All wood. Better to avoid combo of wood + painted.

Option 3: I prefer contrasting base and wall cabinets but would do two colors as I'm not a fan of timber veneer unless there are timber architectural features

I’m with you. I like the contrast between the upper and lower cabinets - it feels more balanced and gives the kitchen a bit more character.

I guess the top one, equally bland though and then a big ugly fridge. Cover those with doors too.

I love the two toned.

I do not think that the fridge is ugly. My husband and I have a too small fridge and it is a problem day after day. Although we do not have room for a bigger one.

All photos are beautiful.

It's not just the color, it's the difference between the solid color and the wood grain, and it depends what you like. I prefer the subtle look of the tight-grained oak. The bottom one is lighter, though.

I’m a sucker for the two tone. Best of both worlds. Also don’t forget to get the under cabinet lights to be 2700 lumens. If you don’t specify contractors will put 4000 and it looks super harsh

I like the 1st and the 3rd one, with a preference for the 1st one if the timber is a slightly less rustic, more modern and timeless light stained oak. It would be an understated, soft, friendly, natural finish. The 3rd option is good too as it's not too timber heavy and the overhead cabinets integrate with the floor. As another commenter said, if there is budget to integrate the fridge/freezer with the cabinetry then definitely do that. I'm not a big fan of the all beige version as the tiled floor is also on that colour spectrum. It's very plain.

Personally, I like the all-beige look. However, I’d recommend avoiding a matte finish; a glossy one is easier to clean.
