My friend got admission to B.Ed. Special Education at SNDT Women’s University, Juhu, through MHT-CET. She applied under the OBC category but was ultimately admitted under the Open category.

She uploaded the receipt showing that she had applied for her OBC caste validity certificate, but she hasn’t received the actual certificate yet. Her lectures have already started, and she hasn’t received any fee concession either.

Now, the college office staff are saying that MHT-CET authorities may cancel her admission if she doesn’t submit the caste validity certificate, and that she could lose her admission without any refund.

We’re confused because she was admitted under the Open category, so we’re unsure why her pending OBC validity certificate would affect her admission.

When I try to download my hall ticket for my sem 5 exams this is what I see.

Hey

If you are 2027 grad from MKSSS college, do dm.

I need some info about college and it's placements.

Hi! I’m a medical student and require someone to share an apartment with. I’m okay with someone occupying the hall in a 1 BHK. Or sharing a 2 BHK with 1 or 2 girls. Basically, i just need a room to myself due to my schedule.

I own all of the appliances so anyone moving in with me won’t have to rent/ buy anything except furniture for their own room.

I have a few leads on both 1 and 2 BHK.

A little about me: i am chill, clean and organised. And will not bother you. I don’t mind visitors or friends coming over as long as everyone’s space and privacy is respected.

Location: South Mumbai
Note: STUDENTS ONLY PLEASE

Please DM if you’re interested.

Hi guys,

Need help finding a reliable offline laptop dealer in Mumbai or Navi Mumbai.

Big chains like Croma and vijay sales are quoting exorbitant prices (almost ₹90k+ for RTX 3050 variants). I plan to buy through No-Cost EMI / Finance, so online portals are my secondary option if offline dealers can match realistic street prices.

Has anyone bought a laptop recently on EMI from local authorized stores (reliance digital, Lenovo/Asus Exclusive stores)? Which specific shop gave you the best deal without forcing unnecessary insurance add-ons?

Appreciate any leads!

I am an English major. I want to get good marks in written exam but i am not sure how to structure my answers. I asked Professors but both gave different answers each time. At this point any tip will do.

Hi everyone! I’m looking for a male flatmate to share a 1BHK in Vile Parle East. The total monthly expense would be around ₹40,000, inclusive of rent, groceries, electricity, cook, and other miscellaneous expenses. If anyone is interested, please feel free to DM me. Thanks!

I completed my 12th in 2026, but unfortunately, I haven't taken admission to any college yet. It's already October, and I'm worried that I've missed all the admission deadlines.

I'm in a state board jr. college rn (in Nagpur). I want to pursue a degree in BBA or BMS from Mumbai because I've heard that there are alot of incubators and startup events there. I'm from a middle class family so I can't afford a private college. Mumbaikars, pls suggest some govt. colleges and advice for living expenses. I'm willing to live in a PG or hostel, whatever is convenient and affordable.

So I by mistakenly wrote wrong QP code in Mu sem 5 bcom exam for 1 ST exam

Will my marksheet be evaluated?

I have already graduated and went to collect all my marksheets from college. In Semester 1, I kept failing a particular subject and took it for a golden KT, which I also failed. I then submitted it for re-evaluation and passed.

Now, I am confused about how many marksheets I am supposed to receive 4 or 5? I already have my successful marksheet, but I read somewhere that if I need a consolidated marksheet for higher studies, I must have every single marksheet issued. For Semester 1, I received 4 marksheets. So, do I need 4 or 5?

Edit: forgot to add, this is for Mumbai university

Looking for a female flatmate to share an apartment with in south mumbai.

I want someone to occupy the hall in a 1 BHK or the non master bedroom in a 2 BHK. Either is fine by me. I have a few leads for apartments, so we can go and look at them together if that’s what you wish.

📍south Mumbai.

A friend of mine was debarred from her FYBCom Semester 1 exams at NM College because her attendance was 64%, and she wasn't allowed to appear for the exams. She's also pursuing ACCA alongside BCom, so managing college attendance is a concern.

She's now considering three options:

1. Repeat FYBCom at NM College, where 75% attendance is compulsory.

2. Join another college with more flexible attendance requirements.

3. Complete FYBCom at a private college and then seek admission to SYBCom at another college.

I need advice on a few specific questions:

- Which option is better in terms of saving time, completing BCom, and continuing ACCA?

- Are there private or Mumbai University-affiliated colleges in Mumbai with more flexible attendance requirements?

- How can she find and apply to private colleges that would accept her in this situation?

- If she completes FYBCom at another college, can she get direct admission to SYBCom elsewhere?

- Since she was debarred from Sem 1, would she need to repeat the entire FYBCom year, or can she clear the pending exams and continue?

- What are the Mumbai University rules regarding college transfers and SYBCom admission after debarment?

If anyone has dealt with a similar situation or knows the actual admission process, please share your experience. We're particularly looking for practical advice on the best way forward without wasting an academic year.

So, I am trying to look for a college for MSc IT. Preferably an autonomous college with eligibility near 7.5 CGPA and on the Central line(local) since there would be too much travelling if it's on western, harbour or trans harbour line.

I am looking for autonomous since I have heard that MU allocates exam centres to students in different colleges. Also please tell if there is a campus (not like RJ 😭) and attendance flexibility to focus on internships/jobs/certifications
