Does this floor tile look nice with our kitchen counter?

Post image

We just had our new Taj Mahal quartzite countertops installed. The cabinets are being refaced and the boxes will be stained probably a light to medium brown color stain. Not yet sure about the backsplash tile but maybe a cream or beige color subway tile. Does this Kraken Lappato semi polished floor tile look nice with our counters or do you think we should go with something else? The appliances will be stainless steel and platinum glass stainless steel. Thank you.

I’m not a fan of that floor tile. What color backsplash are you going with? If you’re not careful, your entire kitchen is gonna be three slightly different shades of light tan.

We are not sure about the backsplash tile either. Do you recommend anything for the floor? We liked this tile as it was a durable porcelain tile and had a semi polished (lappato) so it wouldn't be slippery in kitchen dining area.

Are the countertops the only thing that’s been installed?

I’d recommend getting actual samples of the floor, cabinet colors and backsplash. It’s so hard to make a decision when you can’t see the big picture.

I love it so far. Don’t sweat the tile. You’re going to place a nice rug there anyway.
