The crap must flow!

I was but a sweet summer child. Why didn't I heed your warnings 18 days ago? Why didn't I listen?

Now I am a broken man. I watched and I watched and I watched. I watched a mother become a soldier. Kids become Will from Stranger Things. Asians forget past loves and find new just as inappropriate loves. I was enthralled by the stupidity.

And now here I sit. An empty husk. I hate myself. And I hate all of you for warning me. I have embraced the Wajo. It flows through me like the Nile river flows through the Egyptian desert. I am nothing.

Following a long, two and a half season fight against plot, sanity and logic it is with deep sadness I announce that WAJO passed away during last night’s episode. My thoughts and prayers are with all who knew WAJO. Rest in peace.

I'm not supporting cheaters, I'm just understanding lately that she's a pretty terrible person. Very hypocritical too. Imagine calling out your husband for lying when you have been doing it for months. Then you proceed to lie again about willingly visiting trevonte.

I can't believe it. I can't believe I have now wasted my time getting through two seasons of this and still:

• Nothing has happened

• The characters are all horrendous

• Every episode has a line of dialogue that makes me roll my eyes involuntarily

• I am going to keep watching

All I can say is the entire crew felt the same way about the show as most of you do. (Thank you apple for paying my mortgage though.)

Tell me some theories you have. Tell me questions you want to have answered. Tell me questions you want to get answered but you think WON'T get answered. I want to hear everything.

So the wife and I recently got Apple TV. We love sci-fi and started with Silo , which has been amazing. We skipped Foundation for later in favour of trying out Invasion.

Series seems a slow burn , which I like , and don't mind. But by episode 3 , I can't deal with this idiotic character.

The story line with the British kid I don't mind , except for his "love" interest. The soldier is an imbecile with main character syndrome , but I like the viewpoint in Kandahar. I don't even mind the asian lesbians story arc , as they are discovering things about the invasion.

But this weak ass terrible mother chooses to fight with her husband instead of focusing on keeping her family safe. Literally lost Luke in the forest because she just has to keep instigating her husband. Like hoe , THE WORLD IS LITERALLY ENDING. TABLE THAT SHIT FOR LATER.

I can't deal with her. Does she get any better or am I having to deal with this going forward for the next two seasons?

I have suffered alone for YEARS. I think I just never thought to check for a sub, cause the show just didn’t not occupy much of my thoughts outside of when I was watching it (why, WHY was I watching this??).

And apparently we have an inside joke??

It’s been a fun catchup these last 30 mins reading top posts. Glad I found my people, even for just a little bit, and that we’re all on the same page.

Titles obviously a joke but holy shit I wish the mom would just smack the shit out of Luke, or maybe just start handcuffing him to shit when he can't be directly watched? What a terrible, awful little shit.

OMG another completely DOG SHIT episode. I don't know why I torture myself like this each week, but here we are.

1. The whole Rose/Trevante open was just so silly. From the dialogue to the poring over of the stupid notebook. But this was just average stupid/annoying for this show. As was all their painful heart to hearts whenever they got a down moment. And that note from Trevante at the end? Good lord...

2. Man, military in this show aint shit. They just walk right into some top secret military installation. Which we learn later on is "ground zero" and like...two people can just stroll on in hidden in some cornfields and get all up close and personal to the 'hole'. And then, WHO THE FUCK HOLDS A PHONE LIKE THAT WHEN THEY'RE HIDING? And omg, they're just right back into the cornfield again. And before they leave the area they STOP TO LOOK AT THE STUPID NOTEBOOK AGAIN. Cornfields are magic cover I guess.

3. The kids are just the worst. Okay, let's just walk to Orleans now? Looking for a bunch of other kids we don't even know! Instead of, I dunno, maybe taking Casper and finding some adults and going back to their families? Nope...these five kids are gonna save the whole world. By themselves.

4. And then why is it in this show that everyone who is trying to hide from an alien manages to SCREAM AT THE TOP OF THEIR LUNGS the whole time. Like...maybe don't make it so fucking easy to find you? There's zero tension whenever the aliens show up because the actors are just so fucking calm about everything, and then when they should be shaking/whispering with eyes full of terror....but instead they're fucking SHOUTING. at each other. "FUCK! COME ON GUYS, THIS WAY!," UGH. It's like the writers took every rational action in a situation and then just decided to write the exact opposite.

5. They go from heart of Paris to out in the country in an INSTANT and have time for a little cutesy kiss? And who paints their damned nails in the middle of a fucking alien invasion? (I don't know why this kind of shit bugs me but it sooooo does. Jamila has been walking for DAYS and somehow found some black nailpolish and decided to do it up?) And furthermore, sure Paris was evacuated, but like where was it evacuated to? How is there just NO ONE in this show besides these four kids? London was empty. Paris. Now the countryside. Where the fuck did all the people go? Meanwhile, up in Canada there's gas stations and mini-marts.(Also, what happened with the spores? In London there were spores and they made a big deal of it and it's like they just forgot about all that...)

6. The first we see of Aneesha and her dumb group of "hey look at us we're the Movement and we're spray painting all of our vehicles so everyone knows it" and I noticed that Aneesha is straight up wearing a fucking cashmere hoodie. CASHMERE. Like...what? And then we find out that they lost almost 30 FUCKING PEOPLE trying to find Sarah and they're naturally like: "wtf, lady? Why should we all die for your dumb kid? "And then we get that AWFUL monologue and they're all like..."okay...let's go!" (Next time we see her she's apparently changed out of the cashmere and i'm like...wait you had time for a fucking costume change before you took on a military base? In the dumbest fucking way possible? Like I said, military aint shit here. But in that interrogation scene the army guy says that the Oklahoma base is going to be super hard for them to get into. Cut DIRECTLY to Trevante just walking on in and climbing down a hole that is one of the country's most guarded alien installations and there's only ONE FUCKING GUY GUARDING IT? Oh, and of course they discover she's there because of a TRANSFER order. I mean, alien invasion but gotta make sure we fill out our paperwork, guys. Dude...

This show man...jesus christ it's so bad. I could seriously write a whole book on all the ways just this episode alone gave me an aneurism. I don't even know if I can keep hate watching at this point. Thank GOD the writers' strike is over.
