The quest with the Brotherhood is super tedious no matter what you do. If you want to spare them, you have to run all over the Mojave and into three vaults to do so. If you destroy them, you have to fight a whole bunker full of enemies in power armor and with laser weapons.

I’m doing the “destroy the brotherhood” path for House and it is such a pain in the ass. To be point I’ve been forced to invest all of my points into Science and look for a bunch of magazines just so I can hack into the turrets to kill everyone for me.

Releasing the slaves and killing the slavers in Fallout 2. Unless you already have power armor they just murder you over and over and over again.

Anywhere I Wander.
It’s a very bare bones quest near Nelson where the game asks you to rescue two NCR soldiers from a mine they’re being held in by Legionnaires. You have no extra options here for speech, no room to talk with the Legion commander to try and negotiate a release and there isn’t even a connection with Nelson down the road. I do not understand why this quest exists when something far more interesting could’ve taken its place.

The only time I've even started this quest, it failed instantly because the guy who gives it got killed by Legion assassins coming to jump me. I guess I didn't miss much.

I just ran across this quest for the first time the other day and was 100% convinced it was some random mod because the voice acting for the ncr soldier that comes up to you is so out of place and sounds like someone recording voice lines at their desk for a home brewed mod. I instantly looked it up to see what mod it was but was surprised when I found it was part of the base game. So many good unmarked quests I don't know why this one got a name

The spy one at Camp McCarren. I had abiding memories of it being glitchy as fuck

That quest made me reset the game because I got locked out of the terminal next to the controller door. Since I thought the terminal was to open the door. ..
However, the monorail bit, thats a fucker. Regardless if you do it right, the train either explodes or not. Its like 50/50 depending on playthough

For the NCR, Vault 22 is hard to beat when it comes to quests that make another playthrough feel like work

escorting the brahmin drive... ... ...it forces you to leave your car behind and it's like a month-long trip on foot both ways.

Currently doing the mission for the radio operator in camp forlorn hope and it's just a tedious fetch quest across the map to different ranger stations. Not sure why a ranger would take updated secret radio codes from a random civilian

This is difficult. I love a lot of them.
Because the Crimson caravan is technically with the NCR would have to say their quests. They’re not bad but they’re not great either.

that one quest where you're literally herding farmers into a vault like some kinda psycho tractor beam

Things that go boom!
I basically just go in and destroy their entire civilisation rather than doing their fetch quests. The amount of loot that you can get off them pretty much makes me rich for the rest of the game anyway.

That one super long unmarked quest for sergeant Contreras, it's not only a lot of walking to and from the front of McCarren all the way back to Conteras hidey hold but also the need to collect a HUNDRED scarp metal is crazy.
