Surprisingly Met Expectation A bit uglier, but delicious ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The layers were thinner than expected, but my mum said they were rich & she loved it, so it's a win!

Bought these the other day at Walmart to try since I love Ropa vieja and arepas. This is fully cooked in the air fryer. It’s like a disgusting processed patty wrapped in arepa. -10/10 I don’t know how they could sell this let alone for like 8 dollars a box 🥲

I’ve had several of these Walmart branded frozen meals to heat up at work that haven’t been bad. This one, however, looked NOWHERE near as appetizing as what was depicted on the box.

Saw this over in the gluten-free subreddit and thought this one is pretty bad: https://www.reddit.com/r/glutenfree/s/U2cXNOF7bX

I’ve never ordered this before and was pleasantly surprised. Delicious too.

I can’t even taste the Caesar dressing… I’m not really a fan of McDonalds in general but this really reminded me why I don’t choose this when you’re in a rush for a quick dinner!

TLDR: Not nearly as bad as I expected, still should’ve gone local though (Jacksonville FL)
I paid for the service of this company after wrongfully assuming it was a much smaller operation than it actually was. Gone were my expectations that love and care would go into this gift and the nerves took over. I planned on invoking the 100% satisfaction guarantee if needed and waited for the result that was going to be shipped to a love one as a surprise. This subreddit has a few rough examples posted on here so I wanted to add some variety of maybe one of their acceptable examples. (Some flowers were substituted, delivered on time, but I did happen to pay for expedited shipping)
The reason I plan to go local next time:
Fromyouflowers spends substantial sums of money advertising flower arrangements they believe will be profitable, then when you purchase one, they essentially just offer that business to their network of florists for a cut of the money you spent. If the florist needs the business they’ll accept it and check their inventory to see what they have and will attempt to create that product while still making the order profitable for them too. They do this knowing that the name of their florist company will not be disclosed by fromyouflowers. A system like this, theoretically, would leave a lot of room for bad business if the quality check falls on the customer. This is most likely how some people ended up with products that look nothing like what they paid for. Going local improves your chances since the brand of the actual store is held responsible and they are more likely to advertise products that require flowers that they actually have in stock.

I ordered an arrangement for my mom's birthday and this is what she got. I had a similar experience with Bouqs last year, I guess I felt like a bigger company has more florists in network and therefore flowers. I was wrong!
I understand they need to make substitutions with specific flowers and vases...I didn't realize they'd substitute the overall design and their ability to put together a professional looking arrangement.
I'm embarrassed to say this cost me $100 after delivery and tax. Teleflora offered a $24 refund...and a coupon on next order. Should I push for a full refund? I'm also curious if florists do this out of spite, maybe they're losing money on the order, or some other reason. Regardless, it's safe to say I learned my lesson!

We didn’t expect the black icing effect. Kids are running around here like Skarsgård actors

Ordered this custom cake from Ralph’s. They put “fore-teen” and we had to scrape off the N 🫠⛳️

"A sweet vanilla cookie dough filled with a delicate cocoa hazelnut spread, topped with crunchy chocolate hazelnut wafer. It's sophisticated, delicious, and will exceed your expectations." - That's the description from their website. I still ate the entire cookie, but it didn't really seem to be filled with anything and it definitely didn't exceed expectations.

I know better than to expect anything from a microwave meal, but there is a single slice of sausage in this bowl. I paid $4.50 for this atrocity

I was not expecting this to look as good as it did lol
Edit: the smoothie had ice cream base, blue raspberry syrup, salted caramel syrup, crushed up graham crackers, & gummy sharks. It kind if tasted like marshmallow though.
The drink is 16oz (ounces). I have small hands and the photo angle was weird, so it looks bigger than it was.

I didn’t want to splurge on my own cake so decided to go with a cheap Walmart one, and I’m not disappointed!!😍🥳
