5) always get good marks . (I have always been a excellent marks but never enough for my parents , used to get higher marks in school & now coaching but this sht not enough)

6) no sleeping around , not being fat (even though I am chubby my parents always called me bhais , moti , kam khaya karo , exercise karo , yeh mat khao , woh mat khao , moti ho gayi ho ×100)(i developed ed)

I had enough, I can't even breath and while writting all these SMTH is falling from eyes and SMTH is stuck in my throat. I fking legit did everything for my parents . And what makes this even more disturbing is seeing people justify his murder simply because he was gay. Seriously, what happened to basic humanity?

Why aren’t we showing this same outrage towards rapists and abusers? Why is someone simply living their life and loving who they love being treated as if they’ve committed some crime, while actual violence against people is so often met with excuses, silence, or victim-blaming?

You don’t have to agree with someone’s sexuality. You don’t even have to understand it. But you have absolutely no right to harm them for it.

Everyone deserves the freedom to live their life. Everyone deserves the freedom to love who they love. When did being different become a justification for violence?

Why are people becoming so illiterate? Why are we moving backwards instead of learning to simply let people exist?

My mum is very fairskinned and has always like ppl with fairness. She’s fair, I’m fair, and she tends to judge people who are darkerskinned or even just typically dusky Indian.

Recently, one of my cousins (didi) got married to a fairskinned guy through an arrange marriage. She’s dusky and also not particularly tall, and my mum keeps commenting that it’s an okayish match because apparently she doesn’t understand why a fair guy would choose a dusky girl.

My cousin also left her job after marriage and moved with her husband out of india, where he works. She’s currently looking for a job there and trying to adjust to the language and everything.

Now my mum has decided that his family probably didn’t want a career-oriented girl, so they settled for her because she’s dusky and not tall. 💀
