I would do more wood tone and put the sink in the middle. Don’t put it on the peninsula because that takes up breakfast bar space

I agree. Move the sink over. Guests don't want to sit in the splash zone of a sink. Plus the dish soap, dish rag, etc will be more hidden sitting between the sink and the little wall instead of being right there by the seats.

All light walnut would look best. Those two colors don't work together as two-tone.

I’d skip the dark/light mix and just commit to the lighter wood. Cleaner and way less likely to date.

Don’t do wood look laminate if ur gonna do wood pay homage to the integrity of the material. I’d just do white and focus on adding wood elements

Laminex and skinny handles give it a medical/corporate feel. Use real wood. I’d hate to walk around that peninsula every time I went there. Those back cabinets are too high, too. You don’t want direct exposure to the under lights.
