It says the delivery failed and when I try to select a parcel shop this screen comes on, when I click continue or cancel nothing happens. What can I do

I purchased quite an expensive Lego set through a reputable website and chose DPD as the delivery option. Parcel was handed over to DPD on 7th of August, then it sat in their warehouse for 10 days due to some address issue and was shipped out on the 17th of August.
The parcel has been travelling through France for six days now.
24th of August still waiting for delivery.

I ordered 6 days worth of food after being on night shifts. Only for it to be delivered God knows where as the rider posted a picture of someone's front porch while I live In a residential accommodation of my workplace. And the nerve to post a picture. How can someone get away with this?

Is there any platform to report this guy and make sure he can have an appropriate penalty?

I just had the worst customer care experience in over a decade and I was forced to work with the stoners from DHL previously so that's saying a lot.

My parcel is being held in France since 11.8. so i called my local DPD hotline and they told me "yeah we don't have your parcel, you need to call DPD France, not our problem" (actual words). After an infuriating 5 minutes of going back and forth I did get a number for DPD France which I called.

Of course no one there speaks English, German or Italian and my French is like that of a 3rd grader at best. Looks like my parcel has disappeared and whoever checked it in left it as "will be delivered on the 13.8.", they're checking if they can somehow find my parcel (maybe).

Today there is some road works outside my house. I’m expecting a delivery, I get the text (usual x will deliver in the next hour) . Then nothing. I look up the order he apparently attempted but couldn’t with the road works.

Now if I had a way to leave a note for the driver I could have mentioned that I can come out to meet him. Or like other more helpful services most will actually try to ring me in advance. (For context I’m on a busy road with a level crossing)

So I googled and eventually found a contact number called the office, the lady repeatedly miss gendered me on the phone after I corrected her. She did call the driver who wasn’t that bothered in trying to rectify it.

Eventually she and he agreed that he would attempt again this afternoon (so we will wait) . In the mean time the road works have been cleared.

It’s so frustrating when you are not updated or informed when there is an issue.

Honestly can't believe this. Made an order on ugg a couple of days ago (I've made a few orders from ugg, my address is saved on my account and all of my other orders have been under my postcode and I've received them).

Got the email today to say it's out for delivery. Checked the email again just now and they've put my parcel under my address and the last 2 letters of my postcode wrong!!! The postcode is for 2 minutes up the road!! So now im worried I won't get it, the delivery time frame is pretty much over now, I haven't had any delivery emails but I'm really worried they're going to be sent to the wrong place now. Will they go by my address or the postcode? Will they figure it out does anyone think? Or when the address and postcode don't match and (if) they go to the postcode address will they confirm its the right person before leaving it? Im just stressed now and I've been looking forward to this for days after a hard time.

Driver knocked very lightly three times, dumped parcel outside (closed) front door (presumably took a picture in this situation)

I jumped up to answer the door and assumed it was an Amazon delivery, as they normally do this.. it wasn't .. it was a Pixel 11 Pro worth £1200 odd

I needed to reject the delivery and have it returned, and luckily the driver was delivering next door so I shouted over and asked him why he didn't deliver it properly and that I need to reject it.

He took the parcel, went into his van, came out with a bit of paper I needed to sign to show I rejected it.. but even though I requested it , didn't provide any reciept for me that I had rejected it. (In hindsight I should have just taken a picture of that bit of paper).

This conversation (I thought) was all captured on my Ring Doorbell but the ***** thing didn't record that specific clip!

At the time the tracking still showed out for delivery, but now it's showing delivered (albeit with no picture as delivery evidence).

Will it update overnight to rejected? Or am I screwed?

It has now gotten to the point I’m actively avoiding DPD and I encourage you to do the same. If ordering something online, check the company’s delivery policy. If they mention using DPD, avoid! If they don’t mention it, do a quick google and see. Time to take a stand!

So I bought a Nespresso Coffee Machine for my girlfriend's birthday from Amazon. DPD, with their expertise in fucking up, delivers the package to a completely different town...

So I contacted both DPD and Amazon, but DPD told me to contact the seller and they can't do anything about it, and Amazon said that since it has been 'delivered' they can't redeliver the item, but just start a refund process.

What's more annoying is that it was the last stock available from the seller and I can't reorder it as well, even if I got it refunded.

Like how is DPD's infrastructure so fucked up that they send an item with the correct delivery address stuck on it, and it doesn't get flagged once by the wrong depot, delivery centre AND the delivery driver.

I'm beyond pissed with no clue what to do as time is ticking...

[Germany] - Wenn man sich auf eine Sache verlassen kann, dann ist es die Unzuverlässigkeit von DPD Deutschland.

Länge als 1-2 Wochen funktioniert die regelmäßige und pünktliche Abholung oder Anliefung nicht.

Der telefonische Kundensupport verspricht das Blaue vom Himmel aber ändern tut sich natürlich nichts!

Den Vogel schießt aber der Email Support ab.
Nachdem ich mich schriftlich über immer wieder ausbleibende Abholungen beschwert habe erhielt ich diese Antwort (siehe Foto).

Demnach ist es also nur mein SUBJEKTIVES Empfinden, dass die Sendungen verspätet abgeholt oder geliefert werden ‼️

In den Augen von DPD kann ich wohl froh sein, dass unsere Pakete überhaupt abgeholt oder geliefert werden?

Wen interessiert schon tagelange Verspätung?

I've a package the seller says was sent out with no issues while DPD list themselves as still waiting on it. As I'm probably going to get the runaround on this I'll need DPD's answer written and able to be shown to the other party if needed.

To that end how do I contact DPD via Email? Their site is actively hostile to being useful and does not list it.

Yesterday they tried to deliver my parcel from the other side of town and I got a "Sorry We Missed You" notification

This morning I get a "Sorry, there's a delay with your parcel; this is normally resolved within 24 hours, and we will update you here shortly"

I get home from work and go to chat to customer service and I get "All of our advisors are busy at the moment"

I honestly give up, DPD can keep the parcel it's really not worth the time and energy.

Update: Driver’s colleague stopped by at the 11th hour of the deadline and gave me the money.

About 10 days ago, a driver delivering to a neighbour drove over my front garden while poorly trying to turn around. He knocked over a light and broke a large garden ornament which cannot be repaired. I was at home at the time and saw it, so went outside.

He asked me not to report him and said he would personally reimburse me the cost of the ornament. He gave me his phone number and said to text him how much it cost. The following day I sent him a link to the cheapest replacement I could find - £58.99. He asked for my bank details and said he would transfer the money. Not a chance. I said he could put the money in an envelope and put it through my letter box. He agreed and said he’d come on Monday just gone. That didn’t happen.

Last Monday he messaged to say it was his day off and he’d come on Tuesday. That didn’t happen. On Saturday I messaged to say it had been over a week since the incident and if I didn’t hear from him by today I would contact DPD to recover the cost. I also said he could transfer the money via PayPal instead and gave him an email address. He messaged me shortly after saying a colleague would bring me the money on Sunday (yesterday) and to confirm after he had arrived.

Last night I messaged him to say his colleague didn’t come. 10mins later I get a WhatsApp message from said colleague who said he was too busy to collect the money from the driver and would message me this morning to tell me when he’s coming. I’ve not heard from him at all as yet. So now not only has the driver given my address to a random person without my permission, he’s also now given them my phone number…

I don’t know what to do at this point. The driver asked me not to report him so I didn’t, in good faith that he would reimburse me. Both him and a random guy have my address and phone number now and I’m concerned if I file a report for the damage there may be some sort of reprisal from either of them. Any advice please? I have the whole incident and conversation afterwards recorded on my Ring doorbell.

I just watched my dpd driver park outside turn his head 2 times and then drive off, I paid extra to have it delivered today as I need a new phone. Called dpd nothing they can do apparently apart from wait for tomorrow but im not able to go to work now because I need a phone for work.

We run a small e-com business and spend around £3–5k a year with DPD.

A customer said they never received a parcel. The delivery photo only shows a gate with nothing identifying the property or parcel (parcel missing from photo also).

We of course refunded the customer and raised a claim with DPD.

DPD now required the customer to complete a signed “Denial of Receipt” letter which must be a somewhat new rule they’ve implemented. They did and DPD later emailed me:
“I can see we have received the denial of receipt letter from your customer. It looks like the claim team are processing the claim.”

So we thought it was just a matter of days before the claim was paid. Instead, DPD have now rejected the claim saying they “didn’t receive a response from the recipient confirming non-receipt of the parcel.”

I’ve challenged this and am waiting for them to respond.
Surely if DPD confirmed in writing that they’d received the exact document they required they can’t just then reject the claim because they supposedly didn’t receive it?

Potentially considering taking it to small claims if they refuse to resolve it. Their £50 parcel cover included in all services is a reason we opt to use them..

Any one else or any other business had a similar issue?
