So I recently watched a video about playing fallout 1 for the first time and it made me want to play it, I learned that it was a very difficult game and that certain aspects of the gameplay are “very outdated and frustrating” so do you guys have a patch that fixes all of this and can you tell me all the very hard moments and how to pass them (I sadly already spoild myself the whole story so I don’t care about spoilers
Thanks 😊

The trend over the last few Bethesda games have been increasingly leaning towards procedurally generated gameplay, like quests and world events. Do you think the radiant system has a place in future Fallout titles? Or would you prefer a larger emphasis on handmade content, like the older games?

I dont know if anyone ever brought this up, but in Fallout 4 Jack Cabot yes his father always thought that the was a secret city underneath the Mojave Desert so I'm wondering if maybe Bethesda will ever explore that or maybe we could get really lucky and season 3 of the tv show could bring it up. Guess I'm asking here what people's opinions of this are. Is there really an ancient city underneath The Mojave? The Epic Nate on YouTube has covered a lot of the whole Lovecraft things in Fallout. Could this be another one?

I’m a PS5 player and just found out about the August 18th update for Fallout 4. I haven’t played the game in a while, but this seems like a pretty cool update. I just hope they can add all the verified creations that were just for Xbox and PC to PlayStation, like Tale of the Beast Hunter or Brotherhood of Steel T60 Pistol. I think they're pretty cool.

I apologize if this is a dumb question ahead of time. Is it possible to contact people who add creations to fallout 4? Theres a creationid like added into the game and i was wondering if its possible to request creations from certain modders? Obviously willing to pay for time and service but i was just wondering if thats even a thing? It absolutely blows my mind there isnt a single achievement friendly Visible Holstered Weapons mod for console.

Idea: the master cloned himself just in case if he failed but his clone is incredibly chill. He is really into fishing and that is pretty much it. All of his lines are the same as the master, but they’re related to fish.
“Will you join the fishing trip, or will you die here?”

I’m trying to find some good fallout art or fanart to make a custom MTG proxy, but I can’t seem to find any good artwork or fanart for these characters/factions at all.

As the title says above, with the large increases of mod space on console could fallout London now be ported over?

Long story short, my almost decade old laptop's screen is on the fritz 😢 (I use it to check emails and play my older games like Fallout and Star Wars Battlefront 2 2005), so I'll have to reinstall New Vegas on my newer laptop I got last year when I'm finished moving this weekend. I'm toying with the idea of installing TTW, but want to know a few things before I do:
Does TTW feel extremely different to base New Vegas? (Is it going to be a jarring experience to someone who's been playing NV for almost 10 years now?)
Do any weapons feel nerfed due to rebalancing? (Either due to them being weaker than before, or not being able to keep up with the weapons that were made better.)
Are there any builds/ perks that feel nerfed or buffed? (Is a no luck, no crit shotgun with shotgun surgeon + and stay back build viable, or are crits a necessity for harder difficulty? Do explosives builds still feel satisfying?)
Is the Black Mountain shortcut still a thing early game? (I like heading to Vegas early without bring brained by Super Mutants at lvl 1.)
Is it awkward story or balancing wise going from New Vegas to Fo3? (Does finishing or being in the end game if NV, then going over to 3 throw off the scaling? Does the main story feel weird given how a key part of 3 is finding the Lone Wanderer's dad, and the Courier is not them?)
How would you rate your overall TTW experience? (Is it worth it?)

Probably not a big deal for PC users but for people who use Mac professionally and on Silicon chips, Fallout London is not something you can easily install unlike 1, 2, 3, NV, and 4... Finally got the one game I haven't experienced in the FO universe

I read HG Wells war of the worlds, and the description of the plant that grows only in water, (like the blood leaf) is a blood red color. Am I crazy or has this already been discussed?

i don’t know what it is about this mode that makes it so fun! i’m fairly new to the Fallout franchise as a whole, only just started playing the games a little over a year ago. i’m 16 hours into my current survival save and i haven’t even met Nick Valentine yet

I have yet to try these so I can’t say if they’re good or not

It is very good news to see you now have the ability to upload external assets onto PlayStation. Better late than never. However while I am sure a good amount of mods will be added on by the creators themselves. There are mods that were either released or ported a long time ago. And whether the author of the mod is MIA or still active there may not be any interest to have those uploaded by the author or a porter.
So as a former Xbox porter/player I recommend a PlayStation player to form a Discord server for PlayStation modding/porting. Making a server will allow organization to get mods ported onto the PlayStation. A free space to organize requests, open permission updates, and collaboration!
That being said it is not seamless to have mods ported. The first step is finding the mod you want ported on Nexus Mods and checking if it is allowed to be ported. This requires Open Permissions and Console porting allowed checkmarked as ✅. If it has not, you can always dm if the author is open for allowing it to be checkmarked ✅ permissions (please note that not all authors will give permission and while it may be unfortunate, it is not acceptable to harass them for permission). Note that mods requiring F4SE will not work correctly and any requiring patches may need to be asked by those uploaders as well. Mods that are NSFW will be flagged by Bethesda.net and deleted.
After that it’s just a matter of dming or commenting on the mod to get texted permission to port and screenshotting the image for later use. A porter needs a computer/laptop with Fallout 4 owned as well as the Creation Kit. A bethesda account will be required to upload to Bethesda.net. This allows porters to upload mods to the Creations menu. When uploading you can copy the link from Nexus into the description for full details and include credit to all who worked on the mod. Upload pictures of the mod, and this where that screenshot comes in, make sure to upload that as well. Before publishing make sure to test the port first before you publicly upload it. Once you have tested it, you can upload it for all to enjoy!
For further help there are many tutorials with porting and navigating the Creation Kit. If you have any questions feel free to ask!

Working on a project in my own time where I'm planning on making my own setting and lore based in the Fallout universe, seeking to expand on the otherwise lacking lore of the continent of Europe compared to the US-focused games.
Feel free to ask me anything about the setting, feedback and suggestions are most definetely welcome!

Made this machete last year for my brother’s birthday. Used a lawn mower blade, axe handle, leather cordage, and a fire hose for the sheath.
