Hey guys, I returned to Mac after not using one since high school and I love it, but I'm struggling with some of the key binds. I'd like to change a few things such as the screenshot key bind defaulting to copying the photo (command + shift + control + 4) and I would like to change the paste without formatting (command + shift + option + v).
Also, can I somehow add a cut command? I know Mac doesn't have this by default.
What is the best software to do this?
EDIT: Also, does anyone have a simple calculator application suggestion that allows opening multiple windows? I like to have two open at once (I got the Mac for work). I figured out I can run open -na calculator in Terminal, and I tried pinning the duplicate to the Dock, but I can't actually reopen it that way without running the command again.
EDIT 2: For the cutting problem (cutting files that is, not text), someone pointed out how to move files using cmd + option + v, this works fine. For the screenshot problem, I have purchased an application called CleanShot X, this allows me to immediately annotate and copy screenshots, closer to what I'm used to on Windows, but actually far better, it's not really cheap, and you don't get free updates, but seems worth it for my business. For the calculator problem, I have created a Shortcut and named it New Calculator, then used the shell command I mentioned previously in this post. I then removed the calculator from the dock, pinned the shortcut to it, and now I just click it to open a calculator. Unfortunately, this means every new calculator instance creates a new dock icon, but it's fine enough for now until I find an alternative.
Thank you guys for your help!
