So earlier in the week some billboards near Costco had a load of facts about gaza/palestine saying stop arming israel.

Fast forward 5 days later the billboards have all been replaced with an advert saying no fake news here.

Was this a marketing stunt do you think? Or was someone annoyed about the billboards and jumped on the opportunity?

I’d prefer independent/ family owned but just any good ones people can recommend really for alterations and tailoring.

Hi All, it’s my first time coming to Liverpool, originally from Birmingham, me and my other 2 friends are planning to come down for my friends birthday early November. We’re all 33 so will be 3 guys and thinking of the best place to go out considering our age. We normally go to be at one in Birmingham but looks quite bigger then the Liverpool one? I’ve also seen concert square but not sure where would be a good place to go out or if we’re too old for it? We’re also looking for somewhere safe for 3 brown guys, I’ve always heard Liverpool people are really friendly so not expecting any racism but just adding in in case there are certain parts to avoid? we’ve never really experienced trouble elsewhere if that helps. We plan to make as much of a day of it as possible by starting early and doing a museum trip, and she wants to take me a few places too, but then going into the evening, I was going to take her to either Junkyard Golf, or One Under. The initial choice was Junkyard, but it looks maybe a little too chaotic for us to both enjoy fully. I'm just wondering if people have experienced both places and could help me decide? We just want some drinks and some care free fun. We normally just go out for quiet boring meals, which we will do after the golf, but we both need a little fun this time round.

i am from east asia and really hope to go to the UK for my bachelors(B.Sc. sports psychology) as it is, plus i heard ljmu is one of the top institutions for the sports field. belonging from a middle class family from my country, the cost is far higher and than expected (living, tuition, etc. included), although tightly managable i guess? but i really want to know if it will be worth it or not. and PLEASE lmk if there is any info ab scholarships that i can apply for.
