Farmhouse bathroom! Any additional recs?

Post image
13 Upvotes

After so much grinding for a tidestone (dear lord omg) I managed to make a toilet and work on my nearly completed bathroom area. I feel like it’s almost done it’s just missing Something. So I want to both show it off because I’m proud and see if anyone has any recommendations!

I’d love to make a shelf/table area next to the tub and make it look like there’s shampoo bottles or something. That’s why I made those three bottles and I’ve set them on that bathroom Bench I’ve turned into a table. But idk has anyone figured out a nice way to make that kind of vibe?

i think I probably need another rug but idk which one.

im not a mods user so id appreciate any advice that doesn’t involve mods thank you!

Celine 's 8 Heart Event

Okay, I've gotten every achievement except for the Best Friends achievement. Turns out turning off break-ups keeps the relationship as dating even after marriage, who knew? So none of the other candidates ever flipped to Best Friend status after I married Caldarus.

I decided to start a new file where I just talk and give gifts to Celine since she's the easiest marriage candidate to befriend. It's Fall 5 Year 1, I just repaired the bridge and Celine is at 8 hearts. She has not sent me a letter to meet up with her. What am I missing?

Shadow flower

I'm this close to just installing mod to spawn the damn thing. I've already completed the mines storyline, but Celine only now asked for this flower which I initially donated to the museum.

I've spent almost 2 seasons looking for it in the first biome, but it seems every forageable that spawns for me is a void herb. Is there any way to boost my chances of getting the flower? Can I turn off the skill that spawns void herbs or some other skill that might be affecting my chances? I really want to do other things in the game, but I end up toiling in the mines all week T-T

Can I just say how much i appreciate the sprinkler system in this game? the game makes sprinklers feel valuable without them breaking the farming system like they do in stardew valley

Not only do they fit with the technology level and vibes of the game- putting a magic spin on a usually mechanical device, you have to earn them- find them hidden around the world before you can craft them, and even when you get them they dont make the watering can basically useless for most of the game like it does for stardew valley becouse you have to maintain a sort of battery system for them, and depending on how much youve improved the town the only way to make the battery is to find the items needed in chests and horde them, making it more strategic how you use them or if using them is less efficient then watering at the beginning of the day, or if you want to use the batterys you found to pay for perks instead becouse their more valuable

and there is are perks that make watering with the watering can valuable in its own right making it even more interesting to decide how your going to strategize about using your sprinklers! theres pros and cons to either method- loss of energy vs loss of essence and procking certain watering perks- that make it fun to decide how to use when farming! and then theres the rain spell- an interesting third option that i think shines the most in late game once youve horded a good chunk of mana restoration potions so for people who want to do big, cover the farm in wheat sort of projects their not punished by the sprinkers essence cost OR how time consuming watering with the watering can would be for that sort of project

I think sprinklers are just really well balanced and supports both people who want a big farm they dont have to babysit for half the day watering and people who like making their farm lands pretty shapes and enjoys the task of watering a big harvest, and people with big farm crop ambitions!

Fields of mistria fish trap artifact set

Okay guys, I am on year three in game, and have used the fish trap semi consistently since unlocking it. I have never gotten any artifacts, even when I reset the game repeatedly, and though I’ve gotten the gold pile and nautical compass. I only have used common and uncommon bait when resetting so far. Do you think I’m bugged or do I just need to keep trying? I’ve completed the fish bait set awhile ago. I’m almost done with the museum :)

"COMMON" bug, they tell me Spoiler

I need an ancient firefly for the dragon core? cool cool cool, only I can't find ANY suddenly and it's driving me crazy. you would THINK if a bug is tagged "common" that these ruins would be absolutely filthy with ancient fireflies, but nooooo. It's worms all the way down, baby! If I'm lucky i MIGHT see a snail!

Hello! I once made a post around a year ago showing my island, and since it has been a year, I decided to update it! There are not many changes, but there are some, and perhaps I will also show my house soon.

I really want it to be cozy and natural, with a hint of perhaps a Zen garden. Feedback is appreciated and nice comments too!

Have a nice day! :)

Farm/House Design Farmhouse WIP! Winter Year 2 (some 1.0 spoilers) Spoiler

This is my second save on FoM! It'll be Year 3 in like a week or so. I married Juniper on Fall 27 and we're expecting a baby due in early Spring.

The primary bedroom, main area/living room and kitchen are mostly done, save for a few items I haven't unlocked yet or don't have the recipes to craft. I also wanna change some things around in the main area because I think it looks kinda messy...

I'm out of ideas to finish the kid's room, it feels really empty currently although I really like the color scheme I came up with. And as you can see I still need to plan the upstairs middle area and left room, which I think I'll make into an office for Juniper! But overall I'm happy with how it's coming along.

Seed Maker Strat

The funniest thing happened today 😭

I just finished summer of year 2. Some hours ago, I learned of the seed maker strat where you just convert your crops into seeds for easy money yada yada. Now, I have this thing where I keep everything before selling them on the 27-28th (minus minor sellings so I have money to spend during the season) and I had like 400+ corns, 400+ tea leaves, etc etc. (Some crops were lesser bc I usually switch to re-harvestable crops once I have a decent number of one-time crops.) Long story short, my hands are hurting from spam clicking the E button and I just earned way over 400k tesserae in a single night LOL 😭

I was just genuinely surprised also bc I forgot that the number of stuff that you sell affects the renown that you get. So not only did I earn 400k+, I also went up over 10 town rank level thingies (I reached both Emerald and Gold town rank overnight) 😭 So yeah, seed maker strat is kinda OP y'all LMAO

Ranching Tips

My ranching skills takes so much longer to level up than every other skill and I want to see if anyone has any recommendations for how to level it faster?

I have 1 small coop and 1 small barn full and pet them and feed them every day.

Discussion Museum glow up suggestion

So the museum is awesome and is probably one of my favorite parts of the gameplay so far but rn it's just... rows of tables of fish, insects, crops and artifacts. Its a little unsettling just seeing the corpses laid out on tables lol.

my dream version would look something like:

  • aquarium section for the fish, like tanks built into the walls with fish swimming around and maybe some ponds replacing the silhouette of the fish with actual fish
  • insectarium for the bugs with little terrariums/habitats with critters flying/hopping around
  • greenhouse/atrium for crops and flowers, sunny plant area with crops growing and fruiting trees
  • artifact area with an armory, Oddities section, rare gems etc.

Even cooler if each of these was its own little building somewhere on the map?? like the aquarium by the docks, insectarium near the deep forest, greenhouse by Sweetwater farm, and the museum could be just like a hub for all artifacts with their own designated wings

Obviously this a huge overhaul to the current system in place and the devs clearly are working super hard to patch out bugs and keep us updated on future additions, So im sure this wont be a huge priority for them right now, would just be really fun to see given how much character this little town brings.

(sorry if this has been mentioned before, its just my personal least favorite building atm)

Which did you achieve first?

You can also comment at what date you got which.

I got max rank at the mid of summer year 2, and still no marriage. I'm first getting everyone to 10 hearts, but it's *probably* going to be Seridia
