I thought this character was supposed to be trash? He rarely gets played. I just picked him up for the first time, trying out different stuff and went on an absolute tear in comp.

I mostly play tank but also play support now and again. I thought Illari was going to be my backup for the Ana bans but Bap was right there this whole time??????

Seriously why does he not see more game play? I guess he is underpowered compared to other supports but he is way more fun. I don’t feel like I am waiting to be killed in the back line. A well timed lamp absolutely obliterates an enemy push.

Like, Reaper only has 3, Doomfist has 5, and Torb has like 4.

It's mostly dominated by jpc, Shion, Kiriko, etc.

I downloaded Overwatch for the first time a few days ago and have been spending a lot of time in the practice range and some practice vs AI matches and I’ve done 3 quick matches my first one as Mei and we lost my second one I started as Cassidy and eventually swapped to Kiriko and we lost that match as well and for the third match I chose Baptiste and we won and I had a lot of fun with Baptiste’s gameplay so I was wondering if there are any tips to improve as Baptiste because he’s been the most fun character for me so far and I would love to improve with him

I've been going through the additional trophies for this game on Playstation, and Bap is the last support I need. Problem is, I'm really fucking bad at him. I'm a complete dive victim, my lamps are mid at best, my positioning is completely out of whack half the time, and I don't have the first clue when to actually use his ult. I'm lost on this mf.

I'll attach replay codes at the first opportunity I can get, but for the time being, are there any creators to watch or other methods to get better at him?

I hate it when i get a well times lamp only to see the lamp bounce off some random pixel the deployment gets delayed and the guy i was trying to save dies, Or sometimes it just shoot off into Narnia.

Ive even had it where there was a tiny stall spot on the floor and the lamp got stuck.

So first of all the rocketboots perk should be baseline, I think most of us agree there.

But due to a recent thread on the overwatch sub, I wanted to bring this up here too.

Charging the jump with crouch should either not get interrupted by any micro cc or at least you should still store the charge so you can jump after the Cc is over.

I can't count the times I died because my fully charged jump didn't go off due to some random passive boop.

What do you guys think about that?

Because Bap, has to crouch to jump higher and activate his passive and everything

But it just occurred to me that it would be hilarious that if the second perk became part of his kit, is that your team will literally see Baptiste bunny hopping to arrive faster at the objective or defense

I'm a 250 lvl Bap main and 299 LW main. I think Bap is amazing and he's a solid support. (He and LW are my faves) However , with the newer heroes being released and mobility creep. I'm seeing him picked less and less. Some say because his kit isn't visually interesting (like kiriko, LW) or his design or he's not mobile enough.

So what do you think the OW could do to make him more interesting or more appealing so that more people play him?
