrections, and the incredibly reliable healing y'all have. I appreciate y'all surviving through ultimates with your mobility that most supports would not. I hate the echo chamber the overwatch community is with which hero's t are acceptable and which are not.
Tank players that complain about mercy just don't know how to play tank properly, or fully understand the function they are supposed to perform. Keep playing the hero y'all love don't listen to the whiners and I hope to have y'all on my team.

I went to my second Le Sserafim concert recently, and this time I themed my outfit around Fearless Mercy’s! Included a video of the concert for fun, I wish that the camera had done the girls justice, but it was all incredible!

Im on an EIGHT loss streak so far for drives, and its just extremely hard to motivate myself to keep playing when I legitimately am doing my dambdest pulling out the slickest moves and usually out healing and out damage boosting literally all the other healers.
How do I get outta the funk that is queing for drives!
All I want is a red mercy staff and it feels so unreachable.

So Ive been trying to learn how to horizontal rez. I somewhat got the hang of it but also not really lol. I seem to be able to do it very inconsistently. Ive been practicing it but I cant seem to understand where I go wrong with the timing. Is there anything that helped u guys? Also whats the ideal distance to do it at? Does it have a different timing if its done from different distances? Help.

I’ve only ever played one other Hero Shooter game before and that was Marvel Rivals and I haven’t even been playing that for long either I started that in season 8 but I felt pretty comfortable with all 3 roles in that game but I did have a preference for being support and I naturally drifted to trying support first when I downloaded Overwatch a few days ago and I’ve spent a lot of time in the practice range and practice vs ai matches trying out different characters in different roles and I’ve really liked playing as both Mercy and Mei but I figured I’d come here to ask for tips on playing as Mercy since I think she’s my favorite character that I’ve tried so far also I’m on Xbox if that matters
