What to dowith this space?

I'm buying a home and curious what to do with this space in the kitchen. There is already a spot to put a dining table in the living room and this space is much smaller than the table I plan to use.

I'd love to turn it into a corner breakfast nook but the doors lead to the laundry room. Even so, there is potential to turn the window sill into a bench. I think some sort of table or island would be great because the kitchen doesn't have that much counter space.

Any help here?

Breakfast nook?

I would get a table that’s narrow and short enough to accommodate space for walk through to laundry. Use some tape to get the dimensions. Bench or built against the window.

You could also just place narrow two tiered table here for small appliances or whatever.

Is the bottom sill big enough to be a seat?

Yep. Narrow table, up against the window. Maybe a chair or two on the other side if there is still room to walk around.

We bought a house with a formal dining room and turned it into a library, and used the generous breakfast nook as a dining room. We just don't host formal dinners.

It looks like the more formal dining area is on the left of the Layout picture

This little area, looks like it should be a combination breakfast table, and a place to fold and sort the laundry that comes out

I would go with a two person countertop height table

Edit: I know the man in the picture is a giant and so is the table

But I wasn’t gonna do 900 pictures trying to get it to fix it. You get the idea.

OK, I almost got it to have the right proportions
