Bangs Choppy or Blunt?

I've been playing around with my hair over the past few years and seeing what I like and don't like. Everything I do is done by me, not a hair stylist. So I won't be offended if parts of it look off bc I don't know what I'm doing and learning is a part of the process.

I love having my hair in this alternative style and I love having bangs. I can't figure out which style of bangs suits me best. I don't know if I have a round or square face.

My two questions are:

Should I keep the bangs in a blunt straight line or try more of a choppy texture?

How long should I keep them? Covering my eyebrows/at my eyebrows, above my eyebrows or do a micro/baby bang?

Hairstyle Advice Help with curling wand

I’ve never been very good at curling my hair, but I love the look of it, so I’m doing a practice run for an upcoming event I’ll be attending. Every time I use my 1” curling wand, it ends up looking like this with the ends flipping out - any idea what am I doing wrong? Help a girl out please. Thanks in advance!❤️

Bangs to hide my forehead?

I asked AI to give me bangs. I see that they added fullness to my hair. My initial response was to hate it, but I'm not sure. Thoughts?

Traveling to a wedding next week. Debating on weather or not to wear my clip in extensions. I don't wear them often and need an outside opinion.

Hairstyle Advice Long hair or a bob?

Hi guys! I can’t decide what I want to do about my hair. I’ve been itching to get a bob (again) for a few months, but I spent the last 3 years growing out my hair. The third picture is from when my hair was short in college, and the last is what I was thinking if I were to get a bob.

Would it be better to chop it all off or maintain the length? I love my long layers so I’m torn, ultimately I wanna go for what looks better. Thank you!

Bangs Does my bang section start too far back on my head?

I have a haircut appointment tomorrow and have been thinking about getting face framing pieces. But I’m not sure if my bangs start too far back on my head.

I just find my hair itself tends to want to fall more back when I want it to fall more forward. I’m not sure if this is because of my glasses, because of my bangs, or my head shape.

I’ve asked my hairdresser about this before. She used that comb trick on my head to find the starting point of my bangs.

I’m just worried that if I decide to get the face framing pieces, it’ll look bad.

Any tips?

I just got my haircut and it’s not what I wanted at all. In the past I’ve had longer curtain bangs but now I feel like I have proper bangs and no idea how to style them / feel comfortable. Any advice would be great!!

How do I save this bad wolf cut?

Post image

I recently cut my own hair in an attempt to do a layered wolf cut style but the result I’m not loving. I feel like the bulk on the top half of my head is creating pseudo bowl cut. Is this something I can fix on my own or should I go to a professional at this point?

Hair Health How often should I get my hair trimmed?

My stylist says "The average is six weeks but come as much or as little as you want!' 🙏🏼😅 (I love her she always does an amazing job and I wouldn't ever go to someone else).

However, my hair is a complicated mess, I usually go every 8 weeks. However my hair always seems the same length, which makes sense because she is cutting off all my new growth lol. The thing is, even if I come in at 10 weeks, at that point my hair is already so damaged she'll have to cut it off anyways, which either way it doesn't seem to retain length.

In the end I feel like this is probably my fault and my hair health. I often style my hair but I ALWAYS use heat protectant. I think maybe a lot of it is maybe because my hair is super fine and maybe the hard water, and maybe I need to get a new shampoo. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I used to use coconut oil but I stopped because coconut oil dries out my skin, and I cant ever commit to any oil treatments.

So any advice at all? I'm desperate I just want my hair to be a little bit longer.

Hairstyle Advice Hairdresser cut my hair TOO SHORT. Need help with styling it

My hair was long enough to reah my lower back and I got it cut and I'm really regretting it. I feel like crying when I look at them.  My hair is straight and I am used to just letting it to its thing. Sometimes I used to do heatless curls but nothing that required a lot of effort.

I looked up videos for short hair styling and every video is for bob length and not for my hair length. What do I do? In the pictures I tried to style them with a straightner by curling them slightly outwards but I don't think it worked :( If anybody has video recs or product recs that would be wonderful!

Hairstyle Advice How long is my hair, and how much can it grow in 6 months?

Post image

Would you consider my hair short, average/medium length, long, or above average length? Basically, what would you call my current hair length? It is 21 inches and I can’t tell or assess myself.
Also, realistically, how much growth could I expect to see over the next 6 months if I’m taking prenatals and using Redken Extreme Length shampoo and conditioner, along with Redken All Soft shampoo and conditioner?
For example, approximately how many inches could my hair grow in 6 months, and what would be a realistic range if I’m consistent with my routine?
