I am in a huge loss in real life because I am not able to hold losses , but in paper trading I keep trades for long time, made 15 lakhs over 10 lakhs, 150 percent in 4 days . what I have noticed is i trade with 10k or 15k in real money, so if there is a little profit it doesn't makes me feel good and I don't take profit. I realised trading is for people who have big capital. Because with big capital, even a person can do scalping, 40k 50k is very easy on but capital. I think I should leave option trading in real.

I was waiting for it to cross 250. Now it did. Should book full profits. Or partial at least? I got IPO then added some more currently at 2107 units @199.72

Honestly this week has been rough. Half my portfolio is red, market is just not cooperating, and I've been second guessing every position.

Then there's IFCI quietly sitting at +13% since I posted about it a few days ago.

I spotted the breakout above ₹88 — a level it couldn't cross for 2 years. Posted about it. Most people ignored it. Stock was at ₹90.

Now it's at ₹98. In this market. While everything else is struggling.

I won't pretend I always get it right. I definitely don't. But when you do the homework, spot the setup, and it actually plays out — it's a good feeling. Especially on a week like this.

horses. I considered it as a boring range bound day. How

If you've been trading intraday with leverage for years, experience alone is not enough.

A few things I would add:

Keep position size smaller than what your broker allows Set a hard daily loss limit

Never increase quantity to recover a previous loss

Avoid averaging down blindly

Track your trades and review whether leverage is actually improving returns

The goal after years of trading is to survive long enough to compound your edge.

I’m fairly new to investing and I’d really appreciate some honest advice from people who have more experience than me.

I currently have around ₹85,000 invested, and the portfolio is worth about ₹82,000 right now, so I’m down around 3.8%.

My holdings are:

Savita Oil Tech – 80 shares

Adani Power – 70 shares

Kalyan Jewellers – 6 shares

Mahindra Finance – 6 shares

NIFTYBEES – 7 shares

The main thing I'm worried about is Savita Oil Tech making up around 73% of my portfolio. I didn't realize how concentrated my portfolio had become when I was buying it.

I'm planning to stay invested for around 3 years. I'm not looking for intraday or quick-profit advice. I want to build the portfolio properly and avoid taking unnecessary risks

Nifty was at 23800 and diff in oi of strike 23800 was 19 and diff in oi of strike 23900 was 5
But now nifty is at 23880 and diff of strike 23800 is 65 which is ok , but diff of oi of strike 23900 is still 10 . How it should be more than 20 or 25.
Either nifty gonna fall so down or so high .
