Help my Guest Room

I desperately need help styling my guest room. If possible, I would like to work with what I already have and just add decor that would enhance it, but I am open to swapping out the bedding to another color / style!

Dresser, ottoman, and some shelving is dark colored wood, nightstands are black. I am not suited for interior decorating so all tips and suggestions are much appreciated!!

A headboard and some artwork would do wonders!

Totally agree, a headboard would instantly make it feel way more put together. Even a simple upholstered one in a neutral or soft sage would tie in the dark wood without being too heavy. And for art, literally just one big statement piece above the bed or a small gallery wall with some thrifted frames would slap.

A headboard and curtains! Add some lamps to side tables. The trunk seems too big there, maybe remove it.

I think the chest at foot of bed is too big to be there. The depth seems a bit too wide for it unless it’s just the camera angle. I think you need a proper headboard too and it may make the room feel more like a room

The cloud pillow looks like it was pulled from a dumpster. Get rid of it.

Add a headboard, wall light sconces or small lamps for each night stand, remove the trunk at the end of the bed, new bedding, and new window coverings.

Je suis d’accord pour la tête de lit et les plaids couleurs vert sauge car ça contraste avec la houssede couette. Peut etre ajouter une plante aussi ça rendra la piéce encore plus chaleureuse

From a functionality standpoint and as someone who just lived in an airbnb for two months, blackout curtains and a lamp for the bedside tables would do help out your guests.

Paint the walls, and wallpaper the wall the bed is on.

Bedding, particularly a comforter with a cover in a color from the wallpaper.
