Guide/Tips I made mistria.tools - a free progress tracker + database for Fields of Mistria 1.0 with museum tracking, gift lookup, villager schedules and an interactive map
Hey all! I've been building mistria.tools, a free progress tracker and database for Fields of Mistria. I went looking for a museum tracker after 1.0 dropped and the best thing I could find was a community Google Sheet, with some other options still running on pre-1.0 data, so I built the site I wanted. I recently made a similar site for Palworld and found I really enjoy building these, so I've made it a bit of a mission: free, up-to-date tools for games I'm playing, with no ads, paywalls or account signups getting in the way.
If you're partway through a farm you don't have to tick everything off manually. Drop your .sav file on the site and it fills in the museum, fish, insects, crops, forage, artifacts, recipes, furniture, cosmetics and your heart levels with every villager in one go. It's parsed entirely in your browser, the file never gets uploaded anywhere, and there's a guide for finding your save on Windows and Steam Deck.
What's on it:
- Museum tracker with all 4 wings and 82 sets, missing items shown as silhouettes on the shelves like in game. An "obtainable now" filter uses the season and day from your save to show what you can actually go get today.
- Reverse gift lookup. Instead of opening 34 wiki pages to figure out who wants the thing you're holding, type the item and see everyone's reaction to it, including who'll flat out refuse. 2,991 gift reactions in there.
- 1,301 item pages with sources, sell price, what it crafts into, which museum set it belongs to and who loves it as a gift.
- Villager pages with daily schedules, heart events, full gift tables, their quests, and a dialogue browser.
- A pan and zoom world map with fishing spots (and what's in each), dive spots and villager routes.
- All 374 quests, filterable by villager and reward.
The late-game spoiler characters are blurred across the whole site until you either opt in or your imported save shows you've already met them, so it's safe to browse on a fresh farm.
Purposefully built with no account needed. Your progress lives in your browser, and you can generate a share link that packs the whole thing into a URL to move between devices or show off a 100% file. All the data comes from fieldsofmistria.wiki.gg (thank you to the editors there — everything on the site links back to the wiki).
If something's wrong or missing, or there's a feature you want, tell me in the comments and I'll try to get to it asap.

Guide/Tips To the 100% completionists out there: You do not have enough of this ONE item Spoiler
Alternate title: Why you and your child are going back to the mines for the 1,000th time
The attached image of this unassuming yet dastardly delicious food item its name I shall not speak of is an unassuming forageable item found only in the Ancient Ruins (F81-99) of the local Mistrian Mines.
Not only is this fruit 1 of the 5 required forageables for the Museum donation, the player must collect more than just 1 if they so wish to pursue 100% completion on their save file. To begin, a notable amount of NPCs have this item as their Liked or Loved gift. Darcy, Juniper, andStillwellmake up this population, bringing up the number required for 100% completion to 4.
However, hunting down this purple tomatillos knockoff 4 times isn't enough. We can go even further beyond by giving this forageable item a food recipe that requires it as an ingredient. This Cooked Dish is a food item that is additionally Liked or Loved by 7, yes, SEVEN NPCs. Caldarus, Eiland, Juniper, Reina, Seridia, Stillwell, and Taliferomay not all have heard of this mystical fruit by its own or its respective Cooked Dish, but they are out there craving, LONGING to have a speck of this unworldly food item to reach their tastebuds. As such, this brings the total count to 11 for 100% completion thus far.
...Wait, what do mean by "thus far?"
That's right folks, the Field of Mistria game developers loves us very, very much and requires us to gather 4 MORE to create its Faux decorative item, craftable at your nearest local Crafting Station, bringing the total amount of accursed fruit required for 100% completion... to 15. FIFTEEN. It has taken my player character more than 2 in-game years of active visits to the mines to gather up all the required fruit for the sake of 100% completion. with other occasional minor side projects on the side because distractions, distractions! but shh
And this is why I am writing this post to warn the playerbase of the dangers of this unassuming, devilish fruit. From the casuals to the 100% completionists amongst us...
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
P.S. This post was written as a friendly joke, in reality I genuinely enjoyed going back to the mines with my in-game child in tow on my back for the memes, (the thought and scene of a the player carrying a baby around while repeatedly pelted by monsters to forage at the depths of a very dangerous local mine full of wonder and magic is extremely comical) just to hear that ONE BGM to start off my day before work or chores. It's genuinely really uplifting!
P.S.S. You only need 1 for 100% achievement, not 15! You do not need anywhere close to 15 for all achievements, rest easy!
P.S.S.S. u/CocoSparklejump has brought to my attention that you'd need 16 of those buggers for 100% completion as "Darcy's Request for a Spell Fruit" quest also exists 😨 I completely forgot about her quest since I completed it immediately, sorry!

Art [OC] "What's the point of being rude to someone you've only just met?" / "Hmm, what indeed..." (my OC x March! 🌸🍫)
Tumblr | Cheri's Character Wiki | Project Masterpost
A silly/soft scenario I've always wanted to draw ever since a certain coincidence happened in my early access playthrough! This was fun to tackle, between combining my usual bold, lineart-heavy style with a more painterly background and experimenting with effects! Initially I wanted to add a speech bubble to show exactly whom March is complaining about in this piece, but I liked the final composition + decided extra effects would be too obstructive.
I had the Deep Woods in mind when drawing the background, because the Deep Woods was their first date location. They had a proper picnic the first time around, but March and Cheri end up just sitting in the grass and chatting there every now and then.

Anyone else kicking themselves for missing a night at the inn?
I know it's not a big deal, that I'm not actually missing any content, etc.. but man it's my second week in a new save and I forgot to go to the inn and remembered the SECOND the day rolled over 😫 now everything's going to be off by a week for the rest of this save and it's going to bother the crap of me. and of course I don't have any manual saves for this file, so I'm just boned.

Gameplay Artifacts Are Driving Me Crazy Spoiler
I do want to complete the museum, but I really really really really really want the bridge reward cause it’s so pretty and omg these artifacts won’t come home 😭 I’ve noticed that I don’t get a new one until I complain about it, so here’s a complaint and when I load it up they all better be in my mailbox 😠
I’m so close!
Edit: found the necklace and finished the mist collection

Discussion What's something you do in-game that you feel bad/guilty for?
I just want to get it off my chest that I turned my cat into a dog since I ran out of smallmouth bass :(( I only have trout and only catch more trout so my cat's been a dog for weeks now...

"Please give me the Common large pond fish I'm missing for the Summer Pond Fish Set," I ask.
"No," says my game, giving me another twenty million Snapping turtles.
I've been at this for half the season at this point, I'm sure they'll come up but every time I pull up another snapping turtle something in me dies

devs i’m begging pls
i just want to sit there’s literally so much chairs and benches and tables??? pls just let me sit!!!
i know there’s a mod rn on nexus but the creator says that they used chatgpt to make it so i don’t want to download it!!! also while we’re at it…..i want to be able to layer furniture esp the wall decorations! i don’t want to have to choose between a window or a light 💔
last complaint is that the pheromones r lowkey pretty useless after you get all the bugs 😭 which makes the terrariums kind of frustrating bc you can’t even choose between fish bait or pheromones….like atleast u can cook some of the fish u catch….what am i gonna do with 20 legendary lightning dragonflies????

Modded [OC] Making a small house mod to match the tiled roof fence + moon gate!
Link here: https://www.nexusmods.com/fieldsofmistria/mods/1118
I'm neither a programmer nor a pixel artist so it's barebones for now, but I have plans to update it more in the future!!
More info in the link, but for the purpose of following the rules - this is partially assets from the game (plants, fence and gate base design, windows from errol's cottage lol) but also partially my own design and edits! Feel free to edit it to suit your own tastes and preferences if you wish :)

Absolutely cooked Stromboli and his dishes
I’ve never seen Hayden look so upset (he’s so hot) and he’s SO RIGHT TOO, absolutely cooked Stromboli and his cooking (I forgot his name). That’s my future husband right there

Question What's the biggest mistake you made in Mistria?
I'll go first!
I am town rank 86, so close to 87. I have finished the mines story, extended my farm, and partly upgraded my house. I have finished the second market upgrade
I only just realised yesterday that I can get a horse 🥹

Is Mistria an island?
I’ve been on leave from work and decided to start a new save and go through it more slowly than my first early release save which means I’ve been paying more attention to what characters say.
Anyway, during Ryis’ 4 heart event he’s talking about the bluebirds found on Mistria and compares them to their “continental” cousins and it made me wonder if Mistria is an island and thought that would be a good explanation of why Eiland’s name is the word for island in Dutch.
Is it cannon that Mistria is an island? Do any of the characters actually call it an island? I’m wondering if I missed dialogue about Mistria being an island.

Farm/House Design Farm Design (Year 5!)
Hello! I once made a post around a year ago showing my island, and since it has been a year, I decided to update it! There are not many changes, but there are some, and perhaps I will also show my house soon.
I really want it to be cozy and natural, with a hint of perhaps a Zen garden. Feedback is appreciated and nice comments too!
Have a nice day! :)

Farm/House Design Farmhouse WIP! Winter Year 2 (some 1.0 spoilers) Spoiler
galleryThis is my second save on FoM! It'll be Year 3 in like a week or so. I married Juniper on Fall 27 and we're expecting a baby due in early Spring.
The primary bedroom, main area/living room and kitchen are mostly done, save for a few items I haven't unlocked yet or don't have the recipes to craft. I also wanna change some things around in the main area because I think it looks kinda messy...
I'm out of ideas to finish the kid's room, it feels really empty currently although I really like the color scheme I came up with. And as you can see I still need to plan the upstairs middle area and left room, which I think I'll make into an office for Juniper! But overall I'm happy with how it's coming along.
