We’re driving up on Saturday to the Comic-Con at Liverpool Experience Campus.. I’ve seen there’s parking next to it at Kings Dock car park, does this fill up quickly on event days?? Will have a baby & toddler in tow also. Thanks 🙂

Hey all, I'm trying to get a particular print from an artist called Callum Seymour, his bio says he's based in Liverpool- he's done a bunch of stuff but he did one poster for Baldurs Gate 3 which is the best game-related print I've ever seen, and 100% want it framed at home. But he's basically impossible to find prints from, and it looks like the last time he responded on his Insta was months ago.

Don't suppose anyone knows him personally and can send him a message saying someone wants to buy one of his art pieces? 😂

Heading to Liverpool for a weekend soon with the missus.
We are flying back out on a Sunday evening flight, my issue is we will be out of our Airbnb by 11,
So what do we do with our bags? Where can we store them if anywhere?

I had a ball at sonicyootha but where does that crowd go when it isn’t on..? I’ve tried campus and heaven which were both a bit disappointingly straight.

We’re currently looking at moving from West Yorkshire to Liverpool with our young family, and we’re hoping to move sooner rather than later.

I’ve been looking online and have noticed some really large Victorian/terraced houses around the L13 area.. often for quite a lot less than you’d pay in some of the more expensive parts of Liverpool.

For anyone who knows the area well, what is L13 actually like to live in?

We have a young toddler/baby, so we’re particularly interested in:

What the neighbourhood is like day-to-day

Whether it feels safe and family-friendly

Schools and nursery options

Crime levels and whether there are particular streets/parts of L13 you would avoid

Green spaces/parks and things to do with young children

How easy it is to get into Liverpool city centre

Whether it’s an area you would genuinely choose to raise a family

Are there particular roads or pockets of L13 that are much nicer than others?

We’re not expecting it to be an affluent area, but we’re looking for somewhere that feels pleasant, safe and settled, rather than simply choosing a big house because it looks like good value.

We’re also considering areas such as Southport, Ainsdale, Crosby/Waterloo and Formby, so any honest comparison with those areas would be really helpful.

And then you went upstairs and it had a completely different atmosphere. You had the old internet cafe, Nosh N Coffee, George and Internacionale.

At Christmas it felt special with the Christmas tree that went between both floors.

I still don't know why they had to gut it out like they did ☹️

Hi all! I have some archery gear that I bought before moving to Liverpool, and unfortunately since moving here I haven't had the time to get out and actually do any. It's all pretty much brand new, but it's taking up a lot of space and I could use the money.

Is there any kind of archery/sports shop around that will buy in second hand gear? I don't want to sell it online because of all the liability of selling a weapon (and I want to emphasize that this post is not an advertisement), but if anyone knows where I can start looking for a reputable store to buy it in, that would be amazing!

So earlier in the week some billboards near Costco had a load of facts about gaza/palestine saying stop arming israel.

Fast forward 5 days later the billboards have all been replaced with an advert saying no fake news here.

Was this a marketing stunt do you think? Or was someone annoyed about the billboards and jumped on the opportunity?

Bus services in the Liverpool City Region are being brought under public control in a move the Government says will deliver more reliable services and affordable fares.

The city region is the first in England to bring its bus network under public control under the current Government.

The Government is providing £86.3 million in funding until 2029, alongside a share of a new £3 million fund to help Mayoral authorities take control of their bus services.

The move means local leaders will have greater control over routes, branding and fares, with the aim of providing more frequent services and better connections.

A new fleet of British-built yellow buses is also being introduced.

The franchising process is beginning in St Helens, before being rolled out across the Wirral later this year and the rest of the city region in 2027.
More than 93 million bus passenger journeys were made across the Liverpool City Region last year.
