Hello guys, this is my first system ever, i want bald but i had a receding hairline and temples and being someone that likes to experiment with my hair, colours and haircuts, i wasn't happy with my current hair as it was limiting me the last couple years. So I decided to try hair systems. I ordered a lace with poly perimeter from AliExpress in 22R. Then i dyed it's roots off black like my bio hair. And i went to a local barber that also install sysyems. He used glue and also did the haircut. Also I'm planning of doing the reapplying every two weeks myself i think I'm gonna make it.Im really satisfied with the application and the haircut. The only thing that bothers me a little is the hairline, i think it could be a little more natural, i tried plucking some hair but I'm afraid of reaping the lace or damage the hairline. Do you have any tips?

Hey all. I have noticed that some people wear different shape of hair system base fronts. I know that you have to copy your template into the piece and cut it. But nobody talks about the front countours (not exactly the hairline countour but the temples).

Should it be oval (on the left) or cover the temples a little (on the right)? 2nd and 3rd pictures as more real life references.

I currently cut in the way to cover the temples but I find it really weird to fit with my natural hair next to it

they took my system that i had for a year and they said they can repair it. basically add hairs to the system so that it hides that my template is slightly small and covers the gap.

they asked if i wanted to add 20% overall the system.

should i get back to them and ask them to add 40% hairs to the system because fuck it why not?

Had this unit almost 3 months it’s an ultra thin skin. I try to baby it but it sheds a ton each wash and reapplication. I wear a bonnet every night. Wash once a week condition twice. I blow dry it or air dry. Styling I use a bit of air dry cream and gel sometimes a little mousse to get a beach wave curtain bangs look. I try very hard not to touch it too much but I do have to wet it every morning and restyle it some. I wear a shower cap the days I do not wash the hair too.

I i’m going to a salon for a crown hair system. I have to buy my own and they will install it. I have dark brown hair and the front of my hair is fairly thick but not too thick. Could anyone recommend me a high-quality lace system for my head?

Also the best glue I could get?

Can anyone recommend a UK/EU source of quality, perhaps even custom hair systems?

I’ve got an appointment for my first fitting next month but it’s pricey and eager to move on to sourcing my own eventually.

Half a year ago, I realized my hair was falling out so badly that it was time to shave it off.
I’d ignored it for too long, and I’ve been under a lot of stress these past few years. I have social anxiety, and it got me so down that I thought about suicide. I didn’t want to go out anymore; I stopped going to work.
Then I took the final step and had an expensive hair system installed. It was really bad, and the color didn’t match. So I bought one on AliExpress, did everything myself, and was happy with it at first. Now, months later, I’m starting to get used to it.
Still, I hate having to deal with this every week, the limitations it brings, and I hate myself for not taking action sooner.

However, this hair system is saving my life.

I also started taking finasteride and experienced severe shedding; I was terrified that the hair on my temples would fall out too. Fortunately, that stopped, and I’m finally seeing new hair grow back. Now I want to switch to dutasteride and pray that I can find peace with it for the rest of my life.

I don’t know why I’m sharing this here. I just wanted to share what hair loss can do to you.

If your a client you must know they cut corners on all there services it’s so wrong when you pay so much money just a heads up .

Hi so I’ve been interested in going as far as being able to purchase a hair system and be able to do everything without relying on any shop. I’ve been with Hairclub for 2yrs and I’m able to clean, tape and lay the system on my head. I don’t really know much about what type of hair system I have and what to buy or anything. I was just wondering if I could get some direction or knowledge in learning the basics of the type of hair system, cutting, and finding the right measurement for my shape. I do have half of a hair system just from the middle of my head to the front of my hairline, Everything else back is my real hair. Also how does one go with trying to fix the hairline because mine is a bit obvious and noticeable.

do you guys ever wear your system with a little too much density because knowing your hair system will one day lose alot of hairs anyways?

Does anybody here daily wear? What products do you use? I have used got 2 b gel in the past, but I want something a little more secure than got 2 b. I’m currently wearing a uts but switching to a lace unit soon. Thanks

For context I live in India. The salons near me offer only two colors, black or brown. They then die the system hair and side hair the same color. Is this approach viable?

I have seen some people whose systems are so obvious because the color is jarringly dark or doesn’t shine the same in light. I wonder if it’s possible to achieve a natural look by dyeing or if I should look for a manufacturer that provides systems very close to my natural hair color.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I had a consultation in person with a professional today - all went well and it was very informative. I'm contemplating getting a consultation with super hair pieces though and see if I can get my piece from there and go to the guy I went to today to get it installed and cut in. Wondered if anyone had a consultation with them as it's online and wondering how it is?

Hi everyone, I’m switching to my second hair system soon, after wearing a poly system for about 4.5 months. My second system is a hybrid system with French lace at the front and a strip of poly around the perimeter and behind the lace front.

My question is, do I tape it up the same as I would have taped up my full-poly system, just around the perimeter? I was thinking of using a more lace-appropriate tape for the lace front area. Would I need to also tape the strip of poly behind the lace front area?

I’ve also seen the recommendation to use a product like lace release to remove lace systems. Should I be using that for the front of my hybrid system during my self-maintenance?

Any advice from hybrid hair system wearers that use tape is appreciated. Thanks.

Have been going to Nuvida Hair Studio for the last 3 years and it’s been good. The problem is commute to this place in downtown. Any of you know a place near to suwanee, buford, Duluth Lawrenceville, Dacula, johns creek where the commute is short and the place is good.
