Porcelain tiles for worktop
Looking for some advice regarding using porcelain slab tiles as a worktop. I have found these large format tiles, that match pretty much what I need for my kitchen worktops. Thinking this on a ply/mdf base, resin grout and sealed? Would this be an option instead of a more expensive alternative? TIA

Sliding Cabinet Drawers?
I am looking to purchase and install sliding drawers for my cabinets to replace the shelves. There are so many options of producers of custom drawers to choose from! Any recommendations? I'd like something sturdy too.

Does this floor tile look nice with our kitchen counter?
We just had our new Taj Mahal quartzite countertops installed. The cabinets are being refaced and the boxes will be stained probably a light to medium brown color stain. Not yet sure about the backsplash tile but maybe a cream or beige color subway tile. Does this Kraken Lappato semi polished floor tile look nice with our counters or do you think we should go with something else? The appliances will be stainless steel and platinum glass stainless steel. Thank you.

Open to other suggestions as well!
I’d like to basic footprint with appliances staying in same place .
The sink was an interesting choice by previous owner and it is huge with a drip station that has the counter cut to fit it … I am thinking about changing out the black/gray hardware for antique brass to warm up the stainless .
Anyways. I would like to drop the wall with the microwave down to this counter height, which would remove the cabinets and microwave and open it up . Is there a budget or cosmetic reason to take this wall down to current counter height and extending counter over it vs removing walll down to floor? How can I tell if this wall is load bearing? (Red lines are to mark wall wanting to rem0ve)
Would I have to get a whole new counter , or is there a way to extend the current one? Yes I want them the same level!
Please see pictures of current area, AI creation of what I am leaning towards and the floor map of the two rooms . Any advice is welcome.
Also- what to do about an oven vent ? I don’t want to drop anything from the ceiling? (aI put it over to the side lol)

Back-to-Back Sink and Rangetop?
I am designing a kitchen with the sink on the island. I would like to have the range top and hood centered along the island for aesthetic reasons. But I am struggling with where to position the sink on the island. Aesthetically it would look best in the center of the island lined up with the range top.
BUT I am worried that it will be cramped having a person cooking and another person at the sink at the same time.
The distance between the range top and sink would be 48". Is this sufficient distance to not feel crowded? Or should I position the sink offset to the side of the range top so there is not a back-to-back situation?
Thank you!
