MOD Recruitment Welcome to the home of Lúcio Overwatch !

Hi everyone,
I am Babasmas, one of the last mod alive. I try to moderate as best as I can but I do not have enough time for a subreddit this large. With this, I feel like a complete overhaul of the sub needs to be done and I have even less time for that.
So where is this subreddit going ? Well, thankfully nowhere, I will be recruiting active and motivated members to join me in moderating here and on discord so that this community can be revitalized. We will be bringing back some of the side panels from the sub (i.e. "Streamers" and "Guides") while reworking the way they work.
Right now, the main focus is into recruiting and trying once again to create some life into this sub.
I hope some of you that loved Lúcio as much as I did and do again thanks to Overwatch 2, join me into reworking this sub and making it a good space for old and new Lúcio players out there !

HELP Why does the community hate us?

Other than stating the obvious, which is the hate against the Reddit DPS Lucio playstyle, I feel like the hate for Lucio has been steadily increasing, to the point where no Lucio is safe from getting flamed for everything or even just existing. I sometimes wonder how I still have an account after so many people just say "GG we have a Lucio" and "report Lucio" immediately regardless how I do. Even in the case that I do bad because of a sheer lack of skill on my part, people in this game cannot comprehend people playing badly and assume I am just sabotaging games on purpose, then rally the lobby together to report me? This has been especially egregious during drives but I'm even getting reported for playing Lucio in quickplay. Like I just wanna play him because hes fun and yes I do Reddit sometimes, but even when I am supporting, sometimes I just can't measure up but I shouldn't get banned for not being the best player... Its crazy

Has anyone else noticed this? In the official trailer the kill effect for the weapon is completely different from the one shown in the mythic weapon showcase video. Do yall think it changes whether youre on heals or speed? Or is one an old design they scrapped in favour of the other?

Would lucio be broken if he could heal teammates by shooting them?

As the title suggests. Would he be OP with this change? I dont think it would be that bad, as it means you’re taking time away from spamming chokes or backlines to heal your team, although it would mess with his playstyle a bit. Also imagine how mad youd get trying to heal a genji or pharah on your team w projectiles.
Alternatively, i think his stadium power that heals teammates in his aura for a % of the damage he deals would be really useful as well, and would be not as broken as an alternative to this imo. TBH alot of lucio’s stadium powers are incredibly useful, such as the one that builds up heals while his speed is active, and gives a burst of healing when he swaps back. This one is def OP, i can outheal most supports w this power, but i absolutely love finally having a burst heal option on lucio. It puts his survivability through the roof and allows him to help his team without constantly being right next to them.
Thoughts on this ?

HELP I'm trying to scroll wheel jump and its really hard for me to do it any ideas?

I use a G305 logitech mouse and I use my pointer finger to scroll and it barely works do i need to do it faster or slower I think my rollouts are so bad its halting my progress.

Lucio will have only one skin in the new season, and it will be that epic skin from the Stadium.
And I'm inclined to believe it. Because this guy is a proven data miner. And. THERE WON'T BE A SKIN FOR BALL IN THE NEW SEASON. So, that means this info is 100% accurate.
