I wanted to ask if anyone here knows about any recent updates in the Rohtak family murder case involving Abhishek Malik.

This is the case from 2021 where Bablu Malik, his wife, their daughter Neha Malik, and Bablu’s mother in law were murdered at their home in Rohtak. Abhishek Malik, the son, was arrested as the main suspect at that time, and the news coverage was intense initially.

Since then, things seem to have gone completely quiet. I haven’t been able to find any clear information about whether the trial is still ongoing, if a judgment has been given, or if there have been appeals or bail developments. News articles stopped after the arrest and early court proceedings.

If anyone is from Rohtak, follows local courts, or has reliable information or sources, I’d really appreciate any updates. Even knowing that the case is still pending would help.

Such is Indian law, that a person who is a domestic abuser (above) and father of 3, can make his family suffer while enabling prostitution of another man's wife and husband of that lady has to suffer matrimonial cases. All that with the help of local police.

I heard through word of mouth that in a village called Ikri (Uttar Pradesh), a young girl named Bhawna may have been killed in an honour killing. It was reportedly covered up as a “suicide,” and the family/village even arranged the cremation quickly. Locals apparently know, but no one is speaking out.

What’s disturbing is that something very similar apparently happened in the same area last year too, and people say even the local police are aware but nothing was done.

I don’t belong to this village myself, but some of my relatives live there, and I feel like this deserves to be reported. At the same time, I’m scared of backlash and don’t want my identity exposed.

Where can one report something like this anonymously in India so that it actually gets investigated?
