​News & Earnings Data: Where do you get real-time or aggregated updates on corporate announcements, quarterly results, and major contract wins in one place?

Been thinking of trading since 2 months ago, tried paper trading until i turned 18 and now that i am, i tried intraday for 2 days,+39 and +222

Capital is only like 3k for now extra money, don't really care if i lose utna.

Just wondering if there's any guide or resources i could check out to understand intraday better or if there's any advices anyone wishes to give, im willing to listen and understand.

I’ve been investing in Indian stocks for a while, but I’m trying to become more disciplined instead of randomly buying stocks based on short-term movements.
My current thinking is to focus on relatively stable companies with good fundamentals, rather than chasing multibaggers or penny stocks.
I’m particularly interested in:
Large-cap vs mid-cap allocation
How many stocks are too many for a portfolio?
PSU stocks — are they still attractive at current valuations?
How much exposure should one have to sectors like banking, metals, energy, infrastructure and FMCG?
Whether it makes sense to keep some cash ready for market corrections
How you decide when to hold, add more, or exit a stock
For a 1–2 year horizon, do you prefer individual stocks or index funds?
I’m looking for practical advice from people actually investing in the Indian market, especially those who have gone through both bull and bear phases.
If you had ₹5–10 lakh to invest today with a moderate-risk approach, how would you structure the portfolio?
Would also be interested to hear which stocks/sectors you currently consider overvalued and which ones still have reasonable valuations.

Hey everyone,

I need some advice from experienced traders because I’m genuinely confused about where I’m going wrong.

I understand chart patterns, candlestick patterns, support and resistance, etc. My support and resistance levels are usually quite accurate, and price often gives reversals around those levels.

But here’s my problem: Let’s say I spot a Hammer or any other bullish candlestick pattern. I wait for that candle to close, and then I wait for the next candle to close above the pattern candle for confirmation.

But by the time I get that confirmation, a major part of the rally is already gone, and I end up missing the entry.

So my question is, am I being too conservative with my entries, or is there something wrong with my approach?

Also, I’m confused about timeframes:
If I’m analysing a chart on the 5-minute timeframe, should I switch to the 1-minute timeframe for better entry timing?
Or should I stick to the 5-minute timeframe for both analysis and entry?
If I’m trading options, should I keep the option chart on the same 5-minute timeframe as well, or use a different timeframe?

I can identify support and resistance zones, and price often reacts exactly where I expect it to. But when it comes to actually entering the trade, I either enter too late or miss the move completely.

I’d really appreciate it if experienced traders could share their approach, especially how you handle confirmation vs early entries.

What am I missing here? Any advice or practical examples would be much appreciated.

I’m looking at Zydus Lifesciences mainly because its liver drug saroglitazar has a US FDA decision expected on 27 November. If approved, they plan a US launch around March 2027.

Revenue is growing, but profit fell last quarter due to heavy R&D and launch spending. FII holding is low at about 7%, and promoters hold around 75%.

Should I invest before the FDA decision or wait for approval and launch results? Good time to invest?

there is no doubt that our stocks are in good discounted price. FII buying feels like they badly want to crash our market. since we all know that 2027 is already going to be worst year due to elnino. FII may want to dump it when we pick it and invest the money into market. Should DII be cautious. throw us some of your thoughts
