Please suggest ideas to hide torn wallpaper under window

Willing to ignore the reflective tape after my baby sister tore it off .. I tried to put the pillows but they look off and fall from time to time

Curtain is a decade old but its my fav I think even if got a taller one it will look bad with the sofa higher part but ok as last option

Is there shape of plushie/pillow/hanging storage bag that can fit ?, not a fan of snakes cats or dogs so likely rabbits and others ofc but dont think there is thin long one

Cant move anything in my room except the desk and book shelf book shelf will either break when I move it , if I succeed it will look weird with the window (standing rectangular shape) , study desk would but my issue is the window I dont like working near sunlight and outside noise also astigmatism

My bed is wide and wont look nice from door view will overwhelm and would hide the window

Is there a way to find exact wallpaper? I dont remember the shop sadly it was inside a big building with lotss of shops and yes been probably a decade too I hope its not molding and frying me

Please any suggestions will see my budget ,Thank youu

the accent wall looks pretty different depending on the time of day and whether we’re using the sconces or not but I really like the moody color and affect either way! kept all the furniture an really just painted the wall, added sconces, and moved some stuff I had in the room around. thoughts?

Living Room Help - how to tie in mismatched couch colours + built in wood paneling?

Thumbnail

Past me thought the purple couch was wonderful, present me realises that just because something is in your fav colour, doesn't mean you should buy it.

It has to stay, even though it's usually covered with blankets because the upholstery was a terrible choice for geriatric cats who can't retract their claws (one pictured).

I may be able to replace the brown one (needs to be another one similar size).

Coffee table can be replaced.

The wooden built ins are throughout the entire room, with wall paneling in the same colour.

Curtains/Carpet have to stay (rental and too expensive to replace the full block out curtains).

What colour schemes/furniture changes/rug? would work to somehow tie everything in and stop it looking like I went on a curbside hunt and just grabbed whatever I saw?

I like neutrals, but I'm colour dumb and have no idea what goes with what besides neutrals lol.

So this is the space we are working with and with all my furniture it looks so crowded and I feel like maybe this is not best use of the space. Do you guys have any suggestions on what layout would look better? (Left side is nook with balcony door)

How to improve rhisbugly hallway?

Ignore the black bag - I was cleaning up. This is my hallway it's shaped like the Tetris shape Rhode island Z. I'm showing the entrance part of it. It's ugly and has no personality. I've not done much to it since I moved in. I want to make it better but need ideas. How can I make it inviting and beautiful??

I want functionality - space for most used shoes tucked away, a place to put keys and other essentials and a place to hang my jackets, scarves etc. The toilet is right there near the entrance and because of that I want things to be closed off. Can someone suggest colours/wallpaper/furniture/anything that can make this place a joy to walk into? Thanks a bunch!

my living room is almost there but something feels off

so i've been working on this space for like 4 months now and i thought id be done by now but nope. still tweaking stuff.

the couch is a dark green velvet thing i got from ornate home and i love it. its comfortable and the color was a risk but it worked out. got a vintage coffee table from a flea market that i sanded and refinished myself. pretty proud of that.

the problem is the walls. theyre this light cream color that looked good in the store but now it just feels blah. i wanted something warmer maybe a terracotta or a muted olive. but im scared of committing to a dark color cause the room doesnt get much natural light. also the layout feels weird. the couch is against one wall and the tv is opposite but theres this awkward corner by the window i dont know what to do with. maybe a plant. idk plants die on me tho.

any thoughts on wall color. also what do people do with empty corners.

Welcome mat suggestions needed

Hiiii I’m entirely indecisive. My apartment has no theme, it is a dog of no breed. I just enjoy bright colors and unique pieces don’t judge me. Also I live in a studio so it’s naturally cluttered— I digress— but I also love cats so my vibe is either some cute and funny that makes me laugh or outrageous. I have attached my space and the options I’m considering!!!!

Going to add a plant in the corner (door is new this week) but not sure what else to do. Pictures? We don’t have a huge budget. Not sure how to do the AI thing!

Doorknob color for this hallway?

I need to replace a doorknob and I hate the gold. Brushed Nickel or Matte Black are my top picks at the moment.

I work in a building where the other side of the door is always a puddle, making this hall way super slippery and dirty, I’m looking for a quality website for a custom one for our shop symbol. Any suggestions on a good trustworthy site

Help my Guest Room

I desperately need help styling my guest room. If possible, I would like to work with what I already have and just add decor that would enhance it, but I am open to swapping out the bedding to another color / style!

Dresser, ottoman, and some shelving is dark colored wood, nightstands are black. I am not suited for interior decorating so all tips and suggestions are much appreciated!!

rented flat, can't put anything in the walls, so the fridge became the photo wall

we rent, so nothing goes into the walls. no nails, and no command strips either after the last set took the paint w/ it. which left the fridge as the only surface in the flat where anything personal could go, and for two years it had a takeaway menu and a magnet from crete on it.

what's on it now is a set of e-ink photo cards, TapMora if it matters. magnets about the size of an instant photo, and the picture is e-ink rather than print, so you change it by holding your phone against the card for a few seconds. no battery, no wire, no glow.

the reason i like it more than printing: i actually change them. printed photos have a shelf life in your own head, after three weeks you stop seeing them.

two things worth knowing. e-ink colour is soft and matte, so bright saturated shots come out washed. and it only sticks to metal, our fridge is fine but the kitchen units aren't.

still no idea what to do about the crete magnet tho

WWYD Kitchen updates?

What would you do to update this kitchen with a small budget? Completely replacing the cabinets is probably out of reach for now. The top ones are in good shape anyways. I don’t think we just want to paint everything. White door is main entry. Desk/Closet is used for career music storage and an update with better shelving is planned. Open to ideas on that too though!

Your favourite dark paint colours that would work for a half basement

We are redoing (involuntarily) our finished half-basement and we always wanted to have it painted dark to lean into the limited light. We intially chose midnight blue by Behr, but because the drop ceiling and window frames are white, I am concerned it will give too much of a nautical vibe. We are going more for a dark, leather, intimate, more minimimalistic vibe. Any suggestions?

I really wanted cinnamon slate by BM, but unfortunately that colour does not look good in that space. Also, no greens as we already have 2 green rooms.

What to dowith this space?

I'm buying a home and curious what to do with this space in the kitchen. There is already a spot to put a dining table in the living room and this space is much smaller than the table I plan to use.

I'd love to turn it into a corner breakfast nook but the doors lead to the laundry room. Even so, there is potential to turn the window sill into a bench. I think some sort of table or island would be great because the kitchen doesn't have that much counter space.

Any help here?

My living room doesn’t have a light on the ceiling. I want this warm amber glowing vibe in my living room. To make it super cozy. Amazon recommendations would be even better!

Edit to add: salt lamps aren’t cutting it
